Its your local Rochester dollar general. I mean what do you expect? Everythings $1 of course its low quality lol. The staff were great, attitude as always. The isles are a mess, there's things strewn everywhere. A lot of the shelves are empty. The parking lot is trash all in front of the door and in the parking lot.

The staff was very kind. The location is very run down and feels unsafe. The store was very well stocked and was surprisingly enjoyable. All that ends once you step out the door. Vagrants approach you for money, and it feels sketchy.

I seen an employee here pull out her taser on a shoplifter. These stores have a really tough job with all the shoplifting happening these days. I give them props for the work they have to do.

So much left goes on in the store by people posing as customers. It's hard for the staff to keep an eye on what's happening and check people out at the same time. Very convenient parking, friendly staff but it gets along being harassed by people outside trying to sell what they just stole.

The staff is friendly, but most of the merchandise is not on the selves,it's just n creates waiting to be stock. Usely I don't find what I need. But they do have lots of stuff at reasonable fair prices. It's on a bus line. And easy for me to walk to. Their hours are good to. But the covid-19 has really had an impact on that store, so if you're in the neighborhood please stop in

You can always find something here for the occasion. Great place to shop on a budget or if you just want to decorate a place on a low budget. They have all kinds of party supplies, toiletries, cleaning and cooking supplies. Great place to pickup children's tutoring or school supplies and seasonal nick naks. Everything is $1.00 so you have to be careful it adds up quickly. The staff is very pleasant.

Brenfa, Danielle and the rest of the staff here are fabulous! Very personable and hard workers. I don't think these people get Enough credit for the amount of work they do while still caring about their customers. Always happy to help me find something and always try to conversate with their customers while keeping up with the work load. Great people at this location.

The store is always a mess, nothing is ever stocked properly, they have carts and carts of stock blocking all the shelves almost every day, the staff are lazy and rude, and the pricetags rarely match what they charge at the register and most staff won't honor the price on the shelf.

The best one I have been to. Have probably anything you would ever need. House supplies, clothes, toys. It's a store full of adventures. I would recommend if you need something last minute for birthday party or house item to clean or items to cook.

A normal, convenient discount store where you can find anything from cellphones to laundry soap, and many grocery items as well. Most of the shops are well organized and clean, however I did go into one locally that looked as if a tornado had just passed through it.

Overall Dollar General is a good store to shop at. friendly cashiers make you want to shop there when I see smiling faces it lifts my spirits. prices are very good especially the ones we need everyday like toilet paper paper towels dishwashing liquid Etc.

The store is always in the middle of stocking hard to move aroundNo cash back is allowed and sometimes they close hours earlier before regular closing hours .

Some brand-name stuff and generic too. You have to wait in line and it's frustrating with one person on the register. Besides that it was pleasant today. Customer service was on point and I was surprised. They have a good selection of all different items. Check it out

The place was dirty like you could smell that it needed to be cleaned. Also the had whole shelves that had clearance fliers on them but nothing on those shelves were clearanced. Also the one cashier had about 8 people in her line while the other cashier was on her cell phone and when you tried to talk to her she would tell I'm not open even if you tried asking for help with something that had nothing to do with cashing out.

I appreciate the service! I do... But the clerks dont know when to ask people if they need help. They seen that many people needed assistance but continued to ignored it. Also the store is very cluttered.. Lastly get rid of the freakin dude outside selling his 5 dollar dvds nd cds and asking for donations.. Yea we feel ya pain bro but just fill out the application in front of the stores u standing in front of!

This is for management to see. We've never had any other issues with other employees but, Todays date is Wednesday Feb. 21st. 2018. My husband showed up at 7:57pm and an employee that looked white / puertorican with light skin and dark hair (female) said they were closed an did not let him in. To our understanding this location closes at 9pm, compared to other locations that close at 10pm. If this location is supposed to be open during these hours all the way till 9pm on wednesday night shifts, management needs to have a little chit chat with this employee. Google states this location closes at 9pm.

Dollar general ROCKS!!!! The best thing about the store is the great store manager LARRY!!!! We love him ! He does an awesome job and makes the store run smoothly thanks to him it is always a pleasure to visit he certainly is a great asset to the store and community... thanks dollar general ☺️☺️

The first register had problems, ex it wouldn't open at first and then it wouldn't scan items. So just be aware of this in case there is a line due to it not working properly. The manager came and opened another register after the line got into the isle. So that made up for it.

Checkout took forever and if you go through the wrong door to exit, they’ll tell you to go through the other door that has a janky door.

Outside and inside is gross looking people begging for money outside. Could find nothing I needed. The dollar General on Dewey Ave is way better.. I wish I didn't have to give a star

Excellent customer service! The M.O.D. went out of her way to assist me with navigating what products are accepted with United Health Care's OTC card...normally what is a arduous pursuit of eligable products and frustration fueled scavenger hunt, became a pleasent and suprising shopping experience! She was knowlegable, genuinely interested in helping, came out from behind the counter and handed me the list of items covered that General Dollar participates in providing. She offered to assist further if need be, and proceeded to check out procedure with me. I thanked her and staff robustly. She finished experience by directing my attention to the receipt survey and thanked me for stopping in and offered future assistance with Dollar General products if need be! Delightful!! Clean store! Considering the locale, and the issues our neighborhood Dollar General and we the consumers must contend with due to vagrents, panhandlers, hustlers, petty crime repeat offenders and nare do wells.

I like dollar general but went I went yesterday there was a blonde girl with no mask stealing people's identity saying she works for assurance keep her out the store and your employees tolerated that poor store service

Management's great the employees good, the store itself isn't bad at all it's the out side of the store I have a problem with.
