Stopped here for lunch in early spring. I had a Turkey Club, the wife had a veggie sub and the boy had a hot dog and fries. All were plenty of food for us. The turkey club was gigantic and I couldn't even finish it. The wife had the same issue and we brought our lunch home to eat for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms were tidy but not immaculate. The seating was dinner style and the place had plenty of room. I would recommend this place if you're looking for quick yummy sandwiches.

I've been ordering from here for years..the pizza has greatly improved over the years. I usually order take out and my order is always ready when they say and always hot. The big beast sub is my favorite and the poutine. My daughter likes their deli subs..they delivery locally within a reasonable amount of time. Inside has what i call pizza shop/diner style seating...the staff has always been friendly

Sandy’s Deli is one Rouses Point’s original local staple. From ordering here and small gatherings in my early childhood, to visiting for the week/weekend to have as a lunch snack, it has always been good.Ordered a Medium Buffalo Chicken Pizza which has a ranch base but they could swap it with my preferred blue cheese. The pizza sizes range from S-10”, M-12” and L-14”. They have a decent sized menu ranging from pizzas, fresh cut deli meats, subs/grinders, snacks/desserts, and deli items. This has to be my favorite pizza restaurant in town. It’s a quaint shop, right on Lake Street, next to city hall and across from the post office/car wash. They’ve been in business for a long time. If you’re looking for a quality pizza, great and relatively quick service, or other deli items, I’d choose Sandy’s Deli. Thank you for my lunch and for sticking around all these years!Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic doors but it is in the first floor.

Tonight my family and I ordered 50 wings from Sandy’s we asked for 25 to be mild and 25 to be sweet Asian chili sauce. They agreed to the order then called and said they couldn’t put the Asian sauce on half and asked if we wanted the sauce on the side. We said yes. This added on an extra 35 minute wait for the food and we are right down the road. When we got our food we thought there would be just the Asian chili sauce on the side and the other 25 would be covered in mild sauce. Oh no that’s not what happened they gave us fried chicken and two little cups of sauce one of each flavor. Pictures of the chicken and the sauce.

I had the poutine with extra cheese and gravy and the beast sandwich. Both were absolutely amazing highly recommend. I would forgo the extra gravy as it wasn’t necessary.

The pizza is good I'm not fond of the wings and normally i would've given them at least 3 stars bc the service is on par with that. However i bought one of their drinks out of the cooler and when i got to where i was going looked at the best buy date. It was best buy 7/12/2018. We are in jan 2019. I called and let them know and asked them to check the others. They told me i could stop I for a drink to replace mine whenever. Went in last night ( a day later) and noticed the dusters lemonades were there. I thought maybe i just got a bad one and started checking the dates. They ALL expired july 7 2018. Needless to say i picked something else and let them know again and i got a look of whatever from one person and the other was on the phone. Please check the dates on your drinks before you buy.

I discovered this place about a month ago and it's now my favorite place get subs. I still need to try the pizza but the subs are so good, it's hard to not order one. Great food and great people. I highly recommend it.

Had the chef's salad and fish sandwich and everything was fresh and tasty. The chef's salad was generous in portion and in choice of vegetables cut in fine pieces. The fish sandwich had a thick filet of haddock in crunchy batter that was fried without being greasy. The restaurant is nostalgic 80s and very clean. The staff were attentive and welcoming in a casual way. The only caveat for me was the use of plastic utensils and plastic-packaged salad dressing, but it is a deli after all. However their takeout boxes are cardboard. Note that they do not serve coffee. I would go back. There were enough vegetarian choices also.*update: I ordered again, while self-isolating and on the third order, my order was cancelled after 30 minutes. It was midweek, same time as last and yet 🤷🏻‍♀️. It's not as if I could go out and get food... so I'm a bit underwhelmed here.Vegetarian options: Salads, cheese pizzas, vegetarian and fish sandwiches for the non-vegan.

The subs here are absolutely huge. The place is always neat and clean. Very friendly people.There other food is delicious too.If.you haven't ordered from here please do so. You will be very satisfied and than return again and again like I do. I live in Vermont and when I go to NY two or three times a month I always stop here. Believe me whatever you order you will have enough food left for at least two more meals. ENJOY...

I like the idea of ordering from the app but I find there’s not enough information to know what you’re actually getting. We order subs most of the time and I always believed subs have standard toppings. And if you want something extra you add it for a price.! No problem right?First one, I’ll start with Rueben sub: Corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. That’s a Rueben.!! In this case, no sauerkraut and that means it’s not a Rueben. But I paid for a Rueben.!Second one, Chicken tender sub: I go back to my understanding that subs have standard toppings. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo and cheese. Unless the individual requested differently. I asked for extra cheese and if I wouldn’t have done that I would have received 2 pieces of chicken on a roll.!! Not too happy about that.!I was not a fan with my order this time. I’m sure with more information on your menu it would make things more clear. But if I have to pay for typical sub toppings, for me it wouldn’t be worth ordering again.2 out of the 4 sub I ordered were not what we thought we were asking for.

Recently found this place. We live in isle la motte VT so not a ton of options. But we have had food here about 5 times now and love it every time. Best pizza in town (way better than Gino’s, Angelos or harborside in VT imo). We tried the wings once and i loved them and thought they were good. I usually get a BLT and everything tastes. Hubby loves there Ruben wrap. Tried poutine once and glad to see it was authentic with curd!

I've been ordering food here off and on for longer then 8 years, the food has gone downhill. The pizzas still really good. ordered a burger a few days ago and you could just tell it was a frozen burger. Amazing staff though!

We had some sandwiches there last week and could not finish them. They tasted really funny. The next day we both had horrible stomach problems. When I called and spoke to the owner and requested a refund, we still had two half subs we couldn't eat.We were told there was nothing wrong with the food and best she could do was 10 percent off the next order. No thanks I couldn't handle another episode like thatI thought it was a random occurrence until talking to other people and everyone I know has been sick from their food at some point. And noone has ever received a refund.Surely that was coincidence, until I looked at the reviews and all the other people that were poisoned and then robbed when they complained.I don't know who she knows in the health dept but someone needs to do something before they kill someone with their food.Even out of date drinks.I had heard rumors they don't throw out expire stuff but use it anyways, and thought it was just that rumors. But the reviews here show a much scarier picture. It is long standing well known problem and the owners don't care who they kill. As long as they get your money, they don't care what happens to youSomeone please help

TLDR: Took money for food we were not satisfied with and didn’t eat, no refund. Thieves.Ordered 50 wings as usual and got 60 tiny desiccated sad pieces of chicken, not the jumbo wings we normally got. Went back for a refund and was told they were fine and they refused to do anything other than offer 10% off the next order. Staff put their hands in our food and ripped the chicken apart to try and demonstrate it had plenty of meat. The wings were mostly bone the meat was dried out, certainly not fresh. They acknowledged that the wings were not what they normally sold, but still no refund and no forewarning about the loss in quality. Do not expect consistent food and certainly not decent customer service. They basically stole $50 from me since I didn’t even take the wings after the staff had their hands in them. Was a customer for over a year.... never again.

Great pizza. They got a fun little affordable mini pizza that is very similar to an old school Pizza Hut Pizza back when Pizza Hut was actually good. Fun little sassy signs inside. Worth a try.

I just started working there and i was running late because my daughter had an appointment because she's sick I called them at 4:02 I know my shift was at 4:00 o'clock and my phone was in the car and I called them as soon as could and I told them I was running late and they said they didn't care that my daughter was sick and told me I was lying it was the fact I called 2 minutes after my shift started I don't recommend working there if u have a family to take care of they will send u home so u can't make money to provide I'm disappointed that sandys is going down hill like this maybe its why she can't keep drivers for the business. Very rude and unfair to employees

I just had a procedure done so I figured I would get a few large pizzas and 50 wings for me and my teens to eat so I wouldn't have to cook for a couple days. I didn't remember ever getting pizza from sandy's deli so I figured I would try it. Right off we knew something was off with both( pizza was super super greasy, with a funny taste, and wings tasted way off), but we just thought it wasn't as good as the rest of the pizza around. When we finished eating, it went into the fridge for the next day. The next day, everyone was having bowel issues in the morning so I looked at the wing sauce which turned brown and there was mold on the bottom of one of the pizzas! Really wish I would of checked the food before we ate it, but for 90 dollars should we really have to? I'm a local, but I don't think I am ever going to this establishment for anything ever again.

I'm not going to describe the horrendous experience we had with the service and meal from this clip joint. I strongly suggest that if you are travelling around Lake Champlain, hold your appetites for "Hero's Welcome" on North Hero Island. They have delicious food fare, a friendly staff, a beautiful view of the lake, and a fantastic gift shop!
