Walgreens has gone downhill recently. I understand staffing issues, but waiting days for a script to be filled is kind of ridiculous. Especially when you are sick and need treatments right away. I did call to express my concern and just got 1 word answers. Probably time to switch to a different pharmacy.

The worst pharmacy ever. Sorry, but everyone there is complete idiot. Try hiring people who are not mentally challenged. This has happened multiple times. Script called in a week ago. Walgreens called and said it was ready. Nope, still not ready after a week. Wasted my time and gas. Im switching to CVS. This store should close. The CEO of Walgreens, Tim Wentworth is an incompetent moron who should be fired. Take all of the loser employees with you.

Customer Service at Walgreens in West Sand Lake is very disappointing. I signed up for a flu shot and completed all the required information. After waiting 15 minutes after my appointment time, the pharmacist called me to the window and told me she was too busy to do a flu shot. I just saw her prepare 4 other flu shots while I was waiting but told me she was too busy to do my flu shot. We were still one hour away from their lunch break. There was four employees in the pharmacy working. I am a Walgreens customer. She told me to go to CVS. Really?

With all of the short staffing that is going on in healthcare, I feel people have given this pharmacy staff a bad bunch of reviews. I have never had them be rude. They have helped me get medications as fast or faster than other places. They run their entire time on duty…I truly feel this group of workers are doing their very best! Retail pharmacy is a tough job…they get screamed at and treated poorly every day!

They can’t fill a prescription in any semblance of a timely manner. Even when they say it will be ready in 20 minutes, it’s still not ready 2 hours later. And that was 6 hours after the doctor called it in. They never used to be this bad. Switching pharmacies immediately.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never a greeting, a smile, nothing. I don’t usually write reviews but this is my experience literally every time I go here. Reading past reviews it looks like I’m not the only one disappointed in this place. For instance, I picked up a prescription today and as I pulled up the female employee was just staring at me. Didn’t say anything even after I gave her my name. The only words she spoke in this interaction were “can you verify the address?” Not only that, but she didn’t tell me the total price for my prescription. Granted, I should have asked once I realized it would be like pulling teeth for her to utter more than 5 words to me, but it was $50! She should have been forthcoming with the total…if you don’t have people skills then don’t work in customer service. Strongly considering switching to a different pharmacy even though this Walgreens is in such as convenient location for me.

Never a warm greeting, never a smile, never a good bye. They can't even ask how many scripts your picking up. So many times I'm not given all my scripts. Terrible to think that was once a great place to do my scripts is dreaded due to their lack of people skills. I was just hung up on the phone after asking if my script was ready. They said yes. I said thank you and then a click. Nothing. Not your welcome. And it's just accepted there. This isn't just one instance of poor customer service.

There really is no excuse for how terrible the pharmacists/pharmacist employees are. If you don’t like where you work or how you’re treated, move on.I’ve experienced scripts not ready even when you call to check, insurance issues and being spoken down to or not even being spoken to at all.I switched to somewhere else because when your one and a half year old has a double ear infection and a fever of 103, you need your pharmacy at the very least, to be reliable. Will be forwarding this onto corporate as well.

Almost never had my children's scripts ready even days after receiving them or simply state that they don't have them even though I work at my children's doctor's office and know for a fact they have been sent. They kept telling me multiple times that they were ordering my daughter's Endo meds when in reality they were on backorder and wouldn't be able to get them at all when I could've been looking elsewhere for them. They gave me the wrong meds for TWO of my children (meds my kids haven't been on in a long time and they had no idea how they would've even filled them as there were no recent scripts for them). Lousy costumer service and two women in particular always act like your inconveniencing them.

Pharmacists never show up to work. They don't have a problem with letting sick people wait for them to roll in hours late if at all. This has happened twice now to me and will never use them or shop there again, don't waste your time, go anywhere else

Check your copays at this pharmacy. If they enter the wrong codes for your medications and you get fraudulently charged a copay they will refuse to refund you.Their practices are unethical and should be investigated.

I bought two at home COVID test sets at Walgreens in West Sand Lake, NY, on 12/22/21. When I opened the first test kit, one of the two tubes was empty. I came back to Walgreens in the morning of 12/23/21 to replace the defective kit. The manager told me they don’t accept the returns (I didn’t catch her name, but it was a middle-aged woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, and it was at 8:55 am). I asked if they expected me to pay for defective tests. Then she suggested I call the manufacturer and maybe they will send me a replacement. I explained I don’t have time to wait since holiday gatherings and traveling are upon us. She continued saying they have no way of knowing if I already used it. Are you serious? I proceeded taking the whole test out, showing sealed strips and other components. There was no way I would have been able to use it without fully opening other necessary kit parts. She got very upset and called me nasty. She implied I was the one lying and then called me nasty? She grabbed a new test kit and literally threw it on the counter. I think this was the worst customer service in my life, and I’ve dealt with negative people before. I will never step foot in that particular Walgreens or any Walgreens, for that matter.

They failed to notify us that the medication we picked up was not the full amount and then would not fill the rest of the prescription. This was their mistake and instead of making it right, they made it our problem. Horrible service! I’d go elsewhere.

I'm currently sitting in my cat outside of the pharmacy where I've been sitting for almost 30 minutes without moving. I'm stuck between 2 cars so I can't even leave if I wanted to. This is insane.

I've been going to this Walgreens for the last 3-4 years, and I've never had any issue with the staff or experience. Every time I swing by there, the people are always very good to me, and the prices seem reasonable if a bit on the higher end.

Huge rip off took my dog's medication from $15 - $85 overnight the pharmacist lied and blamed it on the drug company. Had the prescription transferred to Hannaford same drug company on the pills and it was $9 and has been for the past year.
