I've been in there 3 different times to get breakfast sausage and every time it's been on the shelf with the sell by date already passed. As a consumer I should not have to check the dates on things I buy. Last time when I mentioned it to one of the meat dept employees, he got kinda snotty with me. I'm sorry I'm doing your job for you...

Great place for saving. This location is a little older and more run down than others nearby in Olean, Bradford, and Jamestown. Still has great bargains and excellent quality.

90 bux. Im more than set for the month. This Save a lot is so clean,spacious,and ALL the employees are wonderful. I can follow my special diet and not break the bank. It sets back in from the main drag. So convenient. I doubt ill shop anywhere else! Had i gotten the same at say Wegmans,it would have been well over double that. Look at: hoisin chicken with cauliflower casserole and cottage cheese w greens. Yummage overload.....👍🏻💗heart healthy and 4bux vs 14 bux....a stress reliever for the heart and the wallet!

This is how all the stores should be. If they don't have boxes to put your purchase in, no worries, they don't charge for a bag. You still have to bag it yourself. I love bagging my own food because I can pack the cold stuff together and not have to worry about it for the ride home. Thank you management. This is one important detail that brings people back to the store.

Store is pretty much clean and managed, inventory is moved about quite often inside. Store is heavily visited by the locals due to the real low prices and food deals. They don't carry a numerous amount of brand names, but it's enough to get your household by. They do have a large variety of fresh meat products in stock. All the employess are quite friendly and service is pretty great at all times.

Nice grocery store. Decent variety. Lots of food and other amenities. Cat litter, detergents, paper plates, etc. Great produce. Lots of canned goods. Deli meats, hot dogs and fresh meats. Beverages, some beers and wine. Icecreams, milk, eggs.and cheese. Good selection of breads and pastries. Cereals and cereal bars. Good frozen section.

Good prices on items they stock. Most of what they have consists of basics staple items. Veggies, Fruit and Meats are fresh and displayed well. We usually begin our shopping there and pick up the rest elsewhere because if their prices.

I had to piss really badly and there was no bathroom in the entire place. I was freezing my balls off walking around in the store. Get a bathroom and warm the place up for some advice. The automatic doors were not so automatic and I almost ran into it thinking it was gonna open for me. Not sure how the groceries are though because I just had to piss.

Best black to buy Bread,Coffee .Milk, Cereal, and other stuff there. It's a good add to Salamanca. But if you live outside of Salamanca ,Such as Cattaraugus and Little Valley it's the closest Store and fairly priced Store just a bit of a travel from there..

Very very nice manager and awesome low prices in the whole store including the meat department. From 1 to 10 I'd rate it 12. Owner is very polite and and will order anything that the wearhouse carries all the way to pallets. John Hedlund has been in business for over 30 years and owned IGA which all those stores including the warehouse. That's when he said I own the building and was approached by SAVE-A-LOT to be a cooperate owner and operator. He now owns 4 SAVE-A-LOT stores in Pennsylvania and New York.

I've been shopping at Save-A-Lot in Salamanca for the last couple of years they have great savings I shop for my mother-in-law in my family and with the money I save I get to do other things. More important is the friendly staff there it's Christmas time everyone has a smile on their face everyone saying Merry Christmas they make me feel like I'm part of a community and for that I'm grateful Merry Christmas!!!
