We have been coming here for years during the summer because the surrounding scenery is gorgeous. It's the perfect place for a little country ice cream shop/local dairy store. There is nothing better than knowing where your food comes from, and seeing the people who are involved in the process. Places like this are a gem.

I am only giving this three stars because I love the glass jars, that is hard to find. However, the customer service is terrible. The two KIDS running the register have no clue what customer service is. The girl was very rude to my son. We did not buy half of what we were going to, nor will we be back. With the cost of everything going up businesses better start understanding the art of customer service. As of now, people still have choices.

Go to the store. They've got a much larger selection of items and the service is far friendlier than if you buy at the Glens Falls Farmers Market. Plus, it's a beautiful drive. Their seasonably available eggnog is amazing, and I love their chocolate milk, too (great in coffee!). Other items I've bought there (produced not by them, but still locally) have been maple candy, yogurt, and cheese curds. All recommended. As well, they sell local meat, maple syrup, and cheese. Don't forget to save your empty glass bottles to return for the deposit.

The best milk and ice cream just about anywhere. My favorite place to sneak a waffle cone and many flavors of awesome ice cream made right there. The staff are always nice and helpful! You can also get milk or other products from the honesty till when outside hours a bit. Cash only here, so come ready! No ATM

Excellent ice cream stand and dairy store. If you are in the area and don't stop here you will be missing out on a special treat... you can not get ice cream fresher or more flavorful than this anywhere in the area, and the dairy products in the store are great too! They have fresh milk and a variety of cheeses and tubs of ice cream to go in the store. Stop by you will not be disappointed!

Tasty local product with a nice staff. It's quite a a pretty drive and well worth it. They also have products from other local producers. They have some local made maple syrup, peanut butter, yogurt, and other things.

My son summed it up best, half-apologizing for his fourth bowl of cereal, "Sorry, cereal's a whole new experience with this milk." I have to agree. I usually stop at 2 cups of coffee, but with this half and half, I can hardly stop at 4. Everything they make is so much better than other brands.

Go visit this place!! Fresh home made ice cream! All dairy you can get and want it organic fresh!! Great friendly staff!! Loved it. We were on a week long vacation 10 miles away from this place and went there almost every evening!!

Delicious locally produced ice cream, good variety of flavors and size for purchase or enjoy on the spot at the outdoor tables. Tasty fresh milk and other dairy products. Other locally produced eggs and baked goods also on sale. Highly recommended if in the area.

They have very good ice cream that is made on site. the variety of flavors is more than enough to satisfy any ice cream aficionado and the prices are very reasonable. It's worth a side trip or a stop along the way if you're heading down route 30. the butter pecan is smooth and creamy and the black raspberry is very refreshing. I wish the cones were not the pre-made ones but that is the only feedback I would give. If you stop in the store you can pick up a pint or quart to go as well.

Looking for some of the best ice cream, not only locally, but anywhere? Check out Battenkill! Everything I have tasted is delicious. And the farm setting is so serene. They are cash only, which is normally a pet peeve of mine, but they are worth going to the ATM for.

Worth the drive to battenkill !!!! Their dairy is homemade right there and is one of the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted!!! So smooth and stands out from other ice creams. To die for! Their chocolate milk is also so freaking good you have to get it! It’s so thick and creamy! What a great and neat place to check out in upstate ny. They have other baked goods and honey and jams there as well. Their milk and ice cream is hands down the best in upstate it’s so worth the drive.

Hey when everything's fine they're half and half is pretty good. Now more than once I found they're half and half to be "super chunk" which I find very I find very. The market I get it from replace it easily and claims that it's a common occurrence with this creamery.My advice open the bottle take a sniff before you buy it

You can taste the happiness.If you haven't stopped into their store to try their ice cream - GO! It's next to the Salem Art Park so you're off to an adventure.Their products are creamy, tasty, and EVERYTHING you expect from the "perfect" dairy.Luckily, our farmer's market and specialty shops carry their milk, butter, and creams. I happily grab what I can for my coffee in sub of half and half any day and trust me, you won't be disappointed.

This place is real and great. Local, artisan, cash only. They have their own great milk and their own great ice cream. They also carry other good products from local artisan producers. This store is way out of the way and in the country, hardly anything for miles around. You have to drive to get there, but that's also part of the charm. And it's well worth the drive. They have something great and they know it so bring cash, they don't accept credit cards.

My favorite ice cream spot! Absolutely dreamy creamy dairy-forward ice cream, as you might expect from a creamery. Make sure to visit the cows! The chocolate milk is also excellent. The staff are always really sweet. Last I was there it was cash or check only, so come prepared. (And the serving sizes are larger than you might be used to if you're coming from the city!)

My in laws come here for their daily products. They brought us along today. The coffee ice cream was amazing. The serving sizes are huge. Small is more than enough for me and kept me full for hours. Great quality for a low price. I'm so jealous I don't have places like this in N.Va

This ice cream was top notch, but we almost didn't get to enjoy it because we didn't know it was cash only!!! A nice man wearing the same camo cargo shorts as my husband complete with identical rips saved the day and bought our ice cream!!! Definitely worth a drive out, but just make sure to bring cash.

Was just there a couple of weeks ago. Brought me back to when I lived on our little farm. Your milk taste like our milk when we would scoop it out by the jug! I will be returning with my niece & great nephews. Best milk ever!☆☆☆☆☆
