I love this store, because the incredible varieties of exotic, domestic fruits and vegetables. The layout of the merchandise and produce is spectacular and pleasing to the eyes. The customer service is excellent and the market is never too crowded.

Today is one of the days I often shop. And I was treated as if my money didn't count. Twice I asked to leave my wheeled- basket in the store. I take it with me when I do my heavy shopping. I can't carry heavy loads. The Indian lady asked me if I paid for the item that was still in my basket. Western Beef Roosevelt... You need to train your people better in customer service! I shop here every week. It's my last time, today!

I found what I needed. Helped the cashier bag my stuff. No issues or concerns. Never my first place to go for groceries but a good place to pick up things I missed or extras until the next big grocery shopping day.

They have significantly improved the store since the new latino manager has taken over! However shop.at your own risk in the meat department I feel they send all the old meat from other stores to this store. The just slowly started to add organic and healthier choices in all departments. The deli lady Pat is on point and efficient just asked to see your deli meat before being cut. The fried chicken is good also from the deli department. But its way better then a year or two ago.

Store was good but cart was trash wheels wouldn't roll correctly big hassle. Store only has pay bags when I spent $200 not even 1 bag given. Smh they got to do better should revise the policy with a certain amount spent at least 1 bag should be complimentary.

The outside of the store was filthy. The decor was very dark and dingy. The store has a bakery and a good variety of products. The manager was nice but the bakery worker was kinda rude and dismissive. The bathroom is disgusting and western beef should be ashamed to let the public in there. Checkout was quick but the counters aren't laid out very well. The place is good if you need to get a small amount of products in a small amount of time.

Spoke to a representative on the phone in regards to a possible stolen card information. The individual rudely hung up. One star for service and would not recommend.

Not bad. Prices are high on majority of their items so I don't shop here often. Western Beef is like my emergency store. For example, I only shop there if I forgot something. The employees are okay so I give them 2 stars.

It is a relatively small supermarket but it is ideal for the small neighborhood of Roosevelt. It caters well to the cultural heritage of the people in that vicinity. You can buy many Spanish and Caribbean food items there. It would be great though if they had their own regular coupons. I'm not sure if they accept manufacturers' coupons although more than likely they should.They have expanded their section of Caribbean pastries/treats.

The Beef this place serves sure is western. I can taste all the flavorings of fresh farm cattle from old western days.This market is clean, nice, and full of products, especially an abundance of beef.There is a decent amount of pork, and chicken, and fish, but beef is very abundant. They even have a beef flavored cereal.There is an overflow of beef, ground beef, and certified organic farm raised beef options.The parking lot is cozy. definitely looks like a beef type of parking lot. Like a fresh farm. Or a fresh farm.It's a traditional supermarket. Full of products. I bought chocolate pudding, garlic, and a beef patty from this location when I came, I was in rush.Overall, a nice option.

First the meat department is disgusting. The prices are super high for very low quality meat. I bought ground beef and it was gray in the middle. The meat was red on the outside. I bought a 30 pack of steak claiming to be porterhouse and it was spoiled by the time i defrosted it. The cut was thin and the right side of the steak was gone.

Prices were a bit more on the high side regarding certain items, such as evaporated milk and general meats, but these are probably spiked due to the pandemic. The thing that hit the nail on the coffin though was how I was watched intensely by a worker in the store. All while I was walking around with my bag just in the corner of my eye I saw them just a liiiittle bit out of sight and it made me pretty uncomfortable. I'm of a darker skin complexion and i'm not sure if this is a racial thing or not, but be aware when shopping here.

The deli counter woman must be going through a midlife crisis because her attitude was disgusting but after taking a closer look I saw she looked that part as well. They need to find someone with manners that will be handling customers food. That was not a pleasant experience and they just lost customers.

January 6 12:50 pm...Roosevelt, NY.....Waited at unattended deli department...after long wait I decided to call front area and was told someone would be over to help. after a few minutes went by a employee (who later said he was the asst store manager) walked by and said the deli person called out. I stated that he did not say anything to me when he walked by the first time. I gave up on trying to by cold cuts. I expressed my situation to a cashier who stated that he was the designated deli person and that I would have to wait until he's finished for service. I usually get great service at the deli department. The Roosevelt Western Beef has greatly improved itself over the last few years and I would hate to see it go backwards because of lack of service I eventually went to compare foods for my cold cuts

Pack of chuck steak $30.00. $10 and up per pound. Other Branded markets I. The area porterhouse/ ny strips better quality looks better not priced that high. There prices are high as giraffe's p---y. Taking avantage of people who have to shop locally.

Expired food on 2 occasions . Once was bad hellmans mayonnaise and then bad meat from freezer section on another visit. How hard is it to check expiration dates so the customers don't get sick. obviously no one does their job these days. Never going back

This place is horrible!! Everybody had an attitude from the man who worked in the meat department to the older lady at the register. I never shop at this place and this is one of the reasons why. I was only in to get the special on oxtails. After today's unpleasant experience I will not return . I will spend my money where you can get decent customer service.
