Avoid this place. Not only overcharging but then charging me twice instead of a refund. Kept swiping my card over and over saying she wanted to fix it and would only causing issues. I asked her several times to just stop. A simple errand for a friend caused me so much not only time wasted waiting for manager to screw me but drama to follow due to her incompetence. Ended up calling corporate and have never heard back. Still waiting. Sent another email with pics and video. Still have not gotten any type of refund that is due to me or the second charge dropped or an apology. Neither management nor corporate want to take any responsibility whatsoever. So simply put I was robbed. This place is beyond ghetto just looking at it so does not entirely surprise me. No one upkeeps the parking lot or strip and you being the only corporate store in the bunch you should take some effort to make the it nicer, but you do the opposite. The manager is not only incompetent but rude and cause people great harm knowingly with no care. This store just needs closed down. They literally will rob you here. I was also overcharged through the app prior to this at another location got no help and just cancelled my order due to poor management at that location. If I was corporate I would just close these local stores. I won't shop with this company anymore due to them.

The lady working today put her hands on me and grabbed my purse. I’m suing her for assault seeing as you’re to unprofessional to answer your phone. I got proof you put your hands on me grabbed my purse and have nothing on camera. See you in court and also I’m contacting head quarters. Very unprofessional low life , treating lady. Serving you papers next week for assault. Already talked to sheriff. You had no right to put your hand on me! Good luck, you suck at your job and will be fired. You don’t put your hands on a customer and grab her belongings. I study the law so whoever was working around 4:30 , see you court for assault

I had the worst experience going to this family dollar. The staff was being mad rude because I wouldn't put my bag in the front with my Nintendo switch and my Acer Chromebook down in the front and I only come for a few items. I will never go to a family dollar again. I'm going to be doing all my shopping at rite aid for now on.

I personally don't have a problem with the Family Dollar in my area except for the fact that there's too many people in line and there's too many people walking around and there's not another cashier open but for the most part things are well stocked and the people are friendly but it's just not enough people when it's time to cash that's my only dilemma

Terrible staff staff is the worst staff I’ve ever encountered in my life!! No shopping carts because staff use them to hold inventory they haven’t shelved rather than having them for use for customers this place and the staff is soo ghetto it’s sad fire the whole damn team

I'm done with this store! It's unorganized and I never fail to get cheated one way or the other ,either they don't bag all of my items or I'll purchase something not full or short an item I only go there cause it's close to my job but never againI'll travel far and wide before I step foot in this hood store full of thieves on registers.

This store is the absolute worst store in city of Rochester.All the employees are rude.. Don't help when ask for it..I witness a male employee be so rude to a elderly woman.. It was horrible. Get rid of all the employees.. And hire people that want a job and can handle customer service.

Won't be going here again. Horrible employees. 5 employees and 1 cashier today - all in the way of customers. One of them is mopping the store without a caution sign with a line of customers. Standing in line and the rude cashier tells me to move out of a customer's way.

There's a Chinese place right next door to the dollar store but yeah there is a dollar store in the plaza there's a little Plaza over there and I go by there and good Chinese food every once in awhile but right next door there is a dollar store

It's an average place to shop the only criticism I have is the policy of making shoppers leave book bag and backpacks up with the cashiers while you shop it makes you feel like a criminal
