The folks that were there were very helpful. The store is neat, clean, and I like the idea that it's local. What wasn't good though, was that there were lights on display that they did not have in stock. Perhaps I could have ordered them. I don't know. I should have asked. But I needed them today.Long story short, five stars excluding this issue.

I was doing a job in the area and it was over an hour and 20 minutes from my house. It's really nice to find a place that carries some of the best materials. Great customer service and very organized.

Over charged. I mean at least they were open and able to fill a tank but... Charged for the wrong size tank.Not my job to know tank size.

Very helpful floor associates, was very happy with everything up until I went to check out. The cashier was rude, snippy and acted like I was bothering her. If that hadn't happened I'd give them all 5 stars!

Staff is rude I kept trying to ask for help but the employees kept ignoring me. I needed some wood for my outdoor project and a man who I think his name was Dan was very rude to me. It's one thing to work at a lumber yard when your 80 years old but don't reflect how miserable you are to paying customers. Just awful customer service and definitely will be spreading the word.... Shame.

Come here all the time for work and my own personal projects. Great selection of most anything you need - I have rarely had to go somewhere else for what I needed. Awesome staff, very friendly, and they remember me when I come in - makes me feel welcome. Great store, fair prices, and a good atmosphere. I've come here for a long time and will continue to do so.

Great people and Don place to shop. They have most things for us DYI’ers. The employees are well trained but also just like each other and a the customer feel like they are part of the “gang”.

I've been to a lot of hardware stores and this place had great customer service. I had the pleasure of getting assistance from a staff member named George. He was very professional and it was clear that he had knowledge of the job. George lead me in the right direction to find the product needed. I'll definitely return to this place again. It was a great experience.

Selection isn't great for a professional looking for on the shelf items. When I sent a female friend to get a type of screw tip, she was told what see wanted didn't exist and was further contradicted. I asked her to get me hex head screw tips for a impact, 1/4" bit holder. No cool, the dude needed help, she should have ignored him.

When they say "Ace is the place" in this case it's absolutely true. I just moved to the area and walked into Williams with a laundry list of needs. Found everything I needed!! And if I couldn't find it myself there were plenty of knowledgeable sales associates around to assist me. This will be my go to store in the future for all my building needs.

This place has just about everything you would want at a hardware store, as well as selling Windows and doors. Not as expansive extensive as home Depot. For example it doesn't have a whole appliance section. However, as a consequence is much more manageable. The staff are quite helpful then it really makes sense to be your first stop looking for something

My favorite place to get hardware, bird feed, paint and even work clothes. If you can, skip the big box hardware stores that will have you leave with a giant migraine and come here instead. Here you will actually enjoy shopping for supplies. Everything is laid out nicely and the staff is always super helpful and friendly. My happy place for starting projects!

It's a hardware store. It's okay. Nothing special. Showroom might wow a new customer. Staff are hit or miss. Some a great and some are terrible. Coupons don't work for anything. Just didn't have a great experience any time I've been.

Went 2 days in a row on the recommendation of a friend who shops at the Rhinebeck location. Went yesterday and was greeted poorly, seemed like I was bothering the sales person for asking where something was. Cashier then acted like they couldn’t be bothered to ring me up.Went back today for a couple of extras and was again greeted poorly and the lady at the checkout line was more rude than anything. Snippy with wise remarks and when I was done she quite literally flung the receipt at me.Also eye contact appears to not be a trait here. No one will look at you when they help you.Only positive thing was the younger kid who volunteered to help bring my larger purchase to my car yesterday.Store also appears cluttered.I’ll try the Rhinebeck location next.Don’t recommend the pleasant valley spot.

Unfortunately I never Like to be one to leave reviews yet a bad review at that. Today my father an elderly Hispanic man went to grab an item from the pleasant valley Williams page lumbar. My father was treated so poorly by the employees. My father wanted to buy ONE bag of peat moss and there was SIX pages outside my father asked not 1 not 2 but 3 Employees and each and every person stated that there were none in stuck but literally there was six of them outside my father received rudeness from the employees I can’t help to believe that it had to do with him being an Hispanic elderly man. There was other customers who were not Hispanic but elderly but yet treated with much respect. So I would just love to know why my father wasn’t given the same respect and treatment as the other customers that were present today. Such poor management no ones what they have in stock and clearly respect to customers are lost in this day. Smh

Nice clean and organized store. You really need to know the prices of what you're looking for. Some prices are a bit higher. The gentleman in paint needs to leave his why are you bothering attitude home. Never helpful the many times I have been there. I was looking for interior paint and I chose to go to Benjamin Williams. Spent over $2500.00. JS
