Had a recent installation of a whole house generator w/ ATS, load contrl (X2) and complete electrical service panel upgrade. as well as integrated my current solar panel array into the upgrade. The installation crew (both teams) were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My project manger (Tom) was a true professional and master of his craft. Despite the fact that my project suffered a completion delay, a suitable solution was agreed upon and IPSI followed thru with every obligation. Every once in a while you find a business that genuinely cares about their customers.3 yrs after installation, we have a sense of relief knowing the system works as designed EVERY time the power goes out. One less worry, piece of mind investments are the best.

I am not one to write reviews but I do reference them when I am looking for larger projects to be done and wanted to add to the positive reviews for those trying to make the big decision as we did.I had 3 different companies out to meet with and get quotes. I will not say anything negative about the others, but I will say that when Dave from IPSI stopped out, he stood out from the rest. He was knowledgeable and was able to help answer the many questions that I had to throw at him. He was also great after he left when I would call or text with even more questions after our meeting and in turn that helped guide my wife and I to the right generator for us. I will also give credit where it is due, a tip of the cap to his team; Emily, Chris, Alex and Steve. Job well done! From arrival to departure, courteous and professional. They all earned the 5* rating.A little bit about our job. I shared a couple photos for reference. Our generator went in a spot that had to be cut into the slope of our yard and a box had to be built out to place the "Genpad." The crew did a phenomenal job building that out, making sure it was centered correctly and level. All things homeowners would expect, but could easily be overlooked or disregarded. I also requested our lines to be buried for aesthetic reasons. (Pictured) Again, his crew worked hard to make sure everything was exactly as it should and the hard work is greatly appreciated by our family.We went back and forth on this investment for a few years. We now have the peace of mind we have wanted for the more frequent outages that we seem to be having. Mark and I are very pleased with the service received from IPSI. Recently, after a routine service check it was noted our generator was sinking into the ground. The recommendation was to lift it, take it off the pressure treated wood it was originally placed on and place it on a gen-pad.The work was completed and finished professionally. Had a Kohler generator installed today. Have to say this was one of the best improvements we have made to our home. I don't like doing negative reviews especially for a local, veteran-owned business. However, this is important for you if you are considering solar projects with this company.I was contacted by IPSI Generators late April 2023 after expressing interest in solar through EnergySage. After a few emails back and forth, which involved sending 12 months of my energy bill, Dave sent me an initial quote for the solar project. We made an appointment for him to come to my house to explain the steps involved; he was professional and courteous. My wife was impressed and wanted to proceed, but we had to wait for Dave to complete the roof assessment. After a week of no communication, I emailed Dave and Kristin but received no response. A month later, my wife called Dave, who claimed to have sent an updated quote we never received. Despite reaching out multiple times to both Dave and Kristin, we didn't hear back from them. It's frustrating that they were the first to respond and presented well, yet they walked away without any communication. As a result, we decided to give up on their solar services.

The entire process exceeded my expectations. The sales process was great. IPSI was quick to respond, answered all my questions, and came out nearly immediately. Unlike everywhere else I called, IPSI was not only able to get me what I feel was a great price, IPSI was able to actually get me a generator in a quick turnaround. The next fastest place couldn’t get me a unit of a smaller until October (10 months from the date I purchased). We completed the sales process right in my kitchen. It could not have been easier. The entire sales process was great.Regarding the installation, that was even better than the sales process – if that’s possible. The team was sensitive to my family’s unique health needs and limited the number of people working in my home to one except for cases where a second pair of hands were needed. All work was completed quickly and extremely neatly. This is not often the case when people work in your home. They actually left the areas in better condition than I gave it to them. Most importantly, the team was able to give me an approximate schedule of the work day and regularly checked in to let me know how it was progressing. Upon completion of the work, everything was explained and then demonstrated to me clearly. All questions I asked were well answered. Everyone that worked on the job was courteous not only to me and my family, but to their co-workers.In all, I could not have asked for a better experience with IPSI. As a final comment, I feel that the quality of your team’s work was only exceeded by their level of professionalism. Please extend my sincere thanks.If anyone is considering purchasing a whole house generator, I can wholeheartedly recommend IPSI.

The crew from IPSI ( Mike, Adam and Chris) installed a 10 KW Generac, natural gas backup generator at my home yesterday. The whole crew was very professional and explained what was going to happen before starting. They kept me informed during the installation process. They were very professional and did neat and clean work. Mike took time at the end to explain and show me how the system worked and what to expect during a power outage. Mike made sure everything in my home worked properly after the electric was shut down and restarted during the installation process.He explained the warranty, emergency, and annual services that IPSI provides.I would recommend IPSI if you are considering a backup generator.Jim

Our Install crew of Mike, Chris, Alex, Scott and Lutrell worked like a well oiled machine. They had various times working with the company, yet worked very well together.I would check parodically the progress and they would not hesitate to explain where they were and what they were doing. Mike and Chris had the most knowledge and executed precisely, and directed the other team members properly to help execute the tasks at hand.They had nicked the Sprinkler System water line and immediately told and showed us the problem. They immediately took a course of actions to remedy the problem and showed us the results.The estimated time was meet if not exceeded. At the end we were given a through walk thru of how the system would function and expectations. They cleaned up the area and made it better than it looked before!During the final walk through of how the system worked, we noticed a flaw on the front panel. It was noted in their notes. The next day, after I had left a message about the downstairs Stove not being lit, Adam came by and lit the Stove, while here he told us of how they will resolve the issue with the front panel.This was our second System, the other was at our last home.Great Product, we had no reservations about doing it again.Thank You,Lawrence & Mariann Knox

When phoning about an ad for Generac, I was given the phone number for the local supplier which everyone hears about from the constant advertising. We talked with them and were left unimpressed so I phoned IPSI, partly because they were 8 minutes away from our house and because of the amazing reviews. An appointment was arranged with Dave and we felt immediately comfortable with him. He gave us options, including a smaller and less expensive Kohler unit. He also left us with literature and a printed quote. Both of these facts weren't part of the former salesman's presentation. We loved that we were talking with the owner of the company who is a vet and obviously, very dedicated to his business. During a follow up call with the first salesman, I mentioned that their price was higher and his response was "we have a large overhead!" What??!! Everything went as planned and thanks to Mike, Chris and Alex, the installation looks perfect which took some effort in a 160 year old house! They dug some perennials that were in their way, placed them in the shade and you'd never even know they were moved. They offered updates along the way and Mike even corrected a problem that he detected in our sub panel. All in all, I can't imagine a better process, so if you're considering a generator, please do yourself a favor and call IPSI!

Dave, the owner, came out for an initial estimate. Was quick, efficient and there was no pressure after the estimate.Due to pandemic backlogs we had to wait several months for our installation but once the time came, the crew from IPSI came in and were very thoughtful about our needs running an animal hospital as they did their work. The unit runs beautifully and we can run the whole hospital including all of the diagnostics from the generator.I thank Dave and all of the folks at IPSI for a wonderful experience and highly recommend them.

If you are in the market for a standby generator, I would definitely give IPSI a call. After talking with friends who had not so great experiences with other companies, I chose to give IPSI a call. Dave Pschierer came out and talked with me, asked me what I was looking for, (whole house or partial) what my needs might be during a power outage. He then gave me some options and explained the pros and cons of each. No hard sell, just facts. I found him very easy to work with. After thinking on it for a while (about a day), I called Dave back and pulled the trigger. From that point on it was seamless. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and with everything needed for the job. The team consisted of Mike, Emily, Steve, and Alex. They introduced themselves, checked out the yard and basement and went right to work. Very smooth, very efficient, very experienced. They kept me in the loop, would check with me every so often to see if I was happy with the job as it was moving along. Zero problems, no surprises. They treated my house and yard as if it was theirs. You could tell they cared. This crew was great. When done, the generator was tested. Mike took the time to explain all its functions to me. He was patient and thorough. Bottom line, I'm very happy with my choice. So, if you're thinking of getting one, I would definitely give these guys a call. This is what they do.
