I love this place! The people that work here are very nice, the owner even gave me a free leash & training advise. They always cut my maltese hair exactly how I like it. They show my Snowy allot of love and while he is getting his haircut my dad is buying fish, he loves the fish at this store. We come all the way from Long Island and I really think you all should visit this place. Rockapup you Rock!!!

I shopped here back in October when my family and I decided to add a cat to our family. The staff was delightful and very helpful with regard to the supplies needed for our furry friend. The supplies are a little pricey, but not shocking for a mom and pop shop. I would definitely recommend Rockapup to friends and family.

This store is exactly what Rockaway is all about! An informed local staff who are always willing to help and offer their knowledgeable advice on what products are best for your pet no matter what your needs or budget is. The store is clean and welcoming and also stocked with unique products you won't find at any chain pet store

Today I went into Rock A Pup to purchase some stuff for our new frog. I took my three year old with me. He was picking out things for the tank and accidentally dropped something on the floor and it broke. The manager informed me that I would have to pay for it, which was fine. My son asked what was wrong and I replied to him, "It's okay, sometimes children have accidents." The manager responded with " While adults shouldn't and you should be watching your kid." The entire time I was discussing with the manager what would be best for my frog, while my son stood next to me. I would highly recommend not shopping in an establishment that has such a lack of respect for their customers and children.

Dear Rockapup (Paula and Jennifer)Me and my wife would like to express our sincere thanks to both of you. On Saturday, 2/25/17 we received terrible news that our beloved schnauzer Jeffrey Valentine has lymphoma. We were very upset and took Jeff to the beach, one of his favorite places and then to Rockapup for a full grooming. The kindness and love that was shown to Jeffrey by Paula and Jennifer redeemed my faith in people. You both helped me and my wife through a very difficult day! If I could give this place no stars I would, I took my 6 month old Yorkie poo to get groomed and when I picked him up it was horrible, I told the groomer I wanted his hair TRIMMED they cut my dogs hair almost bald. So I was already pissed off about that, then his hair cut came out to $75 which I believe is wayyyyyy to much for a 10lb Yorkie poo. Then comes the worst part when I came home I noticed a piece of his ear is off. YESSSSS A PIECE OF HIS EAR IS OFF !!!! I am so mad just talking about it ! I don't know what exactly happened but I know for sure he didn't have that when he went in for grooming. I started to examine him after that and I also noticed that he has red marks and a scab by his mouth which look fresh. I don't know what happened but please keep your dogs very farrrrr away from this place !!!!!

recently had my yorkie groomed. The groomer gave him the wrong cut and bleeding nails. when I got home and put him down he bled all over my floor. By then they were closed and I had to use the web the find out what to do. Dishonest groomers.
