I came in Rochester for like 9 months now and this was my first visit to Costco. I had the best shopping experience of the decade. My words, so many collections of top quality food brands. Nothing comes close.

My son took us here to see what it's like.. I really love this place, it's got everything you could think of. The food was delicious that you eat upfront $1.99 for soda and a huge hot dog!! Great multi packs, only thing is, you have to shop there a lot, to take advantage of the membership fee in one year. That's why it's reasonable..I'll get one after holiday season👍

We occasionally travel across the border to explore the diverse range of products available that we don't find back home. Each visit reveals something new and interesting, which is a big part of the appeal. The staff members we interact with are always friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our shopping experience. However, it's worth noting that the place is perpetually bustling with activity, often resulting in long lineups. Despite the crowds, the variety and the warmth of the staff make the trip worthwhile.

I like the variety and quality of the products. They have lots of organic products and healthy options. I love that on the weekends theres so many samples in every aisle. I dislike that it’s crowded every time I have go regardless of the time.The food court pizza is not bad and I really liked the chicken bake. I did not like the fruit smoothie.

2/2024: The inside of the store looks just like California Costcos. 3/11/24: Nice workers. Wide variety of food & items. It's odd that they do not box your items for you. 3/24: Things are done differently here: staff said partly due to Covid. They do not box your purchases or wrap your pizza slices! You can not buy food court items at the register 🙄 when you're paying for your groceries. March, 2024: They had Hermes toilet water online for $96, compared to $161 per bottle at other retail stores.

It was my first time it was overwhelming, there are better times to go than others. Lines are long checking out you will get told what to do so remember. Prices are good but you have to buy large sizes and quantities. Parking is all around.

This seems to be a slightly larger Costco. The isles seemed slightly wider. They have 5 automotive bays. I liked how the self serve food kiosk was located in front of the food area.This location also sells gas. They don’t have as many pumps as my normal store, but it wasn’t crowded and the lines moved fast.

wow, the chicken was a good deal at 4.99the clothes were good deal $12 for 2 Eddie bauer's pants, the healthy drink, protein powder, healthy waffles were better price than other store. We bought a lot of good deal things. We enjoyed shopping at costco

Went to this location today to renew my membership after many years. Melanie K at the customer service desk was one of the most disgusting people I have ever met in my life. To start, after she explained to me about the "benefits" of the Executive level membership, I told her I still only wanted the basic Gold membership. She told the gentleman she was training "well there goes another gold star because he wants to be cheap." She then looked at me with disgust and proceeded on with the renewal. She started off very friendly, but as soon as I didn't get what she wanted me to get her whole demeaner changed. She wouldn't answer any other questions I had and spoke to me like I was stupid. When she took my photo for my membership card she said "smile good because obviously this is the only picture you can afford". I said "excuse me" and she replied "what? I didn't even say anything to you" so I moved on because obviously arguing with her was going to get no where. When she took my payment she said "Hope your card doesn't decline". I almost regret getting the membership and not renewing with BJ's. When I asked to speak to a supervisor regarding her, she told me she was the supervisor. Aside from her, the store was neat and had everything I needed in stock. Which is the only reason I give them any stars at all. Luckily I live the same distance between this store and another. I will not be returning to this location. She ruined my mood for the entire day.

Average costco and was set up as usual. The staff was friendly and helpful. The membership is great and the rewards are always great. Always great to buy bulk things here.

I just spent eleven hours waiting for service at the tire center on a warranty issue as a walk-in. I was told (repeatedly) that they had too many reservations in the way and they kept pushing my car and two others back while they took the reservations. At several points they were down to one car, but made me sit and wait until the entire store was empty and everything was locked. To be fair, they were still there, working on the three walk-in cars, but really? No estimate on the amount of time it would take cost me an entire day (surprise PTO), and a whole bunch of good will. I have removed the auto-renew function on my membership. It expires in June and I will not be renewing.Management needs to review the number of reservations they allow in a day and consider hiring more people to cover their customers.While at the store (early) I attempted to purchase half a dozen blueberry muffins (would be a dozen meals for me) and was told they only sell them in buy one, get one, made no attempt to go back to that section of the store to get a second (unnecessary) box for me. When I said I wouldn't take the one I had, they walked the rejected box back to baked goods. They could have gone to get a second box for me, but that didn't occur to them.I spent a bunch of money on infrastructure while I waited. I also picked up and looked through the catalog of stuff, the cruise and travel brochure, and the auto buying services. I also looked at home renovations. I need flooring for my attic. After this experience, Costco will not be getting any more of my money.To the gas station attendant's credit, I was the last customer at 9:35, but that's because I got there just as they were closing shop, after arriving at the store around 10:45am this morning. Most expensive gas fill-up ever. Going to BJ's after this.Ridiculous.

Want to recognize Nate Fisher who helped me in the parking lot. He saw me across the lot with a very large item. He stopped gathering carts to come help without me needing to ask. He helped try to fit the deck box in my car which wouldn't fit. Them helped me unbox it and get it in the car peice by peice. He then offered to get some twine for me to tie my trunk. I have struggled in the past getting help in the parking lot so this was a very pleasant surprise. He was extremely happy to help. You need more employees with his positive attitude!

--- 2024/05/01 ---This location is ALWAYS CRAZY BUSY, but we ❤️ Costco. The pharmacy team at this location is GREAT!--- 2023/11/20 ---LOVE💕 Costco and their associates... but REALLY think there needs to either:(1) MANDATORY "in warehouse" etiquette class for ALL new OR offending members to GET THE HECK OUT OF THE WAY‼️🤯(2) Paint traffic lanes throughout the entire warehouse so that INCONSIDERATE members have CONSTANT reminders to let others pass or maybe not block the 50 people behind you.🤯While I doubt either are likely to happen... it's fun to think about. 🤡--- ORIGINAL REVIEW ---We adore Costco and have moved as much of our annual household and related spend to them because their leadership clearly cares about their members & employees.More companies should follow the Costco leadership model! Do they do everything how I'd like... NO, but not gouging members just because ALL other retailers were... while paying associates living wages plus providing benefits... that's what ALL decent American businesses should arrive to be!

Its interesting coming into this wholesale store, there is something new all the time. Honestly I think the price for membership is a little steep if you're on a fixed income. Although BJ's does gives Veterans a discount on their membership.Although I really miss Sam's Club.

This Costco needs a significant upgrade on the quality of its meats and produce. More specifically the chicken, pork, and citrus fruits such as limes and clementines. The corn and bananas are not all that great either. The corn is not sweet and has deformities in its kernels. The bananas ripe way too fast. The store layout is good though. It is clean and generally uncluttered.

Bought a membership today. Customer service rep (Ahsan) was very knowledgeable and friendly. Checkout was super smooth. A nice experience even though it was a very busy afternoon.

Was in town making a mistake and was dragged here to see the rat race that Rochester has become. Too much for me. Not for me. The store was ok and clean enough, but they shouldn't let so many people in .. I'm not sure what the official capacity is, but I know they were way over that.

Couldn’t be more disappointed with my experience with the tire center. Ordered 4 for my wife’s Jeep. Was told we would be notified when they were in, we weren’t. Reached out to learn they had been there a week. Tried to schedule an appointment and was told they were scheduling a month out. Being December that wasn’t going to work. Tried calling the tire center multiple times but they don’t answer the phone. Called administration and was told “it’s noisy there and they’re working on cars”. Asked to have someone call us when they could. Got a call the next day and was told to drop it off, that they would fit it in. Dropped it off the following day when they opened. Got a call that night telling us they couldn’t get to it nor could they say when they could. Told us to come pick it up and drop it off the next day. Went back and picked up my wife’s Jeep and the tires, going to pay to have someone else install them even though we already paid Costco to do that. They couldn’t care less and left my wife to haul the tires across the parking lot to my truck. People were rude and unhelpful. Based on what I see now for reviews of Costco Tire Centers our experience was certainly not unique.Very surprised and disappointed. Have never had a bad experience at Costco, I love the place but now have a very bad taste in my mouth and still need to go somewhere else and pay a couple hundred dollars to do what Costco was paid to do. Complete garbage from start to finish. Avoid at all cost.

Stopped here last night to fill up a friend's tire with air. We were pressed for time, because he was leaving on a road trip in the morning, and were having trouble figuring out the air pump. Nick from the Tire Center was SO kind to give us a hand with it, even though I'm pretty sure it was past closing time. He had the tire inflated and ready to go quick as anything, and we were good to go! Thanks, Nick, for helping us out of a tight spot.

The store was very busy with folks doing post-Christmas shopping. I was a bit disappointed they did not have any local beers available. Otherwise, I was impressed by the other merchandise available and their gas prices.

I have a hard time finding items.My smart water was in the fourth different place the last 4 times I went to get it.The last time, it was in the water section, and my thoughts were finally.I have severe PTSD and Costco is difficult for me to shop in period. It is always crowded, good for you bad for me.I always atop shopping early because i have to leave. I end up finishing my shopping another day, someplace else, eg BJ's or Wegmans.

I have been a member at this Costco since its inception, but have been rethinking this membership. In the past year or so our household has been having persistent issues with the shelf life of their produce (no it’s not my fridge, which is brand new).The shelf life for various produce items has been 5 days or less and develops mold (see pictures below). To top it off, the returns process often takes 30-45 minutes no matter what time of day you visit which dissuades anyone to pursue a refund. I have thrown out hundreds of dollars of produce, and at this point might save money at wegmans instead. Get it together Costco.

Costco has outstanding prices on high-quality food, furniture, outdoor everything, seasonal goods, etc. I like to actually look at my furniture in person before purchasing, so no to online In store shopping is pleasant with lots of tasty samples to munch while you shop. Also, the grain-free dog food is the best deal around. My dogs look great on this food. Shiny coats and bright eyes.
