Loved the dynamic between the servers and the regulars, loved the cozy feel, loved watching the food be cooked and served immediately. They were kind to my child, Very quick service in the restaurant while they were also pushing out Togo orders, really impressed. Plus they had parking right against the building which made it easy to get in and out. Glad we stopped here instead of Denny’s.Kid-friendliness: Had high chairs, bathrooms and a nice wait staff.

Food was excellent and atmosphere was great!! Not a fan of being asked to leave while I was still drinking coffee with my son 3 weeks ago. Waitress said people were waiting to be seated. She's a big liar cause nobody was waiting and there were a few booths available.....Do not know why she didn't like us and I do not think we will frequent there again....unless we are that desperate!

First time in a while I've been there like my 16th bday, I had a lot of family lived in City of Rome NY, so after my morning Dr appointment my Friend asked me about breakfast I said I want to go to the Iron Kettle Restaurant, they are still doing everything in front of you on their grill and still making awesome food! Consistency Everytime! I will be back there again! Thanks for cranking out awesome food! ✨🍽️ 🥞🍳🍔☕🍵 ✨Parking: Nice off street parking lot! Easy access to the Door, I didn't have any problems getting to the Front Door, Amazing place and Amazing Diner Food! Made our Day! 🤗

We found this jewel on the Internet and decided to give it a try. We were passing through Rome, NY. Easy in and out parking. You seat yourself and our wonderful, delightful server was Jenene. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend. The owner, Tim, said his mother opened the Iron Kettle in the 70's. I had the chicken tenders from the appetizer section and I added the grilled broccoli with cheese. My husband ordered a burger which came with chips. He was very pleased. The prices are affordable and ample portions. Go eat here and tell Jenene the couple from TN sent you.

My husband got the Spanish omlete and home fries and was VERY happy. I got the fish fry that comes with fries and coleslaw. We added an order of onion rings. The fish was not good. I was hoping it would be a good beer battered kind, but it was more like a fish nugget. (shredded mealy fish with a breadcrumb crust). Waitress very kindly refunded it after I decided I couldn't eat it. The fries were good though. Onion rings were frozen ones, OK. Cute place though. I think the more "fresh" items are going to be good, just know a good portion is frozen basics. We might go back again if we are working in the area.

Awesome breakfast joint!We came in and I loved their breakfast. Our server was excellent and attentive. The food was really great and they kept my coffee cup filled, too.The one drawback is that they have squeezed a bunch of tables into a small space. And while generally clean the building is old and dated.Having said that - I’ll be back again for steak and eggs.

PHENOMENAL!!! It takes a lot to get that rating from me!!The “Reuben Omelette” with cheesy homefries was an amazing breakfast!!! Next time I visit Rome, it is a for sure stop for me!!!Phenomenal!!!!

Home town cooking is what you want, this is the premiere place to get it! A real adorable small local diner with increased seating in the back. Very time-capsuled environment with owners from the area who know just how to make your order just right. Love this place!Parking: Lots of parking at the side and back of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Very good for who need wheelchair access. No steps and there is a side exit, with bigger doors.

Staff was pleasant. Older staff.A family business.Not much of a menu.Odd pricing. Cheap burgers about 5 bucks. But a glass of soda with ice about 10 ounces 3 bucks?We ordered burgers and fries.They forgot the fries.Never came back to see if we wanted something else or refresh drinks.While over all not bad a place and I would go again. Just never go out of my way to go there.

I love coming to the iron kettle very friendly and great people the food is so good it's a just like my grandma used to make❤️When I go into the dinner it brings me back to the older days with the booths and you watch the cook.and they talk to you..sometimes they don't..you don't leave hungry that's for sure...they have plenty of parking and sometimes it's packed.they do close at 2pm...I had the pancakes wish I took a picture...Parking: They have a big parking lot.

Wonderful back home atmosphere, staff is very knowledgeable and courteous, fantastic prices for the portions and love that the food is cooked in the open right around you so we could smell our food as it was being cooked. For our first time eating here and it was my sweetheart birthday, we were both very happy and satisfied! We plan on going back again for sure! Love these smaller diner's, they truly understand hospitality! Well done!!
