If you are hesitant just go! This place is amazing. It was completely worth the money. We got to spend time with baby bunnies, baby sheep, Daisy the pig, alpacas, llamas, goats, chickens, and ducks. It was only 10 dollars per person and included a cup of feed per person. The farmers helped our baby pet baby bunnies, goats, and sheep. They were so friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing time at Buck Brook Alpacas! Highly recommend a private tour, which was super fun and educational. It is amazing how many alpacas they have and how well taken care of and happy all their animals look. Would highly recommend stopping in to any animal lover for a great experience!

Had so much fun on the alpaca walk and feeding the animals. Definitely recommend booking the alpaca walk in advance. Even if you can’t do the alpaca walk, you still get to get up close to the animals to feed and pet them with the self tour ticket. The gift shop had lots of cute gifts made with alpaca fleece, I had to get a few pairs of socks and bring home my own mini alpaca.

The best place to enjoy cute creatures! Alpacas are everywhere, you can feed and pet them. Farm itself is clean and cosy. a really fun gift shop with something for everybody. staff is helpful and leave you to enjoy these amazing fury friends.

What a riot, I can’t get over these animals! The alpacas are definitely the feature of the farm - you can go inside the pens if you pay for a guided tour. They’re all really cute, but the babies make the most noise. The farm’s complete with a little gift shop and all the hand made products as well. This is a really unique place to visit!

My friends and I had such a nice time at the farm. We took part in a felting craft, alpaca training, and feeding. It was so nice to spend the day with such gentle animals. The gift shop was great and the people running the activities and tour were very kind and knowledgeable.

Paid for a 5 or less people tour. Very informative and worth it over general admission. Got to meet a ton of alpacas and and even see some that were born the day before. Great for kids. Beautiful location. Tons of chickens too.

Loved the farm. The alpacas are beautiful. Loved seeing the babies. They gave us a cup of apples to feed them. Only thing I didn't like was one alpaca spit at me while he was eating hay, and got it all over my white jacket and my face 😮 Spent two hours mingling and feeding them. Fun day!!

So glad we found this place! The alpacas were adorable and friendly/ staff was awesome as well! You can really tell that the animals are well taken care of.Huge plus - Farm fresh eggs for $5 a dozen.

This is a MUST DO anytime you are in the area. The staff are so friendly and the alpacas are beyond sweet. We always have such a good time here and bring friends when they visit. The gift shop is also amazing and filled with lots of goodies!

Amazing experience with alpacas. I loved every minute of it. You get to see and interact with Other animals.They have farm cats! If you are an animal person, I would definitely recommend you come here. Great gift shop with all products from alpacas wool 10/10. We left feeling so happy and relaxed.

What a treasure! My friend and I had the best time feeding and petting these living soft toys. It's not just Alpacas, either; we saw giant angora rabbits, llamas, sheep, a pig, and more. The farm is impeccably maintained, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The gift shop is nicer than high-end stores in Manhattan. Buck Brook was the highlight of my friend's visit, and I'm coming back with more friends and family in the future. They have a B&B overlooking the farm's stunning mountain view, making it the perfect locale for a few days away from it all.

Wow - we had such a good time here. The alpacas are super nice with visitors, especially with children. The staff members were great and extremely knowledgeable about their animals. The grounds and nearby countryside are beautiful. We stayed a few nights in the Airbnb above the barn. It was an exceptional experience and would highly recommend.

My first time at alpaca farm! We were staying close by for the weekend and found this near by the rental. Made reservations online and we checked in and was greeted by lovely tour guide, she gave use a tray of Apples for feeding and I enjoyed the little Orientation how the alpacas are cared after, she went through the variety of alpaca wool to andora fur.There’s chickens, and Rabbits on sight too. W got to feed the alpacas and pet them, probably got bit too excited.

Buck Brook Alpacas was a hit. Did the 40 minute public tour and the motherlode gem mining add on. Absolutely LOVED snuggling the angora bunnies, feeding the friendly alpacas apples, getting up close to the nosy peacock, following the chickens and cat around. The motherlode gem is a water stream sifting activity where you're handed a large 7ish pound bag of sand mixed in with semi precious gems and fossils, yielding about 2 pounds of take home shiny rocks. It's a good haul.

Super cool Alpaca Farm and store! So glad we stopped in and got to meet the Alpaca of the year 2022! The animals are so cute and friendly and it was super fun to be able to feed them. The shop was awesome and we bought all sorts of soft/ warm Alpaca related items. Cant wait to return and now I am thinking I want Alpaca's as a pet! I highly recommend you stop by and check it out.

Always a great experience at Buck Brook Alpacas! Their animals are well cared for.The owners and workers are always kind, courteous and generous with their knowledge of alpacas. They dedicate their time to running a professional farm while making time for visitors and the local community. They sell beautiful and well made fiber products, many from local artisans at a fair price.

The experience was good. You are definitely able to interact with the alpacas but they stay in their closed sections. For those of you making the trip it is a bit far and I'd definitely look into doing something else while here so that the trip is worth it.

Great concept. Loved seeing the alpacas and learning about them. The lady at the gift shop was not super warm or friendly. Like I said, great concept, but they definitely need to be warmer with their customers.

This was the most wonderful experience. Buck Brook Alpacas is a welcoming, beautiful farm in Roscoe NY. Their approximately 100 alpacas, 2 llamas, many chickens, and several cats are gorgeous, healthy, and clearly loved and well cared for. They offer tours and alpaca walks. Our walk guide, Lucia, was fantastic. She was so informative, and sweet, and answered all of our questions while we ambled around the property. At the end of our walk, she gave us apples to feed to the alpacas and let us pet some angora rabbits. The shop is well stocked with a wide range of products. Everyone here was so nice. Buck Brook is definitely worth a visit.

Great place to visit if you have kids or love animals. When we visited an alpaca was just born and we were one of the first people to see her. We visited "the maternity ward" and fed the new moms. There are alpacas as all over the property and rabbits you can pet. Despite the fact that everyone was busy with the new baby the staff was very friendly and helpful. The store was full of affordable and lovely items for purchase. I'd come back again.

Cute small farm. You need to buy a tour to look around. They have a great shop there with a wide selection of different products made from alpaca's fur.

I could never say enough good about Buck Brook Alpacas. It is a simply an amazing time, especially if you’re bringing kids. All of their tour guides are very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Visits have brought us to tears several times - like when we saw the babies meet our baby. It is a must visit if you’re in the area if not just for the store - then for the people and experience!

My family and I went to go check this farm out today and were shooed away by a lady working there. She was extremely rude to us and made us feel unwelcome. I do not recommend this farm to anyone with kids who don’t want to disappoint them. There’s a campsite down the road where you can see them for free

Great place to visit when in the Catskills, and they have a store to purchase Alpaca-based blankets and clothing. Super nice staff and animals!
