We came here to buy flies and ask for a few tips for fishing in the area. Joe, the owner, was knowledgeable, kind, and did NOT want to oversell us items. The flies he makes and sold to us helped us catch a beautiful brown and a beautiful brookie (among others). If I were ever in the area again this store would be my go to!

Stopped in today for some info and some flies. Jim was a very friendly and helpful person. What really set this apart was his customer service. We left and went to the spot he recommended. While there Jim pulled up in his car to hand deliver 2 flies we bought and were left in the store. Unbelievable. Will be a customer for life!

I caught Trout yesterday (6/9/19) on the Esopus Creek using advice and flies from Catskill flies that they provided in fall 2018. Nothing else worked but the isonychia wet fly had FISH ON on the first cast. Amazing. Thanks Catskill Flies!

The only outfitter in the neighborhood worth visiting. Joe, Andre, and Joseph the Young Guide are expert fly fishermen who are friendly, considerate, and mindful of client's needs, abilities, and budget. Do not go to any other outfitter in the Roscoe area.

These guys are so friendly and knowledgable. Best fly shop by far in a town with three of them. They are quick to give recommendations on flies, rivers, access points, etc and really a pleasure just to chat with. I look forward to my visit every time I'm in town.

Trout Town flies is the place to go when in Roscoe for all your fishing needs. I always have a great talk with the staff on the conditions and what hatches are going on. The flies are top quality and they also sell fly tying materials.Hands down the best fly shop in Roscoe

Came here to pick up flies for the weekend. The 2 gentleman were very nice and knowledgeable. Realized when I got back to the house that I had forgotten my reel at home. They were kind enough to rent me one for the whole weekend for a reasonable price.

Three of us ladies had the pleasure of having Chris as our guide. We took an afternoon trip. Unsual very warm weather. Took a few hours before the fish started feeding. Towards late afternoon, we started catching many fish on dry flies. Chris was a very good guide and took great care of us. He taught us alot. Great day!

Best all around shop in Roscoe. Year after year I stop in for conversation, fishing recommendations and supplies. They don't sell any junk, everything I've purchased there has helped me catch fish, and they are happy to share their knowledge with you. Today I learned how to remove a barbed hook from my thumb- priceless wisdom.

If your going to fish this is the only place to go!!! Dennis will set you up with everything you need, he will not over sell you like some other places they are more interested in your wallet than your fishing. Great flies, great people. Just stop in you will not be disappointed

Yesterday I called and told owner where I was planning on fishing. I asked him to pick out some flies for me and my Son.When I arrived I was having second thoughts of fishing the main stem as it was running a little high and I was thinking of changing and going to the Willow. Owners employee said he fished that Main the day before and had March browns hatching all day. Big advantage. Banner day.
