I am on automatic delivery from Petco and they are the best. The food is always fresh. My hair is always very fresh and crunchy and green. I have eight rescues a couple of times they sent me the wrong product. Well let me tell you they said keep it send it as a donation and we will replace your product. No problem and it was there the following day or the day after that they are amazing and God bless them.

Don't buy your pets from pet stores, especially Riverhead, NY Petco. This beautiful boy (male Syrian hamster) passed away less than a month after I got him. He was only a baby! I have comfort knowing that at least the time he spent with me, he had proper and loving care with a big home and appropriate sized wheel. His death was an absolute shock to us.In comparison, I have a Syrian hamster from a local reputable breeder that is 2 years old and is as healthy as he's ever been!Don't set yourself up for heartbreak by buying a pet store critter. Either adopt or find a reputable breeder near you.

Brought our Japanese Akita puppy "Hashi" in for her first professional grooming on 11/6/23 and we couldn't be happier with the results. Julianna was very attentive to our needs and concerns and gave us exactly the what we were looking for. Hashi looked amazing afterwards and it was clear that she had a positive experience with Julianna.

Customer service is always amazing!! The cashiers are the nicest people!! Riverhead is always amazing!! Just so understanding about how much u love ur pets!! I've never been disappointed at that store. It makes me want to make the extra trip!

Petco is Petco, that's where the pets go. This is the only place that happens to sell my dog's food. Expensive but worth it to watch your dog eat her food and enjoy it. Science diet is the best 👌

I changed my review to a 5star review because ever since I got a few fish and a tank for my son the entire staff is always very helpful and everyone takes the time to answer questions.Both the Riverhead and Hampton bays stores are the same.All stores are understaffed at times but that doesn't take away from the ones who are there.Thankyoy

Worst customer service ever waited in the store thinking someone would come ask if we need help. No one batted an eye. Employees just walk right past never even acknowledging we are there. What happened to greeting a customer at the door

Not only did Ramos check my name and different phone numbers for me to get my discount, they ran over to the adoptable kittens when one was crying out because an inconsiderate dog owner thought it was a good idea to let the dog approach the cage. Give Ramos a raise and a thank you for protecting the kittens

I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran with a Service Dog and a non service dog. VETCO in RIVERHEAD stopped my 5% discount abruptly with no explanation. The other Vets I contacted give either a 10% or 20% discount.

The Riverhead Petsmart store is always clean and well staffed with helpful people. I have my dog groomed here regularly, and from booking to picking up my dog, I have always had a positive experience.

bought 2 fish..sales person knew very little about the fish and proceeded to use a pair of metal tongs to "help" the fish out of the container into the bag. lost one the next day..other is fine after a few days. had to wait 20 minutes for help to start. and SO many dead fish in other tanks decaying. i should have known better

I went there to buy a budgie parakeet. It was about 8:30 PM and there were only two employees left in the store as far as I knew. One seem to be a trainee on the cash register so the young lady who was going to get the bird for me, was jammed up for about 15 minutes assisting her. I’m not mad it is what it is. She was busy and maybe they were shorthanded, but so I wound up leaving there and going to petsmart to get my bird instead.

From the moment we walked into the store we were greeted and offered assistance by several different employees with genuinely pleasant friendly smiles. They seem happy to be working there and made me think I might apply for a part time job. I rarely write reviews, but I was really impressed!

Some new employee named Emily made me and my cat very happy! I have been to the store many times but as I recall have never been asked to become a rewards member! Love this store and the employees are always very helpful! Can't wait for my cat to eat these treats so I may go back and buy more!!!

Overall, I am happy with what Petco has to offer. The staff is great. Very professional and helpful.On my most recent visit there was a very limited selection for cat and dog carriers. The shelves were nearly empty. Everything else seemed to be well stocked.

All staff members here are awesome. My dog Apollo and I visit almost weekly, and everyone always greets him. Everyone is always willing to help if needed.Large inventory selection available, and high quality products. I am able to get everything I need for my dog here and not have to visit any other stores. Store is always clean and shelves well stocked.Grooming salon is also excellent. I have never had a bad experience there in the 4 years I have used them. Fast service and my dog is well taken care of. They're always happy to see him which makes me feel great leaving him there.Apollo and I visit the Riverhead Petco even when we're not buying anything because it's a wonderful place and we love visiting.

you keep a happy environment. all the employees i see smile and say hi and ask if i need help with anything and that in that exchange rubs off on the people that come in. when i shop, all i see is smiles on the shoppers faces and they pay it forward by letting you before them on the purchase line if you have less items than them
