I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at the Reynolds House Inn. I believe it is important to share my experience in order to help improve the quality of service and accommodations provided by your establishment.Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude for the kind and professional assistance I received from the staff. The lady who answered the phone was very sweet and accommodating, despite the inn being in the process of transitioning from a closed state to a slow opening for the upcoming season. She worked with me to find a suitable room for myself and my children, ensuring that we had two beds and a bathtub, which was a must for our stay.However, I must bring to your attention some concerns I had regarding the overall condition of the inn. The exterior of the building appeared to be in disrepair, which initially made me hesitant to call and book a room. The front porch, in particular, seemed unsafe to walk on and was in desperate need of attention.While the room itself was clean and appeared to have been recently painted, there were some issues with the bathroom. The bathtub had a dirty and rusty appearance, making it unsuitable for bathing my children. The drain also showed signs of rust and water stains.I understand that the inn is going through a transitional phase, but I believe it is important to address these maintenance and cleanliness concerns to ensure a positive experience for future guests.Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback. I trust that you will address these issues promptly and make the necessary improvements. Not sure about the Motel, but the actual House is in serious need of updating. Beautiful wood trim throughout the place, but very worn and tired looking. Found exposed wiring in places. Front porch deck is rotting.We stayed in the Gwendolyn Room, which is essentially an attic bedroom. Not for older, out of shape folks like us.Having said that, the Inn was very clean throughout, with a very nice coffee (self) service in the downstairs common room.Might stay there again. Need to see some renovation improvements first .

This place is affordable and cozy. Although I need to run a disclaimer the thermostat on the wall does not work but there is a space heater in the closet. You get a fridge a microwave comfortable beds and a clean room. Seating outside for the smokers the inn offers snacks and coffee to quests. Plenty of places to walk to eat gas station right next door. Cool farmers market next door on Sundays. The town is cute people are friendly.

We stayed in the motel strip for one night for a concert at Bethel Woods nearby and I was very impressed! The room was super clean and smelled fresh, the air conditioning unit was new and worked great, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with great hot water. What else could you ask for?? Also, the little breakfast area in the house was super cute and had good coffee in the morning.Oh, and don't worry about safety. There was a NY state police office right across the street.Will definitely stay again when we come for another concert.

Stayed there one night after a festival. Check in was easy. Our room was clean, and well kept. The shower was hot and the TV worked. Quiet night in town, so road traffic wasn’t an issue.It’s an old house which creaks and has thin walls. That’s what I grew up in, so it felt like home. Nice staff and great location. Will be back

I will definitely be comming back the room was cozy with a vintage upstate feel. The staff was friendly it's perfect if u need somewhere to. Crash after a concert in bethel woods or fishing in the Catskills. It's right next to a gas station and a diner. If you are over 6 foot you might be slightly taller than the shower door. Besides thag everything was clean and cozy. It's a simple place that doesn't need a ton of amenities or crazy things It's simple and perfect the way it is.

We have stayed there both in the house itself and in the motel addition. Dogs are allowed in your room only in the motel. We originally stayed in the house for a couple of years (about 2003-4) before we had a dog. The young couple who bought and restored it after it had seriously run down ran it as a true B&B. The food was delightful and the rooms were small but newly renovated. It was a very comfortable and charming place.It was sold to new owners around 2005. They ran it as a bead and "make your own breakfast" establishment. This arrangement lasted until the about 2010. Since then there has been no breakfast served or self served. The rooms have stayed about the same (very clean) but are in need of updating and repair.The charm of the house has to some extent been lost (It needs updates and repairs), yet it still offers a good place to stay that is clean and neat. The rooms in the house offer quaint and historically interesting atmosphere. The location is right near the middle of Roscoe and near good restaurants within walking distance.

I often go upstate and when I do this is where I stay! The management is extremely accommodating anything I need they are able to take care of.All the rooms have different character to them and they are always spotless. I have never been to a hotel that operates like this it's very family friendly and they are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure our stay there is pleasurable. If you need a mini vacation this is the place I would recommend.

Great price and rooms are nice/clean. Staff is very helpful, one key point check-in is done by calling management company. Roscoe area is beautiful and it has some of the best fly fishing in upstate NY. There is great little downtown area with few restaurants, nice small grocery store, awesome diner and great fishing store.

I stayed here with my husband and kids in suite 2, we all fit very comfortable the it is close to all the ski resorts, the beds are comfortable the rooms are clean and homey the staff is extremely accommodating the room came with snacks and drinks and Keurig machine for coffee in the morning as well as the main house comes fully stocked with all different snacks and full coffee bar. This is the first hotel that I stayed in that provided all these extras free of charge. We enjoyed our stay very much and will deffiently spend another weekend there.

Amazing little place in Roscoe NY! Love it and we’ll be back. Nice and clean and prices were good. Went to Bethel Woods to see Zac Brown last night. Awesome show and so when we come back we’ll always stay with you at the Reynolds House!

Location extremely close to Roscoe Diner, gas stations, fishing stores, restaurants, simple supermarket walking distance, pharmacy. Small farmer's market Sundays at 10 am in next property. Across street from small state trooper office. I had room 10, simple, pine floors. no Wi-Fi in that room which is why not 5 star rating, and full-size beds creaked at a slight move. Bathroom sufficient. Satellite TV. Major plus was it is pet-friendly. Parking on premises. No coffee. But, offered soap and shampoo.

If you like visiting your grandparents house, this is it. They have a full bounty of breakfast things and the small appliances are there for you to use.Rooms: We stay in the main house. Being quiet as a mouse adds to the nostalgia. I really enjoyed our stay here.Nearby activities: Fishing and Train MuseumsWalkability: Roscoe Diner is a 2 minute walk from your room. This allows you time to go eat top rated fair and return to your room to gather your things.
