Normally I avoid going to Walmart but I had to stop in for some birthday supplies. I needed a item put in manually but all the cashier at the self checkout wanted to stand their an staring at me rather than actually helping me. I always pay for my stuff an unfortunately I had to leave a dress I wanted an I liked very much. Thanks so much for the help like not. An this is why others use online shopping or shop at other stores.

This particular wally world is clean and deli, and bakery is top-notch.I went through the checkout as I am not a fan of self checkout.The woman was nice and thoughtful.A very pleasant experience.The only downside for me was items I used to get there they no longer sell.

Andrew in auto was amazing and assisted me without any issues. He was positive even when his fellow coworker Megan was complaining about having 2 in store service appointments to do tomorrow on Easter. He kept saying how they’d get it done because the have dedicated workers and it would work out.

We usually shop here if we need something at Walmart.. The store is usually very organized and well kept. Since they have refaced the store I thought it would remain clean and organized.. Not the case!!! This store was a WRECK, empty boxes everywhere, on the shelves, in the isles. The only employees we saw was up front at check out, Oh wait "self check out" and might I add he had earbuds in and wasn't very interested in answering our question. Honestly I have never seen this store in such disarray. We will be rethinking our next shopping visit to this specific store.

I really love shopping at this location, I get everything that I want and more, they have great customer service people and always a good crowd of people. Despite what may have been reported recently, they still have self- checkout registers!!

A great place to stop at anytime of day, no matter what you may need Walmart has it 90% of the time. Pickup is available here as well as ordering online to have it delivered to the store or to your house. The frozen food section is very sparse but the produce section has a wide variety of local and exotic fruits. The subway inside is decent and very clean. The ATM in Walmart has a hefty fee for use.

Horrible they treat everyone like a Excon I check out finally get to the door an the door greater wants to check my receipt and paw threw my food well she tried but I stopped her an walk out then security approached me a told me i have to come with them to costumer service because they believe I didn't pay for some items an they jus wanna make sure i said go to hell i got 3 kids waiting for me at home i jus spent almost 2 hours there getting a few things for dinner an the self check is a joke i kept walking to my truck the man proceeded to fallow until i told him thats not a good idea u wont like the out come of it if ya do he stopped at the doors an watch me leave two days later i have a cop at my door tryi g to serve me a ticket for stealing witch i got thrown out an now im filing a law suite for deformation of characters an loss wages for missing work due to court because of this i will never shop at rome walmart every employee there should be fired an store shut down if i could give negative stars it woild be -100,000

Garbage waited 35 minutes for online pick and 10 other cars showed up after and got helped before me and 2 of the cars had 2 employees. the order was ready 10 minutes before I showed up

Not a review for the entire Walmart , just a employee who said her name was Christine , My Gf tried grabbing her attention politely, and she stared her in the eyes and continued walking away, so after grabbing our item , I caught up with said employee, asked her name , she said “Christine” and I said “ thank you I’ll keep that in mind “ and walked away , which caused her to laugh . Maybe if ur going to work in a public area , work on ur social skills Christine , how do we as teenagers have more manners and respect then someone who looks like they have two kids , probably 30 years older then us , be so impolite. To be honest that’s probably why Christine is still working at Walmart at her age instead of doing something better with her life . We get it u only make 15-20hr , u don’t wanna deal with some snotty teens , but that doesn’t give u the right to act some how worse than most teens our age .

In August 2023 you HONOR one of your best, hard-working employees from the store on Rome-Taberg Road in Rome, NY, and then in December you FIRE this 27-year employee???! This woman LOREN BUTTERS is the face of Walmart in our community. She is a dedicated, hard-working person. She has been committed to your company and to us, her community, for all these years. Our whole community is appalled by your actions. Is this some money-saving effort so you don’t have to pay a retirement for someone who’s given their better years to you?!? This company should be utterly ashamed. I, personally, am disgusted with these actions and will no longer be supporting such a company that can treat their employees this way, and I will continue to spread the word of how Walmart does their “business.” In this day and age, where most places cannot even find workers, your company has certainly made a mistake in letting one go who has already shown her loyalty and devotion.

CAW. Better than most walmarts around this area (looking at you north utica) with a mixed bag of employees in a nice clean well lit environment. My only problem is that some of the aisles are WAY to small. People around this area are very selfish and like hogging the whole aisle sometimes caw caw.Last thing caw caw, not a fan of employees pushing people into self checkout lines. I don't feel like doing someone's job of cashing myself out when I get off a ten hour shift from work. The extra punch in the stomach is when I see the employee's on their phones while I'm cashing myself out. Glad your getting paid to watch me do your work.

Horrible....I bought a stroller, carseat combo for my niece who just had her baby....the stroller was labeled $99.50 but rang up for $229....I bought it to a store managers attention and they said it's not the right box, I told her no this says box s-3 so I dug out a s-3 so continue to say I was in the wrong when it was labeled wrong....I went ahead an bought it so that way I could pick up my niece... I called corporate and they were great and said to call the store back later this evening to schedule a piece difference refund so I called and the manager that was on answer and said please hold let me see if their are any notes and she left me on hold for over 17 minutes so I hung up.New Hartford Walmart would never of done this...

My 2 year old does not fit in the new carts so literally cannot shop here anymore. I am not the only one to have this issue. Enjoy people bringing strollers in, with all those compartments to hide stolen items in. So sick of thoughtless so called improvements.

The store is very busy location. Felt like a black Friday. I could not believe how crowded it was. I've been to several different wm locations and this one has the busiest I've ever seen !!

Bought rolls from the bakery today. Won't do that again. Whoever does the baking doesn't have a clue. Rolls go on a tray, put in the walking to proof, then baked once they have risen. The rolls I bought today were not proofed, did not rise and were so tuff they are not edible. This store gets worse by the day. Food product on the shelf is not rotated and produce is awful.....

Never buy a television here.The majority I've purchased from here are broken out of the box.They've refused to accept returns of broken ones. And their extended warranty only covers manufacturers defects, despite claiming at purchase and on the receipt that it covers accidental damage.

Great prices and friendly service. Clean.Isle's are labeled in large letters so you can find your items easier. Nice to know you can get your prescription,get a haircut,food,flowers or garden needs, all in the same day. Awesome place to shop.

Not only has it been a pain lately getting things cause their always out of stock, now you have to take forever to find out where they relocated EVERYTHING cause they decided to rearrange the whole store AGAIN . So now I just try not to go there if I don't need to.

Ok, if you are doing delivery or grocery pickup. Store gets rearranged too much to find anything! Current large remodel is a cluster! Pharmacy in the middle of the store, isles going in random directions, and some isles are too narrow, while others are astronomically large.

I realy hate this place now that they have remodeled. I feel like they are trying to look like Target. They have a huge clothing section but manage to have very little clothing options in it.

The reason I'm giving it a 3 star rating is because it's not a bad store really Walmart is a huge supply chain. I do like a lot of the stuff they have and there usually is always availability. The main reason I give it a 3 star rating is because of the staff they hire a bunch of lazy people. Especially since soon they will be replacing cashiers with self checkout stations.
