Very impressed with this store. This is where you need to be for all your camping, hunting, and outdoorsy activities. The inventory is endless. The clothes are good quality and the prices are very fair. Another good thing about this store is the customer service. They were all very helpful and they didn’t have a attitude, when I ask questions about different items.

This place is a great experience. The amount of taxidermy there is amazing. When boys were younger, they loved coming here to see the different animals. I like this place for the wide selection they have. From hunting to fishing to camping to hiking. They have it all! Though you may find prices cheaper in other places, I feel they are reasonable. That staff is what makes this place. They are susally understaffed. However, if you have time to meet with one, they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I can imagine how hard it would be to staff enough people so this isn't a slam against the management, just my observation. Overall a very nice place!

I do not recommend. There are better places to go for ammo. I've been here twice and the first time wasn't great but okay. The second time was awful. It took over well an hour to buy ammo. Only 2 employees working and one of them was rude when I had a question. Again, better places to go for ammo or outdoor needs.

Had one of the worst experiences buying a gun. Employee leaned on my new gun with his elbow for a minute I proceed to kindly ask him not to do that. When Eric from their Rochester store started making fun of me to other employees literally feet away from me. I’ll never shop here again, these employees working the gun counter are terrible people.

In general I like the store. They are alittle pricy. I went to purchase a rifle they told me I had to order it online b.c they wouldn't order me one threw the store. I asked if they price matched, they said yes and I inquired about a few different ones I saw online. They insured me they would match 2 of those. When arriving to pick up the rifle they no longer price matched the stores they said they price matched. After showing about 8 different stores that were cheeper we got nowhere. Don't trust them when they say they price match and I was told if I didn't like it to shop somewhere else.

They don’t know jack about guns in the firearms department. Rude,slow, constantly messing up paper work everytime I buy a firearm. Giving people the wrong information. It’s just a weird uncomfortable feeling everytime I buy a firearm. They have good prices compared to other places but that’s it.

Takes a little while to buy ammo with all the background checks, and if there's a line, but a huge selection to choose from. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to.

It takes forever to get any sort of assistance buying ammunition. Took a number and waiting 25 minutes just for the number on their display to not change. I understand theres new rules with background checks but the bottom line is there were not enough staff to operate the way they have it set up. I finally said forget it and went to the front of the store with the rest and not the ammunition I originally came there for. While checking out I asked to buy a DMP for my zone because there where some available. The response I got was "I'll need to check out everyone in line behind you before I can sell you one". Its not hard to handle that and with only one employee at the front of the store the line was only going to get longer. Largely due to staffing issues this once convenient store has now turned into a massive waste of time.

If you don't mind waiting 20 plus minutes for assistance evertime you go in, it's the place for you. Don't expect a call back like you're told because you will need to keep calling them for status.

I love this location. I bought a Mossberg 88 online here from the advice I received from the employees. This location always welcomes me and asks if I need help. They always try to help me however they can. I really appreciate great customer service. I wish everyone would treat there customers with respect

Levon was quite rude today. That's unlike his character since every other time we've had encounters, he seemed very friendly and helpful. I will give him the benefit of the doubt in saying he was in a bad mood. But if I ever get treated again in a similar fashion, he will be reported to the store manager and to corporate. 5/21/23

I don't think it's anything they did, I shoot in pistol competition im licensed in 4 different states anywhere I go to purchase a pistol it's a easy flow but for some reason everytime I purchase one from them I get denied and have to go through the whole challenge system, I heard complaints from other buyers also, so I will no longer be spending my money there especially with these new n.y. state laws coming

Decided to stop here to see if there were any sales. Good choice. Got a pair of winter slippers and six pairs of winter socks for just over $20. Bargain today. Even though we are ready for spring, some good buys on winter clothing.

Left a review on here in early December about 3 instances of being treated horribly at their store. 3 times, I went in and was called dude. They refused to help with a Paypal return which the store accepts. I'd ask for help and people would walk the other way. They left a response to my last review asking me to call them or contact customer service via email. I contacted customer service in mid December via email, and still have not heard anything back from them, and it's now February. I tried so hard to like this place, because it's the last brick and mortar store in my area that I can physically go in and buy items. Wish I could post the video I had of the interaction on here, of the last time I went in. Paying my card off in full this week and cutting it up, just for the sole fact that they told me to contact customer service and when I did...crickets.

My husband and his 80 year old friend felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome today. They were followed constantly by security and treated like shoplifting teenagers. Both men shop there often and are very disappointed with their treatment. Also instead of giving change for 35 cents on the gift card a balance remains. Really? 35 cents! No wonder the place was empty!!! If no star was available I would pick that.

I miss the Points Program F&S had. You could get really good deals. The rewards program here is terrible. Otherwise, Great store with great staff! They have lots of ammo and reloading components but they also have the weirdest caliber selections. 7.62x39 is pretty common but the don't have any yet they have 7x57, 38 super and 50bmg. 7.62x39 is arguably more popular than any of those three. They also don't carry .311/303 reloading bullets.
