First time here today and I must say, definitely a nicer vibe than what I experienced at a different larger music store earlier this week elsewhere. Shame on me for not coming here sooner and supporting a smaller business. Steve had everything I needed and was so polite and even took the time to speak to my nephew and I. Nice selection of guitars, accessories and other gear new and used. I'll be back, you have gained a customer 👍🎸🎶🙂

This is a magical place filled, literally, floor to ceiling with all things music. Steve is knowledgeable and has a wide variety of everything from sheet music to instruments at varying price points. Steve genuinely cares about each customer, whether you're a professional (me) or a beginner (my daughter). Steve's is the first place I go for all my music needs and I cannot recommend this store enough.

My boyfriend and I aren’t from around this area we live in NJ, the other day we were on a ride back from the Galleria mall and we saw Steve’s music shop sign from the highway, when we pulled up it looked a bit small but as soon as we entered there was so much to look at ! Steve was helpful, let us explore as we wanted too and offered assistance. He has an electric guitar room, acoustic room, some really awesome pedals in stock! My boyfriend was seriously interested in buying a pedal and Steve set us up with a guitar, stool and pedal. He bought the pedal and Steve welcomed us back any time. Truly this shop is a gem, we will stop again!

Steve's Music Center is a great local music store. I have known Steve for over 25 years and been a customer for just as long. He has a great selection of effect pedals, accessories, pickups, new and used instruments, amps, a dedicated acoustic guitar room, and a big library of music books and tab. If you don't live nearby, you can order from the website and Steve will personally pack and ship your order anywhere in the country and beyond. Steve even has on site music lessons available and if you need a guitar or piece of equipment repaired, he will take care of you! By the way, Steve is one of nicest guys you'll ever meet! Support your local music shop!

though store is a little hard to navigate then that Steve is extremely helpful and the prices are highly competitive Though one of the greater things about steves is his guitar tech he is the only tech I've used who has placed as much care into my instrument as he would his own.

What can I say about Steve that hasn't been said? I remember him from his previous location in Monticello and he's been the go to guy for all of Sullivan county. Usually that situation sucks but Steve is fantastic. Whether you need student beginner items, used equipment on the cheap, or you wanna geek out over technicalities before making a large purchase... He's a great human being and not so surprisingly, an established musician in his own right with knowledge extending just about everywhere. Okay brass tacks.... I've purchased guitars from the man, I've sent people there, brought people there, laughed at musicians who complain about their dicey Craigslist deals. Hahahah! Stop wishing, start playing dummies!
