I have been taking my little dog Chance there for 8 years. They do an excellent job grooming him, every single time. The staff is really genuinely nice and professional at the same time. AMAZING!The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. I’ve been taking my Goldendoodle Martin here since he was a puppy & they have consistently been nothing short of excellent. Benjamin the Groomer is an absolute artist & professional - every time Martin has gotten a grooming or a bath I receive endless compliments from family & strangers on the street. If you’re looking for a family owned pet store where the service is impeccable & the results back them up - this is the place for you. Would rank above 5 starts if possible!

I called harbor pets yesterday with a grooming emergency. We explained that our dog is the ring bearer for our family wedding this weekend, and told them that she’d accidentally got out in the yard and ran into mud, and a nest of ticks! To our luck, the groomer, Ben, was able to squeeze us in the same day, and they even gave her a quick trim! He was very attentive during the consult, and she came out so cute. We knew that our pet was in good hands when he’d explained to us that they don’t perform anything that our pet is uncomfortable with or doesn’t like. We didn’t mind paying extra since our dog is always in the yard and tangles very quickly! When leaving, we booked appointments for the remainder of summer with the friendly reception! We have a 1 year old labradoodle who very afraid of the groomers especially the blow dryer. He also has crazy wild doodle hair. We have not been able to find a good groomer out east until now. Benjamin did the most incredible job with Duke and he looks phenomenal. He took his time and even called me to let me know he needed extra time in order to make Duke feel comfortable. We are so happy and grateful. We couldn’t recommend harbor pets more.

Brought our golden here for a grooming and they did a really beautiful job on him. I was worried about his coat since it was very matted and I had read thst with dogs with an undercoat it’s important not to cut too much or it won’t grow back correctly - Will definitely be back .

First time drop off for bath and blow out. 7 hours when was told 2 to 3 hours.Asked to trim hair under her chin and they did not. (Getting wet when drinking) Told them NOT to cut around her eyes and they did. Ask for a green bow for st patty day and they gave a pink one. Little things matter plus a Really odd Creepy feeling in store. Old man not wearing full mask.

Great store for all sorts of pet supplies-although IMHO, mostly dogs and cats. Excellent grooming services and quality animal products are sold. I would highly recommend. Convenient parking.Update: summer parking is extremely limited. This is not a reflection on the business but you should get there at opening time to get a nearby parking spot. Still has extraordinary grooming for your pet.

This was the worst haircut my golden has ever received. Not only did they completely shave him but it also was not evenly cut.The haircut took longer than expected and instead of calling me to let me know there was a delay, they had me make 3 separate trips to try and pick him up. Each time they said it would be another 30 minutes. Ended up wasting a couple hours trying to go pick up my dog.Lastly, it was $175 for a standard cut.

Groomer has no knowledge of breed standards.My Golden Retriever went in for a bath and furminating only .The groomer took off all his "Feathers!"So upset.he was told not to cut anything just shed out by brushing.I'm sad!
