We stayed at the campground with our fifth wheel and stayed for the weekend. The access to the river and fishing was amazing! There is a great food truck on site that cooks great food. We had fresh vegetables available at the campground store from the farm. Our boys stayed for the week for lacrosse camp and had an incredible time! The cabins are clean, well maintained and air conditioned! The staff were incredibly friendly. We will be back for sure!

Great campground with the best staff! Many amenities I recommend you go to their very informative website to see all of your questions answered. It’s really the best campground in the area. We have been there 4 years and ❤️ it, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

If I could give 10 stars I would. This was our first time here and it was a great experience from the time we booked until check out. The staff are extremely helpful and kind, on the phone and in person. Such a peaceful environment. We had a great time river tubing, on walks and just relaxing. We will be back next year.

I don’t know where to begin… but this is my first time to this camp site mind you we do camping 3-4 times every summer to different places but this was the worst … we were invited by some friends who have been to this site last year… so while I booked the cabin the receptionist said to me are u camping with the group from last year ?? Me now happily said yes!!! Mind u all those people that have been there last year came back with us..Upon checking in Friday night we were again greeted by the very unprofessional an rude guys at the front desk saying to me are u here with that big group that give us trouble last year ?? I said am here with some friends I don’t know who give you trouble last year but this is my first time here… so we was judged and discriminated upon Check in 9 pm Friday 10/10/2022. With that done the next day we could not enjoy our day these people just watch and complaining on our every move we even had a park security at our site all night it’s not nice close to 6 pm the manager came to us an said if they have to come to us again or if we do anything they will kick us out. Well low and behold as we weee making breakfast the manager came and kick out everyone an give us an hour to leave they even called the state troopers to kick us out. This is racists place. Very very unprofessional. If our friends were bad last year why did u let them book again.

Great campsite. They have many options from tent sites, to small cabins, to deluxe cabins to hooks up for large RVs. I have stayed here for the past 2 years in a basic cabin. Totally worth it. My primary reason for staying was to fish. The river borders the campsite and its a short drive to other fishing holes along the same river. They are close to Roscoe downtown where you can find shops, restaurants and fly shops. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Clean bathrooms.

This is a cute place. It could be better, but it could also be worse. There were certain things that could have been improved with the addition of simple items like the cabin has no chairs at all and not a table. Maybe even simple benches inside or small chairs and table. The patio light was not working, and the sink outside didn't have water and was so dirty. They came to fix it, but they didn't clean it. The staff were friendly. But, calling them is so difficult because only 1 person is in charge with answering calls and she doesn't return the calls. But otherwise, the place is relaxing.

I am a returning guest on Roscoe campground. This was my 3rd reservation going back to roscoe because i really liked them. I even liked them even when they accused me of leaving a mess (which was their mistake). This year i made a reservation and called them on check in date saying i will be arriving little later than 10pm. I asked for late check in because i always arrived late so they always emailed me a map with instruction. Somehow this year they said if its after 10pm no one is allowed to check in. I asked if its stated in the agreement and Kaylie said yes. I read the agreement and it was not stated and they never mentioned anything like that when i made a reservation. They refused to accommodate when our ETA was 10:05pm and said we should stay somewhere else and come back next day for check in. They also refused to let other people on our group to check in for my site. I was in hurry to make it before 10pm and at 8:30pm Kaylie called and cancelled my reservation. They CANCELLED my reservation when my other group was 30 minutes away and when we were about half way there. I WAS A RETURNING CUSTOMER. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. They are very rude and unprofessional.

We booked the Wagon for a quick girls trip and it was incredible! The wagon was way more than we expected, it was huge inside - 4 adults fit very comfortably! The bed were comfortable, sheets were soft, pillows were firm! The night we stayed happened to be the hottest day of the season so far and without even asking, the maintenance team came an installed an AC unit within 45Minutes of our arrival! Thank you!The campgrounds itself is beautiful. Well maintained, right on the river and very friendly. The store had great last minutes supplies and wonderful souvenirs! We decided to make it an annual trip! Loved this campgrounds!!

Love this place been going here for over a decade. New cabins are nice, (liked the Rv's too) but could use a shower/toilet. Only the premium cabin has a toilet. I can live without the shower, but in the middle of the night it can be a challenge in the elements. Stayed recently and the bathrooms were closed. We had 8 people plus the rest of the campers sharing one decent toilet and 2 porta potties. They need to get that restroom and shower opened ASAP.

Employees were all very helpful! Went above and beyond to accommodate our needs… I had a couple of problems that were taken care of right away… We had a river view site… There was a flat and level concrete pad that my 25 foot rig fit perfectly on… The Wi-Fi works very well and has also cable that has like 18 channels… But The river is beautiful clean, and full of good size trout… Also you can rent or buy tubes to go down the lazy river which is a nice thing… All in all a wonderful three night stay at Roscoe campsite… And I can’t forget to tell you about the Alpacas and the goats that are on the property… They are so cute very friendly and very friendly… The kids will love them!!

My daughter and her family were camping here. My husband and I stayed in a motel nearby and spent our days with them. The grounds are well kept and clean. The showers and bathrooms are also clean. They did not have the usual activities they have for families due to covid 19 restrictions. Thank you to Kaylee in the office for answeringall my questions and for booking our stay for the end of June! We will be staying in the riverfront cabins. Hoping there will be no more restrictions and we can enjoy all that the campground has to offer. Thank you again Kaylee for all the information and help you gave me.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I absolutely would. Despite hearing bad reviews from friends who visited Roscoe's, sincerely thought they just had an off experience with some workers (as I was told the staff are "mean" and "rude"). Lo and behold, while trying to book a stay for 16 guests with a credit card in hand- I experienced the worst phone experience to date! I am not one to write negative reviews unless absolutely necessary but in hopes to help another future paying customer out- do not waste your time, energy and funds for a business that is highly unprofessional and just quite frankly nasty and rude. There are no other words to describe this man's behavior. I called on a Friday from morning to late afternoon in hopes of scheduling a reservation and kept getting hit with a busy tone. Finally an older "gentleman" picks up and advised to call an hour later when the lady who handles the reservations is no longer checking guests in. I call an hour later and the same "gentleman" picks up, very abrasive literally yelling at me saying that nothing is available. Mind you, without knowing the dates or what kind of reservation I was making... cabins? tents? rvs?- he proceeds to repeat himself again loudly "NOTHING IS AVAILABLE". It was clear as day, he was just trying to get me off the phone. The idea that I would have to call that many times, send numerous emails and then to be yelled at almost begging these people to take my money is RIDICULOUS. I will take my business elsewhere- dodged a bullet as family quality time and getaways are rare- would have been horrible to book our reservation and to be treated like this in person.

Very nice site. I visited on a day pass and the employees were very friendly. You can canoe, kayak or bike ride. It's nice place for kids and families to bond. The alpacas are adorable. The stream flowing down to your left is very beautiful and liberating. I suggest bring some food to grill while the rest of your family takes in the cool air and trees. The sites come equipped with everything necessary to stay out with room to park cars and rental of cabins, cottages and rvs.

The staffs are very friendly. There are no bugs and the place is very clean because of the good quarantine. Things sold in the store are also very cheap, so you don't have to buy firewood or ice outside.

This place is wonderful, it's tucked away in a small valley right on the Beaverkill river. The owners and staff are accommodating and kind. The facility is clean and organized. The people here genuinely want you to enjoy your stay and make sure that you have everything that you need while you're there. We stayed in one of their campers, the Jayco Jayflight. Upon arrival it was clean and had pots and pans as well as utensils. they have wood available and ready for when you need it. We had a wonderful time and I will tell everyone I know that this is a destination for relaxation for sure. Additionally, and although we're in a pandemic at the moment, the town of Roscoe which is a 5 minute drive had everything that you may have forgotten. And, it's a cool little town. I highly recommend this camp ground for a week or a weekend getaway!!

Called before I arrived on Friday they said no need to book a reservation. “ just come right on” he said. . Took a 3 hour drive with family once I arrived the employee said yes sure let me get the boss to set you up once he came he called the employee to the side. They whispered for 10 minutes then he came back and told us they are all booked. I only seen 1 car in the whole camp. The only reason it can be that they got “booked” all of a sudden is that they seen my wife who was wearing a scarf.RACIST ALERTDo your self a favor. Take an extra 10 minute drive go to BUTTERNUT GROVE CAMPSITE. Nicest people.

If I could give negative stars I would. I can't even begin to describe how angry and disappointed I am with our recent experience here and we have stayed many times. This was a special trip to celebrate my daughter's 2nd birthday and when we arrived they had given away our reservation that had been made weeks in advance. We had to cram into a tiny cabin with uncomfortable cots or whatever they're supposed to be keeping in mind that I had 2 small children with me. When we woke in the morning there were at least 5 empty cabins we could have stayed in with real beds. As if all of this wasn't bad enough we went to grab the ice cream cake I had entrusted them with so we could celebrate her birthday today and it was totally melted. No apology of any kind or refund of any of our money by the way. This is not the way to treat customers especially ones who have been coming for years.

Nice, clean and quiet environment. Kids friendly. Local dinning options are also very close.Cons: Cannot book online directly. And if they receive your phone call - you are lucky !!! Once you get connected, they are great people.

Loved this place. Went twice last year. Been trying for 2 weeks calling several times a day to book a stay at first chance. No reply to calls, text messages, website booking, emails or Instagram!! Hoping maybe somebody reads the google reviews and will keep us as loyal guests!!

This place is absolutely filled with racist and judgmental people. My family and I called a week before coming for the weekend and they said we don’t need to reserve, just come! After we drove long hours and arrived, they said the place is booked for the entire weekend after he seen my sister that was wearing a scarf. The camp site was absolutely empty (not a single sole). Please do yourself a favor and don’t come here!

Beautiful place to go camping with family and dogs!! My pups loved the nature and the access to the river. My puppy learned how to swim in that river :) my family and friends enjoy our time here. It does get very chilly at night so remember to bring a big blanket like how we did!

I was dating my wife & camping there since I was 17. My agenda was different back in the day - party, party, party! Especially in the Betty Grossman days. She whipped our gang into shape. But she was always kind & generous. Now our kids are 25 & 22, and they spent many of vacations at Roscoe!!! Seems like my wife & I are camping solo lately. But we'll always set aside one camping trip for Roscoe!! Great parties & great memories. I hope the town of Roscoe doesn't "grow up" too fast.

Right on the banks of the Battenkill River! Level sites with hook-ups for water & electric. Honey pot available. Terrain is rocky and after it rains, lots of puddles. Farm animals on site include llams, goats, roosters, chickens & turkey. Very friendly owners & staff. The local town is cool, too with a great Greek restuarant, Italian restuarant, and a few breweries/pub that serve foid, also. And, don't forget the Roscoe Diner! About30 minutes to Bethel Woods (Woodstock Museum).Lots to see & do in the area.

Had a ball, right on the river. The guys there were eager to help out with anything we asked. Can't wait to get back there next season!! No frills, just a great camping time. Walk up the river than float back nice and easy with the current, a lot of wildlife to see!!

This campsite is the worse my family and I ever been to. They are very racial . Trini and Guyanese people should never support them. They put us out for absolutely no reason.

A SUPER place for family & friends to gather and hangout for a long weekend; it's proximity on the river makes it an amazing place for trophy trout fishing experiences...The Covered Wagon's accommodations go far beyond what the pictures can say W O W..!!
