I have brought my second dog to Liberty and Don. My previous dog Toby loved going there and anticipated each time. I feel like I could have just opened the car door and he'd just go in without me, for boarding or daycare. My current dog is a rescue 4 yr old and I wasn't sure how she'd do but I talked to Don about it and he assured me he'd check/observe her interaction with the small group and advise me. Sophie seems excited to go daycare and when boarding and she has been well behaved at the dog park with the small dogs. In the past I tried a larger chain and while the room was large and spacious, there were up charges for one on one play time. Dons staff seem to interact with the dogs and as my vet advised.... Dogs are dogs "not humans" and do not need to be entertained all the time. I recommend Liberty .....

Just heard you are closing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your loved ones. You will be missed.We have had 3 different dogs stay with Don over 20 years. The staff there have always cared for our dog well and they were always happy and content when we picked them up. We had tried several others when Liberty was full and Liberty is the best.

Don knows my dogs personality and temperament perfectly. My pups always come home smelling clean .the only con I would say is that it's sometimes difficult to get ahold of someone to check on my pups while we're away. I do realize however, they take precedence in caring for the fur babies before the phone.My dogs can't wait to get there!

They took great care of our pup the first time we boarded her. Invited us to bring her up for a visit the week before. They have a quiet space for those dogs who are bothered by loud barking. I'm very comfortable leaving my dog with them while I am traveling.

We have boarded there several times in the past because they have they have cheap rates. After our last visit, I am not leaving my dog(s) there anymore. I had to carry our new dog into the back because she was scared and I got to see how dirty it is back there. Very unimpressed and it was just gross. The dirty lobby should have been an indicator. Whenever it comes time to pay, they always seem to conveniently forget to credit your initial deposit when calculating the total. Today was no different. There have been times that I had to question the bill because it was incorrectly totaled out, and to their benefit of course. We had to come home early from vacation this time. Of course, since we didn't call far enough in advance, they billed us anyway and wouldn't even give a partial credit. Their Sunday pickup policy is kind of a scam too. They are only open from 3-6 for pickup. So they make you wait all day to pick up your pet, on the day that everyone comes home from wherever they went, and of course charge you for that day too. Never felt really comfortable leaving my dogs there, so going to find somewhere else and just pay the extra $$$ for peace of mind.

Our 9-year-old lab mix has been a repeat customer at Liberty since he was a puppy. Stays have ranged from overnights to ten days. He gets so worked up with happy anticipation when we head over to Liberty he actually MOANS. He loves the free play time outside with his buddies, and he comes home exhausted. The staff is sensitive and relaxed, the care consistent, and we feel very lucky to have this resource in our neck of the woods.

Home like, calm dog boarding, and day care ,staff is great they love dogs and you can tell by the way they interact with them. I would recommend them for day care and boarding

Took a tour, met the owner and Lucy stayed for doggie daycare. They have separate groups for different sizes and activity levels.

I've had several friends who left their dogs there and the dogs lost substantial weight (over 1lb per day) and came back injured, feverish, infected, and extremely dirty from neglect.

Great staff and location. I’ve left my dog at other places and will again if I need to but Liberty Canine is ALWAYS the first place I call.

staff really cares for dogs and any other pet boarded there. Don't, the owner, knows dogs and how to care for them. several fenced in yards for day care and boarding dogs' playtimes
