As a Brit this place is a real taste of home. The pub itself is a lovely, cozy, place that has all the charm of an authentic British local. The cask beers are traditional to the UK but hard to find in the States, so if you’re looking to try something different, this is the spot. The grounds are also spectacular with gorgeous views on Seneca Lake. Other highlights are the cask beer festival they hold in the summer, as well as Bonfire Night, which is a traditional British holiday that takes place on Nov 5th. They also sell popular UK snack foods and other imported treats. The last time I visited they still hadn’t found a new chef, but I hear they are trying to reopen the kitchen as soon as they can. There’s nothing else quite like it in the area.

An interesting experience! Park in the lot and walk into what almost seems like the front door of someone’s house. Enter into an old pub. When we visited the cutest 12 week old puppies - Mags & Willow - we’re running around. Adorable! Cask beers were good. For those that want something colder - their can beers are locally sourced and I noticed many getting cocktails. Come here if you’re looking for a very casual, feel-like-a-local pub-like environment.

Erin, was our caretaker. Very traditional UK pub. Those who are not familiar the beer on tap is warm. Excellent service, great vibe and atmosphere. $10 charge for cellphone use while in pub except for photos and I love that! Amazing mixed drinks.

It's not a wardrobe door you step through but walking through transports you to a pub in Great Britain. Having visited GB recently, it's amazing to have an establishment like this to visit on this side of The Pond. The Flight Of Pies (savory) is a masterpiece as are the beers. Friendly, knowledgeable staff make this a must-stop! 20/10!

This is such a fun surprise of a place, like walking into a different world. The owner and Megan were so fun to talk to and the drinks were delicious. We had the stout and the golden ale. Highly recommend to visit.

Visiting from NYC and our local friends took us here for an awesome Friday night at the pub! Terrific food - the pasties were out of this world good. Reuben was more of a meal than just a sandwich. And was awesome. Had the Saison ale and could drink this daily. Great place. Do yourself a favor and pop in.

Quiet, cozy place with a cat! Good options for beer and some wines. Vegetarian options include bean burgers and vegetable pot pies. The peas are really good as well. My chicken curry pie was good, but a bit dry.

We visited here after many people told us to check it out. We had a very fun experience. The bar tender was knowledgeable and friendly, the atmosphere was consistent and fun and the product was great. It feels like you walked into a British pub and the ales are all cask ales which no one else around here makes. For a truly different experience and alot of fun swing by and have a pint or 5.

Very cool vibe here. FYI the beer is poured at room temperature! Not a bad thing! Opened my palate for a type of beer not really available in the area. It looks like you're going into a house. Def will go back 🤗

All cask ales for an authentic British pub experience. Fantastic beers, the barley wine was amazing. Power was out from a storm while we were there, but still had a great time. Want to go back and try their food some time, the veggie curry pie sounded great.

British pub in the Fingerlakes with indoor/outdoor seating, amazing cocktails, cask beer and beautiful views. I drank most of the martini before I thought to get a pic- they were that good!! And now they have two puppies to play with. 1❤️

The beer was fine, it's all English style so you have to enjoy that to like the beer. They also have cans from other breweries if you aren't a fan. We tried the veggie burger and Reuben. The Reuben was tasty but don't get the veggie burger.

Amazing place, this is the largest hand pull taps selection that I have seen. Their British style pub atmosphere is very relaxing and we loved the"no cell phone" rule. There are several choices of serving sizes including flights. It is clear on their site that all they serve is cask beer on hand pull served at cellar tempature. We were there on a quiet evening and spent a long time chatting with the other who was very friendly and interesting to converse with.

Excellent cask beers and views. The people are so kind and welcoming, as are the pups! We go out of our way to stop by as often as we can.

This British inspired pub inside of a small warehouse definitely feels like a little slice of being across the pond without leaving the Finger Lakes. From the British style ales on draught to the dart boards and footie on the tele, it’s smashing brilliant. The beer is good, though the Old Toad stood out the most and the others were fairly average, though solid. The place has a nice friendly vibe and on nice days, there’s even outdoor seating at tables off the parking lot.

Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. I am local and have been here before a few years ago and decided to get it another try with some friends. When we walked in there was only two or three people inside and two people behind the bar, we were not greeted, We sat down at the bar, and again we’re not acknowledged. we decided on our drinks but the waitstaff seemed as if they did not have the ingredients for their own menu items and The menu did not reflect the ingredients of the drinks they gave us, our drinks were extremely water down. I had to return mine but my friend decided to keep hers because she said she didn’t want to drink that much anyways and what she got was just like drinking watery juice. Even though there were less than 20 people in the entire building the staff seemed very frazzled. We ended up having to stand because all of the outdoor seating was extremely Wibbly wobbly, There was confusion with our bill but was eventually settled. The folks were nice enough, but it was not a welcoming environment. The live musician was very talented but we will not be coming back here.

Pains me to say this but this was definitely not the beer I had in years past. Both the bitters, Baker st and ESB, were sour in an unpleasant way and sadly I had to walk outside and pour the Steamship (I think it was this beer) out- tasted like lacquer. Clutter everywhere including two misbehaved puppies. This was a knife to my heart and I left depressed. I didn’t have it in me to give it 1 star but sadly it deserves it.

Cool place with good beers, I liked their stout. These are traditional English beers, but all handmade and taste. We did the Glamping experience, it was pretty great. The tent was secluded, access was easy though. Clean and well set up.

Great selection of real ales served from a cask. (Stout being my favorite) Loved the British pub vibe inside. I've seen many comments complaining about warm flat beer - this issue is with people being uneducated on cask conditioned real ale and not the beer itself! Would strongly advise that people did their homework prior to visiting as you'll be very disappointed when you don't receive ice cold fizzy beer that you may be used to.

Something smelt a little rank during our visit, but I'm guessing they were just setting up the place. The beers are okay, in my opinion they somehow missed the mark to traditional English ales. Should say that they were a stickler to the no cell phone policy, which actually worked out at the end.

We stopped for dinner after checking out their website, it looked like they had a great menu. The place had a cool entryway. As we walked in we were greeted by a very nice bar tender, when she saw our children, told us that the kitchen was closed due to them not having a chef. I get that, but there should have been some notice on the website as the food options are pretty far apart right around there, even a sign outside. As of me writing this, there is now a notice on the website, but I only saw that on my computer, not my phone. She did suggest a place up the road but we just ended up going into town. I love beer and was excited to try what they had to offer. I was let down on their hefeweizen, it was warm and flat. My wife ordered something not beer - maybe some bubbly wine, again, flat, no bobbles and warm. I was curious about the "glamping" they offer for $175 per night so I walked around the property. It's a big tent on a platform with a large bed in it. If I booked that, there was no food options due to a closed kitchen, and the beer was bad, I'd be mad. I'm an avid camper and I would not spend $175 a night for that. There is only one tent, so you can't even camp with friends. It's really a shame that a place like that has so much potential to be super cool can't live up to what they could be.

Love this place. Big fan of cask ales and that's all they have. Been to a lot of places in the US but this is the only place that I know of with so many hand pumps. Had a great time.
