12/2023: My family met for a special family event and everyone was really wonderful; the service was excellent, the food was fantastic; we had a great time.8/2023: This is my parents favorite restaurant, the food has always been delicious and the service fantastic ... Tonight, 8/22 we went for dinner, an early dinner, and the waitress immediately had such an attitude ... We continued to be friendly all night, gave her a good tip .. but when I got home I was so sick from eating gluten; I told her several times that I am gluten free yet she gave me food with gluten.3/2023:Absolutely delicious fresh food! Raw oysters! Scallops on a bed of frissee grown on their farm, the food is amazing, mostly grown locally. We sat in front of a massive fireplace in a colonial house, and the staff is very kind. This restaurant is the best of the best!Dietary restrictions: They are unable to meet gluten free options

Have always heard good things and was excited to finally go for dinner but was very under whelmed. Part of our party came a little late and prior to everyone getting there the service was lacking but got better as the night went on. Our table wasn't provided with the specials prior to ordering our dinner but one of our guests did partly overhear another waitress at a different table mention them with the prices which is always nice.I ordered the fried chicken and it tasted like old oil and didn't eat most of the crust. The slaw and the mashed potatoes were great although a little more of the slaw would have been nice ! The rosemary paloma was also very good and notable. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and enjoyed the old time charm mixed with modern touches. Overall glad I went but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend for dinner, maybe drinks ?

We came here on a recent Sunday afternoon. Amazing oyster selection, friendly service, but man was it busy. We were seated at the table between kitchen and raw bar where we had the wait staff constantly running by us which made for a very hectic experience. And still, 4 stars for a great meal (lobster role and pasta dishes were excellent), and the dessert was absolutely outstanding. They have a strict reservation policy- you don’t show up they charge your card $25/person. Better be there…and we will certainly be back.

I hate to write bad reviews, but I think this is unavoidable. I am unable to write a good review for a dinner that was unedible at an upscale restaurant for $150. We ordered the cod special and carolina swordfish, and both were so salty that it was not edible. Waitress was nice and apologized but said she couldn't remove the charges as she didn't see how much we ate. I do not mind paying just disappointed at bad food. Scallops were good in Scallop salad. Clam chowder was salty as well, but after adding water, it was actually good. Service and atmosphere were good.

Beautiful setting for a perfect summer day whether you are indoor or outdoor seating. The place is stunning and the food is absolutely delicious. Loved the balance of the flavors without overpowering the main ingredient and touch of fresh ingredients from the garden overlooking the restaurant was delightful. Here are a few things I didn’t like - service was on top of my list. The waitress was rude and had a bit of attitude. She gave us no time to settle down, was gone most of the time and kept bringing dishes at the speed of light. Even though the restaurant is considered fine dining, I won’t recommend it to anyone for a special occasion unless you can inhale the food. Another issue I had was, there is no lounge or seating outside if you just want to hang out before or after dinner. You must order drinks if you want to use the seating area which I thought was ridiculous. We had to to ask multiple times for water and the waitress being MIA and no one cleaned up the table which was a huge mess when they cleaned up the appetizer and entrees. I will go. The restaurant failed to live up to my expectations and didn’t give me that warm welcome feel due to the service issues we had throughout our visit. What also amazed me was no one bothered to contact me either after this review.

We were here last week for dinner and you definitely need reservations. The cocktails were excellent as was the food, and the portions were large. We were rushed to order (we barely had the menus for a few minutes before the waiter was asking for our order) and we asked to order cocktails first. The steamed shellfish app was lovely and was large enough for an entree. It came with one small piece of toasted french bread, not enough for all of the lovely juices in the bowl. We asked for more and were given the house bread (it's kind of a gummy bread), which was disappointing. I had fish & chips, which came with steak fries (not what I expected), and when I asked to take the leftovers home, I discovered the next day that I was only given the sandwich portion, and not the fries. Hence only 4 stars.

Awesome date night spot with amazing food and super lively vibe. Cool bar scene and main dining area has a fireplace. Our group shared a bunch of appetizers and starters (oysters and lobster cocktail). The Clam Chowder was great and refreshingly had an appropriate portion of clams. The Big Eye Tuna, which also has spicy shrimp over vegetable fried rice was incredible and cooked perfectly. No question I'll be back. Highly recommend.

Walked into a packed house... Literally! It was Saturday night looking for good food. We didn't have reservations and hoping to snag bar seats but through the packed house we were able to get a side table after waiting around 25-30 mins.Appetizers were priced around $15-$20 with entrees between low $20's to mid $40's.Drinks were charged more than what the menu stated but that wasn't discovered until after we left. (Hence the loss of 1 star).Drinks were strong but great tasting. 5 out of 5 stars.Food was spot on. Ahi Tuna, fried chicken, calamari, oysters. Cooked to perfection. Some dishes were small in portion whereas others were large.Service was fabulous. Tap water was always around. Drinks were refilled. And someone was always nearby asking how the food was.Atmosphere was rocking. Plenty of people laughing, mingling, and having a good. Plus outside there was a great bonfire going on where you can sit and talk with others around you.Definitely a place well worth a visit, just double check the prices charged.Parking: There's plenty of parking around the property.

The setting sets the tone for the whole experience. White farmhouse with ample porch and a green house and terrace style planting in the back. The bread is AMAZING with soft butter simply served as you sit. Drink options are great with a little of everything and great tasting original cocktails. We had the fresh oysters, scallops and crab cakes to start and everything was brought out with great timing and appropriate silverware. The main course we had the swordfish, tuna and steak. All well executed and minor new touches that made each dish unique. We ended with desert and it was the best tasting bread pudding I've ever had. The price was fair, seating comfy and ample parking. I can't say enough good things. Also, the service was friendly and we were impressed with the bus boy who was running around making sure all tables were clean. Would 100% recommend and I'm definitely going back.

Came for New Years Day brunch/lunch. My husband and I mistakenly went to their Tarrytown location when we were meant to meet my parents at this one. The manager was super understanding and gave us the flexibility to make our way there nearly 40m after our intended reservation. Even went above and beyond to provide my parents with some shrimp cocktails on the house to keep them occupied. I should point out that they likely also had one of the best tables in the place, as they were seated right by the roaring fire. Needless to say, it has a very nice ambiance inside and was bustling. Got the carrot-tini, which was delicious and not too sweet. Then a mix of fresh oysters and the salmon on cedar plank, both were great. Hubby got the lobster and polenta. Forget what the rest got but it was all good. Only negative is that they can’t make substitutions for any sides so are limited in that way.

Delicious food - fresh and locally sourced, sustainable, so I guess that's even better! Service was a bit slow, not that we were in a rush (maybe for drinks, though!), and we were at a deuce that was in the middle of two other deuces. The server offered the tables on both sides of us free dessert, but must have ran out when it came to us. Haha. Not that we had any room for it, but the offer would have been nice. Would def go back.

Lovely dining experience. Good service, quality ingredients, prepared perfectly. Large beverage list especially whiskeys. Highly recommend. Pictures don't do it justice, lighting was dim and I didn't want to be that guy taking crazy pictures.

Great place, very authentic and also very cozy. Delicious food, but it comes very very slow. Be prepared for a long wait before you get to eat something. Service is very friendly though. Good selection of craft beer, and the level of noise is quite tolerable. Good place to talk & eat.

This place is a gem and local treasure. True farm to table, you can see much of the farm right when you pull in. The setting has so much charm…some benches outside with a little porch that had both kids and pets (dog friendly outside!) having a blast. There’s a little farm stand/market/store that sells everything from meats to sweets. (When we were there they had outrageous ribs from their weekly bbq).)The dining experience is high class but the atmosphere is calm, cool, casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of great menu options from the land and sea as well as great salads. (Don’t skimp on the house made facaccia that comes out free before the meal, it’s amazing!) Same with the desserts…all great. As for service, excellent! Staff was super attentive to everyone’s needs.Just great all around and highly recommend for a big occasion or even just a “date night”.

OMG. The homemade brisket and short ribs (made on site in a smokehouse) are the best I have ever tasted. This place is an hour drive from my house and I would keep coming back even if it was 5 hours away! It's THAT DELICIOUS. No joke. The best brisket. The best short ribs. THE BEST!!!!!

very nice restaurant with fresh food made to order. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. Salads and entrees are all very good accompanied with a very nice wine list. The desserts are also very good. There is also a nice market attached to the restaurant where you can purchase fresh food, meats, fish, and vegetables.

This place is special. If you're looking for a rustic New England vibe, this is it. Beautiful farm grounds, wild flowers and charming white cottagey house. The inside is equally rustic. The food is excellent, from the bread, the hand crafted drinks to the entres. The service wasn't just good, it was impeccable. We went really early so maybe that's why the service was so great. The serving sizes are good. We shared the steamers and had the sea bass and fried chicken entrees, followed by a Panna cotta and espresso. Very enjoyable. Definitely will return.Parking: Park on the gravel driveway or go to the overflow parking area.
