store is great the cashier though, he is so rude! I go out of my way to go to the one in Bloomingdale because the older bald cashier is so unbelievably rude! get some good workers and the store would be 5 stars!

Understaffed, I miss when Victoria was the manager. She had everything organized, and was on point with customer service! The place meets the needs of our neighborhood, but they could use more help. Maybe if they raised their pay they might find more workers willing.

I have to give props to Todd ad DG in Saranac Lake. Not only does he work alone and many hours, He has ALWAYS been helpful and nice even when some of our "locals" have nothing better to do than go in just to cause grief,he handles it well then turns with a smile.I run a business as well and I truly understand how hard it is,especially in these situations. Working alone is difficult, I have been for a year now so I truly understand what a good employee/store manager you have!

It's okay.It fills a need for that neighborhood. I go there periodically, but to be honest I never feel great about doing so.Why didn't the corporation put a few thousand bucks more into sprucing up the space, instead of just tearing out an old store and throwing in a new one that looks exactly like the old one?I'll never understand.

This store is like a lot of other dollar generals I've been in. It's a little cluttered, and there isn't a lot of organization. Thats not to say that you cant find what your looking for, you will just have to look a little harder. The staff are nice and friendly, but didn't offer any help or try to see if I needed anything.

This store is always a mess boxes too put on shelf all over. Some items not priced and never enough help. Always smells musty! The other day they left a box full of large colorful balls outside and wind knocked over and they were all over parking lot and in street very hazardous.

Cheap prices, decent selection, and fairly good service, great for picking up house hold necessities like toilet paper, paper plates and towels, laundry and dishes detergent, and etc. Also a decent place to pick up small easy meals or snacks, although, with a somewhat lackluster food selection, this store definitely is not a replacement for a regular grocery store.

They finally got heat in the store. I could hardly ever stay more then 15 mins Because there was no heat. But now there is!!
