I hardly give bad reviews to anyone but I have to say this because it embarrassed me everytime I go to this ShopRite. Iam an instacart shopper and the guy at self checkout who supervises there, everytime I go there for my orders for checkout, he checks me individually for everything, only ME. He checks my cart and then my counter and my stuff everything everytime. I have to separate orders because of multiple jobs but he thinks iam a theif. When everyone is going easily, he only does this to me because i can see his behavior towards others and towards me too. I know its his job to check but when I said iam an instacart shopper and doing this again and again makes me embarrass. I think he is a Racist because iam not like him or others May be or Iam a Muslim, may be this could be the reason. But this happens not once, not twice, not thrice, not even ten times, it is now about 25-30 times till yesterday. Iam sorry if my comments hurt anyone but it can't be more hurtful than iam.

So I went there for my rib roast on sale for 4991b and the meat guy said, we don't have any more right now..... that's it! So I said are you substituting anything in its place and he just looked at me and said no.....No apology not even well there coming in later on....Rude... so I will never shop there again, mind you this is Christmas weekend....You just lost a customer...

I needed a new supermarket regarding quality, variety, cleanliness and convenience. The price points here are competitive with all area supermarkets except no-frills Aldi with limited selections.I have not yet investigated the Meat Department, but that will occur within two weeks. Further, ShopRite needs to be evaluated on ease of shopping/locating products.So far, I like what they offer. Giunta's practices price-gouging and selling substandard meat, hence the change to a better venue and eliminating the aggravation of shopping there. I hope for the best at ShopRite.

This store always has long lines and 3 registers open. After i waited in the work for free self check out, i was told that the 3x5 posted sign that stated no alcohol at the self check out would stand and i’d have to take it and the two other items to a register. Full abort— items left on the spot. Will never return.

Staff is a representation of why this place sucks... Newest location but it's worse than all of the older stores. Bathrooms always gross, food baskets (are for some reason) placed near the exit, not the entrance. So u walk in and walk across the store to get a basket. Many other reviews mention this, too. Nobody has thought "Hmm, maybe we should put the baskets BY THE ENTRANCE" ???Besides the rude staff, dirty bathrooms and stupid placement - they never have anything in stock. Including the cooked food items.I visit Deer Park, PJ or Selden - they have tons of items, all of the pre-cooked meals by the deli are stocked with so many different options.Ronk has same few items every day, less and less, and they usually look like the meal in posted in my pic. Maybe it's time to staff some people that actually want to work. Because this place is the definition of "bare minimum".

I would rate ShopRite here 0 stars, but apparently that isn’t possible. I was picking up an emergency order. I’m a 32 year old woman who’s disabled. I was rushing around because I got there at 10:20pm which is fine. At 10:20 there were shelves and displays closed and locked already when the store was not to close till 11pm. Once the loudspeaker came on saying 15 minutes to close this young man tall light hair, started to follow and harass me around I have severe ptsd and anxiety from an accident. I started to cry and was having a panic attack and I asked him to stop and I was finishing up and he kept going which made me take longer as I was having severe anxiety and panicking. I then twisted my ankle in the rush and he continued to get nasty. Something needs to be done. I left the store at 11:03 pm there were others still on line but he only harrassed me when I got to my car my bp was 190/96. I cannot have that between pain and panic this is not ok. Something needs to be done. I shouldn’t have been treated so bad. You have no idea how long it took me to be able to shop alone again since my accident. Now I don’t know.

Once again I came for the bowl & basket thanksgivingmeal, which I was told they would definitely have & don't, called, 4 other stores that also don't have it. Very disappointed as that was my thanksgiving meal. Employees should know whether they have something or not before the customer wastes their time going multiple times.Came for the bowl & basket corned beef and cabbage dinner, spent 25 mins going from customer service to the deli department & back, the kid in the deli didn't believe it was his dept, the cust service girl didn't know if they had it & the mgr didn't know if they were getting it in! That's a lot of "I don't knows" from the only 3 employees I spoke with. Obviously this won't be my shoprite

I decided to try out ShopRite for the first time since it opened recently. I usually shop at stop & shop down the block from this one. Figured I'd give it a try and I made a good choice. The selection was phenomenal, the prices are better than average and the quality of the food, meats, fish, deli are unsurpassed. The store was very clean, the staff was very helpful, it was organized, the fishmonger was extremely helpful with choosing fish and friendly. Decided to make this a quick trip and it helped that the layout of the store was pretty good. Temperature in the store was set to cool but it didn't bother me as I'd rather it be cooler than hotter, especially given that it's the summer and food will also stay fresher when it's cooler. The check out process was quick and while the store was just a bit crowded, the lines seemed to move quickly. Not an issue with this store per se, but the parking lot layout is horrendous. Parking lot design is just not really laid out well.To sum it up, better prices than stop & shop and most other supermarkets, quality seems better, selection is fantastic.Update: All is still well, as before, however, their sandwich selection and deli department seems to be frequently closed or out of items, mostly by the end of the night. I used to pick up a few sandwiches after work and they were always in-stock, but since Dec 2021, they are almost always sold out (or not made for the day).

Staff is always pretty friendly but the store layout leaves a little to be desired, the fresh produce and some of the cold stuff is at the entrance and the dry goods are in the middle making it kind of awkward to smoothly transition from dry to cold to checkout. Not a major issue, just mildly annoying.

The store is organized, has great prices, and a friendly staff. Thank you to the young man who was my cashier this evening. Peter was helpful, kind, and had good customer service skills. In a world where people are so into their phones and not "real life," it is a pleasure to work with someone like Peter. The store is fabulous but the parking lot is not designed very well. There are too many areas where cars fly through without paying attention. Enjoy your time walking around the store, just be careful when you get outside.1/16/2021-I felt the need to update my review after working with Adam on January the 15th. I told him that I was going to say how wonderful he was so here I am. Adam had an amazing personality, a positive outlook, and he certainly knows about putting the needs of the customer first. This young man will be successful in all areas of life. As we live during some of the craziest times we have ever faced it is nice to spend time with a smiling young man with a great attitude. More young people should possess the qualities that Adam has.

This is my go to local grocery store. It is fairly affordable with some good selections for those who lean towards Whole Foods and such. I never have any complaints over the cleanliness of the store...no matter what time of day I shop.

The good is the place has a great selection of food and meats, everything looks well stocked. The bad is that when you go to check out on memorial day weekend there is only 1 register open. Had to go to self check out, it took double the time because the machine kept throwing error messages. The feeling I had was that they are trying to push self checkout to save money on employee cost.

Seriously the deli department is atrocious. They never have enough staff and their online ordering has been down for weeks at this point. So maybe a ticket system so you can get stuff done while they go painfully slow? Nah... just stand there.The produce section is also a bit wanting as well. Used to go here anyway as their bakery makes some really good cookies and most things were easy to find in the smaller store. I can't wait on line for over 20 minutes for a fourth time in a row. Not exaggerating, twenty minute wait for deli.

The lack of carts and the lack of staff to get the carts by the front is absurd. If you don't get there before they open, you're gonna have to play Marco polo in the parking lot to try and find a cart. Really inconvenient trying to search for a cart while carrying one of my 2 babies

I can't find anything when I go there and end up wandering around. Why are the snacks in four different aisles? If I look for a dip, is it near the frozen food section? Is it by the milk? Is it by the fish? Your guess is as good as mine. Separate from this, just about no shoppers are wearing masks. Sure they have signs but the staff doesn't care. The ShopRite in Selden is much more compliant and the entrance there is sometimes manned to make sure people are wearing masks. I understand it is difficult to have customers comply but I won't be going back here for now. Also, as with all grocery stores their prices have gone up dramatically. Just picking up a few things and the bill is in the $90s!

Twice now in as many weeks the store had the wrong price on items, and would not honor the price. First time I simply got overcharged. Second time I brought it up to the self-serve checkout assistant, showed her the the wrongly priced item and walked back to show her where it was on the shelf (to show I wasn't just making it up), and they still wouldn't honor the price (not only that, but the assistant got indignant and then rude, saying it wasn't "Her" mistake and that she was coming off her shift anyway - way to represent the store!).So the next time, I'm avoiding ShopRite and heading to Stop-n-Shop or Giunta's just one more stop light down the road.Not just a bad experience, but a repeated one (not to mention I've had better customer support and store representation at the local fast-food places).

This is my regular grocery store. The staff is friendly and the store is clean but they are often out of sale items and don't have as big of a variety as a lot of other shoprites I have been to but for the area is is definitely the best and most convenient option. The meat department is always well stocked but I choose to go elsewhere for produce.

3 registers open this morning (9am) with 15+ customers waiting on lines that barely moved. I waited over 25 minutes on line!!! This is not acceptable, my items defrosted. A "manager" was chatting with a customer about how they can't find workers - instead of chatting, how about you go to a register and check customers out!Often shelves are empty, especially cat food. There is rarely anyone at the fish counter. Today the refrigerated items I wanted showed signs they'd been left un-refrigerated for too long (paper was moist) so I put them back.I've been going since they opened after today I'm done with this store.

This ShopRite has so many natural and/organic products! To me, seems like much more so than the Selden ShopRite. Just seems to be more of a variety. The produce is so beautiful (altho I find the setup of the produce section to be slightly confusing and like they had to cram everything in a small space) and the store is so clean.My only gripe is the parking lot. It's very unsafe as far as where they have and , more importantly, DON'T have stop signs. I feel like it's just an accident waiting to happen.But...I still love this location. I've been able to find my favorite vegan and vegetarian food products and natural and cruelty free toiletries. The meats are also super fresh. I have yet to try the fish department but once I do, I will update my review
