The experience has been better lately with well stocked shelves and employees who have been helpful. 2 cashiers in particular are a pleasure to deal with-Lisa and Dorothy. I would choose to wait on their line 10 deep before going to an empty one with Maureen on it. She has an attitude and is quite rude.

I called the bakery to see if I can order a cake for my son and the baker was extremely rude. He answered the phone with an attitude and sighed then I asked if I can get a 7 inch Elmo cake for my son, I was not aware they didn’t make the cakes themselves they get the designed and fill them in, so he let me know that in an annoyed tone, then he hangs up in my face before I can even place an order for my son’s birthday. I do not recommend this bakery and I definitely will not get anything from this bakery ever again. I don’t know if he was just having a bad day or If he’s like this all the time but the attitude is extremely unprofessional and I did not deserve to get treated like that especially as a paying customer. I don’t usually leave reviews unless it’s a 5 star or 1 star and I’m usually understanding because I know life can be tough sometimes but this was very uncalled for.

I hate leaving bad reviews but there’s been way too many negative experiences for me not to. ALL of the women at the customer service desk are rude, snippy, angry, make you feel like a huge problem and they are all nasty to the cashiers! Every time the cashier needed them, they would berate and be so condescending and rude to the cashier. Embarrassing and gross behavior. If you hate people so much, find another profession. On top of that, the produce is almost always 90% rotten.

They don’t have enough people at registers. The register girl decided to leave work without Turning off register light before I unloaded all my food on the register. Then it took a half hour waiting to get scanned out. Plus she had a bad attitude and looks like working is the end of the world. Not to mention the produce is a hit and miss mostly miss and rotting.

Current situation: zero apple juice (Adam & Eve) on sale, zero napkins, paper towels and very minimal salad in both Miller Place & Rocky Point. Many other random products haven't been in the store for about a month. Between the hoarding employee oversight with respect to ordering products, Stop & Shop has really dropped the ball over the past 9 months.

Friendly & helpful staff. Usually a good selection. Although tends to be crowded, even parking lot. Don't like self check-out here or anywhere else but they have a clerk waiting for problems. Never enough lines open.

Unfortunate update 2024: customer service employees at service desk Monday-Friday (not weekends) present as condescending, mean and rude. This does not make the customer feel valued or welcomed at this Stop and Shop location.This is no longer my destination Stop and Shop for this specific reason.*Produce, bakery, dairy, store cleanliness, maintenance and cashiers performance 5 stars

**Update 7/2018** this place has really gone downhill, it’s obvious management doesn’t care about quality. Firstly roll bins no longer have tongs so people are in there with their hands!!!! GROSS!! Multiple complaints made and still no change. Also they changed how they store deli meats, instead of wrapping them in plastic tightly to keep the blood and juices in the meat they are using bags, meat is dry and sitting in water and blood...again GROSS!!!! And as I said in my initial review they take requests for products that Foodtown carried not a single one has been fulfilled even though they carry the brands still. Don’t shop here!! Go to ShopRite or King Kullen.Nothing special and no where near as good as Foodtown which it replaced, meat is hit more miss in quality and selection overall isn’t as deep, seems they aren’t really fulfilling customer product requests either.

Our go-to supermarket carries a various selection of most food items. What we love is that they carry our son's cheese + eggs which are all plant-based due to his allergies. The staff is also helpful and attentive.

Disgusting customer service! If there was a zero star I would give I came in to get a few things and while I was getting my stuff checked out the employee was giving me a funny look almost holding a laugh absolutely disgusting hiring these bratty kids!

The employees at this store are always so pleasant! It is a nice clean store. I always do curbside pick up. They work so hard always courteous and thoughtful about pick my items and substitutions. I would like to suggest we can tip them again. I think they really deserve it.

Food prices are insane! Stop and Shop is one of the main contributers of the insanity. Prices are far too high, and the "get you in the store" sales are digital coupons that you need to jump through hoops to get. Save some money and go elsewhere.

My husband and I saw a discount on some produces which was convenient, so we took them. We saw the discount plate together and had a small discussion over it. When it was time to pay, the produces didn't pass on sale so i called for help. The first worker said, it was going on sale tomorrow, then called another one (in meantime 10 minutes passed) to go check. This other worker, who was very rude (but i understand people can be tired), went to check and there was no discount but (again very rude) she applied it anyhow (i was about to leave the produces there). i wasn't happy though, wanted to show that the discount were real so i went back to take a photo and the discount plate had disappeared. There was one guy who was working the shelves and asked him what happened, that few minutes before there was a discount plate there and he was insisting that it was impossible!!! unless i am getting crazy, these people were clearly lying over my face and my husband face. Unfortunately, I don't believe in collective hallucinations, at least without any substance in the middle. Anyhow, this is what happened: the sale was there last week (i hadn't gone at this supermarket in ages so i had no idea), and someone didn't remove the plate. Once i was about to pay and the whole story came up, some worker went at the shelf and removed the plate. p.s: we are talking 8$ discount over some yogurts (facepalm)

I truly appreciate the Stop&Shop Team being available for the customers every day. No matter what time you arrive to shop, the store is always clean and the shelves are stockedThe cashiers are always so courteous and respectful. It is also nice to see the team working in the parking lot and cleaning the shopping carts. Thank you so much for all that you have done and continue especially during this pandemic that has effect all of us.

This is a nice supermarket a little bit on the large side but the produce was all very nice and the seafood that I purchased was fresh and the man behind the counter was knowledgeable. You can find pretty much anything you need here and if you don't find something there's another stop & shop just down the road - also a big store the best thing about these stores is if you open an account and have a card from the store you can get a price gun and register your purchases and put them in the bag as you take them off the shelf this way you don't have to wait in line and take your stuff back out of the cart have it checked out and then put it back in your bags again this is an excellent idea and when I'm done shopping I'm out of the store in 2 minutes. I highly recommend you try that.It really is a great way to do your shopping and get out of the store quickly.

It’s a little small and I think the things are shelved in weird spots.. like certain foods being in other aisles than what it’s related to. Still a decent store!

I am a long time shopper of stop and shop. For about the past 7 years I have been unable to drive due to a disability, so I do the online ordering and my husband picks it up. I am not a picky person and it took me a long time to speak my peace. I understand that the orders aren’t always perfect but there have been numerous occasions when things have gotten messed up. I have ordered whole chickens at a certain weight ( to feed so many people) only to get one that’s at least 2 lbs less and other times at the lowest end for a 6-8pb I’ve never gotten over 6lbs. I have gotten I item when things were buy one get one. Items replaced with ones completely different from what I ordered, expired products. Sometimes there’s one thing ore, sometimes several and rarely nothing. But I don’t have the option of going into the store to pick my own products. I have emailed on many occasions through the site and only one time in the very beginning got a response when it was Peapod. The last straw was my last order. I ordered a 20-24lb Turkey that was under 20 lbs and Again ordered a buy one get one free item. This time I put 2 in the order just in case but when I did a warning sign popped up saying you are ordering multiple orders. So changed the order to one. But as usual I didn’t get the second one. It’s very frustrating because my husband works very hard and now has to take time out to go to the store just to pick us a bag of potatoes so we are not short on Thanksgiving. Like I said, I understand these things happening once in a while. But lately there’s been more and more issues and the worst part is no one reaches out to me when I contact them. I just really hope things improve because I really like stop and shop and it’s the only place I’ve shopped for food for as long as I can remember

I <3 stop and shop. Love the seeing all the locals who work/shop there and familiar faces that ive known growing up. Also i love how they are involved with the community. They recently managed a fundraiser for a tragedy that happened in hempstead. i assume they got many to participate ( including myself) because it was a raffle and the prize was awesome.

big stop and shop with a lot of fresh organic options. I bought a different kind of avocados (red in color) and I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and taste. My kids love the lunchables and they were on sale this week, so we stocked up on them. They also have a lot of variety with different items throughout the store.The flowers are always fresh and reasonably priced.

Good layout and good selection of sale items. Staff is always helpful and professional. The other night I wanted a specific type of creamer that wasn't on the shelf and two gentlemen working in that department were very helpful. One gentleman went to the backroom to search for the product. The other gentleman continued to put stuff on the shelf but made me feel welcome by small talking with me while his co-worker searched in backroom, which was great because I wasn't just waiting and the time goes quicker. In the end, the creamer was found and it was yet another good experience. This store is always my go to, especially for their great dairy and frozen food selections.

There are 2 very nice people in produce; Sal and (sorry that I'm going to misspell it) Leowbou. I had gone there at 8:30am on a Sunday looking for a fresh fruit platter but only saw 2 from the day before. Sal exercised good judgement, asked if I could wait a bit and Leowbou made me 2 fruit platters to chose from. I didn't ask for a fresh one to be made just for me but they stopped what they were doing to provide excellent customer service!

Our favorite place for food shopping. Better then shop rite or king Kullens for sure. Shelves ate pretty stocked. And it's clean and no funny odors. Prices and sales are really good.

Dealing with a customer service representative due to not having wifi in store to clip my coupon was a NIGHTMARE!! She accused me of ALREADY USING it, while I told her I DIDN'T. She wasn't willing to help me, even though ALL the other stop n shops I've been to- ex: Coram, Ronkonkoma, Farmingville & Medford have ALWAYS been more than accommodating!!! Many seniors don't have a smart phone to clip, and customer svc will assist.I ended up just paying more, not to continue to hold up the line. I stepped away and finally got a signal & showed this rude angry cust svc rep( I know her name- but am trying to be kind) my UNUSED coupon and wanted to get my discount. She continued with her attitude ( like she thinks she OWNS the store) gheez the discount is offered and it's NOT coming outta her pocket!!! She said, well I'll need to return it and you'll need to re-purchase, I sd fine. She proceeds to do return but felt she NEEDED to explain that in THE FUTURE clip the coupon ahead etc etc before coming back. I literally SHOUTED - I'M NEVER EVER COMING BACK HERE to RP!!I wasn't going to post this, but felt the need as I just got exceptional service in the Ronkonkoma store. I needed to return yesterday's bought Butterball turkey CM, 3 packs for $10...They were spoiled when I opened them to put in freezer bags(smelt bad) NP they apologized and said you're getting DOUBLE refund..I was surprised and happy as it was an inconvenience. This is how GOOD STORES SHOULD OPERATE!!Thank you for your time. Hopefully I get a response.

Constantly out of basic needs. This week they had absolutely not ONE international delight coffee creamer. Not “oh they don’t have my flavor” no they had NONE. The bags of lettuce are always ROTTEN. Produce is usually crummy. This weekend none of their self check scanners worked. It’s always something at this store. The price gouging here is getting crazy too.
