My son and I call this “The Last Toy Store”, it’s fantastic! We travel to the ADK region a couple times a year and this store is one of our highlights every time. The staff is kind and knowledgeable on all the games and have helped us select the perfect game to play time and again. The selection of toys and games delights children and adults alike! Five stars.

Such an awesome local toy store. Their selection of toys was both super interesting and also quite diverse. Their game section is HUGE and their staff is super friendly and awesome. They also have little areas for kids (and adults that are kids at heart) to play with various toys and legos. Prices are very reasonable too. Wayyyyyyy better than going to the toy aisle in a big box chain store like Walmart. I was super impressed and will definitely be back!

Very fun and friendly staff. While in Saranac Lake for 5 days, we went to here every day (except Sunday, they are closed). Mike and the other staff took a lot of time showing us many different games.

Really welcoming toy store with a very friendly and chatty owner! My daughter loved the various toy set ups around the store. There were quite a few toys that I've never seen anywhere else! Love supporting small businesses like this one.

The selection of games here is considerably curated, and the staff know their stock and how to match a game to folks walking in. My wife and I had a great time chatting about 2 player chess varient games, and ultimately left with a couple titles to play on vacation.If we had come with kids I can easilly see how we would spend an hour here. The Lego section is impressive, and the clever use of window display areas as "play zones" is cute and inviting.

Had a great time chatting about board games. The owner made some fantastic recommendation. Wish we could have purchased them all on the spot! Alas we were only able to grab Genius Square, Genius Star, and a Ravensburger escape puzzle. The rest will have to sit on the list for a little while.

Lovely store with friendly employees who can advise on their large and international selection of board games. We picked up a few card games and a mystery puzzle and were pleased with both (a great vacation activity). They also had a good Lego selection. Definitely a must-check-out destination when in Sacanac Lake.

A must go every time we're in town, rain or shine. Love that the owner (Dan) has such a passion for games and opens some up to try/learn before you buy. If you don't go to Goody Goody's, you're missing out.

Excellent toy store! Well curated, thoughtful selection. Not your typical junk toys but educational , imaginative, and playful items items. Bonus ..interesting adult board games with knowledgeable staff. Great place for adult gamers as well. My whole family was happy to find this place on our annual holiday holiday shopping trip to Lake Placid. I will definitely be returning here over and over again as this is the best Adirondack toy store. Easy to park and a nice play area for the kids to play as you browse!

This place is awesome! Stopped in here with some friends and the staff was very knowledgeable about games! The main thing that stands out about this store is the fact that you can play test any games with the staff! Extremely cool place.

I loved the friendly and helpful staff, and great selection games you can try out and The playful atmosphere. The Lego nook is a fun place for kids build and create to their hearts content. Will be back!....Update, went back and I still love this store, the owner and workers. They take time to talk with you and guide you to the toy or game that may suite you best. Go inside and try out a few games.

My kids call this their "favorite most perfect toy store" and it never disappoints! The owners will let you test the games and most of the toys (although a lot of items are not out right now due to COVID restrictions...), and will recommend just the right game for you and your family if you share with them your interests. You might be able to find the toys a little cheaper online, but a visit to this store is totally worth it!

Best game store of all time!!! Owner was incredibly nice and funny - taught us two different games (Azul and The Genius Square) and checked in periodically to make sure we were playing correctly. Ended up buying a game and we'll definitely be coming back to learn more. Huge selection for someone looking for something new to play.Big thanks for the awesome experience from the two mechanical engineers from Boston ☺️

What a shocking surprise, and came from a recommendation in lake placid at imaginations! Tons of toys to choose from for all types of toy/ board game and Lego fans. Well worth the extra drive from lake placid to spend an hour diving into some play time!

This toy store is one of a kind. The owner and his staff make shopping for children's items fun instead of stressful. It's a great store not just for young children but teens and adults too! They offer to teach/ demo games for you before you buy. Not many toy stores do that. I recommend this as a definite stop if you're visiting or living in the area!

Great selection of toys and games. They have most board games and various expansion packs. Very friendly staff to guide you in making the best purchase. There is an area where you can try any of the games first to see if you want to buy it. It is also in a great location down the street from town hall, hotel Saranac and the library.

Love this place! Owner is hilarious and personable, super friendly without being overbearing. Sat and taught us how to play a game, which I ended up buying (Days of Steam). They have everything from small stuffed animals for toddlers and babies to board games and Legos for older children and awesome strategy board games for adult children.

This place is awesome. Took the kids in to find some toys and games for the week. We were very impressed that the staff took time to recommend some fun games for our kids ages and skill levels and not only recommend but had sample games and tables for us to play and decide what we might like best. We will certainly be going back during our future visits to Saranac Lake.

Just before Christmas we were walking through downtown Saranac Lake after a great breakfast at the Blue Moon Cafe. We weren't sure if the toy store was open yet but noticed a small quiet little dog inside the door wagging his tail. We tried the door, went in, and met the canine greeter named Norman. The folks inside were friendly and helpful and the store was very nicely organized so it was easy to browse and find things. The store was just what we were looking for and the people were very helpful.

Was great at first when I went in, friendly owner. Was in with my kids who are all Lego nuts. Planned to buying a few of the hard to find sets they had. Owner asked where we were from, what we planned in doing when we were down (day trip). When I stated we were going to ride in the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, he became critical. Glad the arrows is going to be ripped up. Hates his taxes going to it. Very negative. I really don't care about his thoughts on the subject, or the politics involved with it. But if someone comes into your store with his kids and the owner starts bad-mouthing the reason they came to the community in the first place, that's just bad customer service. Won't be back, period!
