This is my go-to Wegmans. Although it's smaller than most other Wegmans in Rochester, the selection is pretty good. It's catered to those who live in the area, which makes sense. The layout inside is a little bizarre when you're used to the Webster and Penfield Wegmans, but I manage to find almost everything I want. Some specialty items aren't stocked here.The parking lot situation is a little weird. They've blocked off the middle of the parking lot where you pull in. I'm not sure if they did this to somehow aid in security or something, but it makes for crammed parking lot situation. It's difficult to pull in and out when it's really busy.Overall, I still choose to go here most of the time, because it's the closest Wegmans to my house.Convenient location. Not the largest variety and inventory. Parking is a bit tight and the parking lot setup is goofy.

I get anxiety every time I come to this location. I try to avoid it at all cost. Way too crowded… people and products. You can barely find parking. And everyone is miserable. The worst.

I had to check out Wegmans in Rochester since everyone swears by it! It’s a really nice alternative to Whole Foods…. I still would pick Whole Foods over this, but that’s a personal preference.

This is one of the wonkier Wegmans in the area. I prefer the Pittsford location even though it’s a little out of the way for me because of issues I’ve dealt with at this location.The parking lot is terrible; walking to put my cart away, a woman earlier almost hit me to cross through several spots to leave by the front of the store, and then a car going the opposite direction almost hit her after I walked past. It’s a bad design and people are careless in it.Product selection is weird too. They’ll have some things and then 1-2 items short that the other stores have. (For example, several of the Fever Tree mixers but not the ginger one, or only the diet version of some sodas, like Dr. Brown’s). If they do carry what you’re looking for, 8/10 times, they’re out of it. I’m not sure if it’s a stocking issue or what, but I’ve run across this for basic necessities on several occasions for things like detergent.Also, several times I’ve been told I can’t use self check out. It says “twenty items or less” and I’ve been told I can’t use self check out despite meeting that requirement, even when it’s not busy. They have two whole self check out areas, will keep one open, and then still turn you away even if you clearly don’t have over twenty items. It’s not worth the hassle to argue with the employees either, but if you’re going to turn away your customers from using self check out, then there should be more registers open.Honestly, between all these factors, I’d rather drive over to the Pittsford store even if I need something simple like milk and eggs or clothes detergent because I’d rather not deal with the continuous problems and hassle I’ve dealt with at this location.

This store is the worst in the entire Wegmans franchise. Convenient location is the only thing it has going for it. The parking lot is a nightmare, the aisles are narrow, selections are limited, and the staff is less friendly than other locations. Over the past several years, Wegmans has increased their prices, and has removed my favorite name brands for the subpar “Wegmans” brands. Back in the day, Wegmans brands were a great way to save money - not anymore. It seems they’ve increased the prices of every other name brand item so Wegmans brands can appear slightly lower, while maximizing their margin. Overall, quite frustrated with Wegmans as a whole, but this store is above and beyond painful to shop at.

They got halal goat cubes! Was surprised. They should have or just make all chicken and beef to be halal and Muslim community can also purchase the meat. Added profit for you. Think about it.Like in Dubai, both Muslims and non Muslims can enjoy same meat because they are halal. Win win for all.

Wegmans is amazing. This was ‘recently’ remodeled too. It has a new look but definitely has a very different feel on the inside. It’s much smaller than your typical Wegmans. Really great place though. Parking can be a nightmare in this location at times.

Wegmans East Ave. has lost its' luster. Much poorer quality prepared foods as well as prefered brand loss on shelves and limited to Wegman brands. Stocking is unreliable and is constantly interfering with customer shopping activities. Staff are impersonal and robotic Seems a legend is slowly dying.

Floor sweeper guy is very rude. He doesn't know how to say excuse me to people. I saw him almost run into a few people including myself without saying a word. Just kept going. Very impolite. I'll choose another store to shop

Wegmans East Avenue has been going downhill over the past year. I have lived in the Park Ave area and gone to this Wegmans for 30 or so years and am seriously considering doing all my shopping elsewhere unless things start to change.

Love this grocery store it's really an amazing place to find all kinds of different foods from all over the world. There is a huge assortment of snacks and treats for any age. A wide selection of cooking supplies. Foods from all genres and cultures. You can spend hours shopping or just a few minutes if you follow signs and use express checkout. Really helpful staff always looking to assist or help you to the care if needed. Even dining for freshly prepared foods, a dinner hall, etc... Not much else you can ask for.

Out of all the Wegman’s in the greater Rochester area, this one is the worst. However, its conveniently located so we go here often. The customer service today is making us question this decision. We spend over $100/week, every week, and among our regular purchase is a brand of vacuum sealed lamb. Its usually a good brand, but one day we got unlucky and one of two packages of lamb, the smaller less expensive one, stank to the high heavens when we opened it. I am heavily pregnant so we didn’t want to risk having it so into the bin it went. Luckily the bigger one was fine. When we came in later with the receipt and explained what happened they said they could only give a refund if we either brought in the product or took a picture. I don’t see the point of requiring a picture of meat that stinks— it would look fine, the picture tells you nothing. I don’t think they would want us to bring an open package of rotten stinky meat. If there was a way to record the stench and send it back to them we would’ve. More importantly, it was just $5 that they could’ve refunded out of trust that we just wanted compensation for a product we purchased but couldn’t use. Instead they insisted on a sticking to a procedure that doesn’t make sense for the circumstance and it made us really feel unappreciated as regular customers. Probably won’t be regulars anymore. Not to this branch at least.

My father recently went to Rochester on a business trip. There, he found a Wegmans and fell in love. He said the food variety was insane. A good wholesome store that is an experience for the whole family.

Haven't been to this location in 25 yrs. Updated to reflect the rest of the stores but on a smaller footprint. Very busy location but plenty of parking.

Generally a very good shopping experience. Parking lot can be maddening, but getting there early minimizes the hassle. We pre-order subs frequently and usually they are great. Lately have been a bit sub-par, sometimes missing ingredients or getting instructions wrong.

Wegmans is awesome , the only drawback to this one is that there is a small parking lot and a lot of people in and out ! It used to be a much smaller wegmans that was remodeled so the older portion of the grocery store seems a little condensed. Such great prepared food and so many choices !

Went in to a different Wegmans then i normally do my shopping at today. Other then the entire building getting a bit more cramped. A tighter layout with less aisle space. The store had everything i was looking for. Had a great conversation with the cashier. No complaints whatsoever.

I love shopping at Wegman's. It has always been my favorite groceries stores. They have great customer service. The lines are never backed up down the isle. If they do get long, there's always someone there watching and send customers to a shorter line. Even if it's a 7 items or less line. Great for customer service 👍. For this particular Wegman's on East Ave, I love the romantic Italian restaurant scene 😍

Management sucks!! Won’t take care of customers. The whole entire staff for the pharmacy is behind the counter and the say they don’t open for another 20 minutes. My son’s medicine was put in on Friday and on back order we got the ready call on Sunday. Kenny the manager at the s location will not assist in helping get me my son’s medication. They tell me that I have to sit here and wait because the registrars are not open yet. I do not even have to pay for this medication as it is covered by insurance. Customers are supposed to be taken care of and put first at all times. I guess not at this location or with Kenny managing. Get a new manager that is not 18!!!!

Regular Wegmans outstanding produce, meats and dairy products. Pricey but sometimes worth the extra cost. This particular location has one of the better bakery selections and is far less busy on a weekday mid afternoon than Pittsford Plaza or location on Pittsford Palmyra Road. Close and easy parking, more considerate other customers.

I was able to get in and out pretty quickly, though it was like 7:30 PM on Halloween.Today was Valentines day, and I was there right around 5PM. Pretty busy, lots of people in store and the parking was difficult, BUT, I was still able to get in and out fairly easily.
