I went to pick up a prescription and got on the line for the drive through. It was before closing time, 6:00. They take a few cars ahead of me, then shut the window. Nobody came out to stop cars from waiting on line. So I went into the store and asked to pick up my prescription. They told me they close at 6 and to come back tomorrow. I’ve never been at a store waiting on line and had them shut down and tell me no. I asked to speak with the store manager. The pharmacist told me there was not a manager available and that I would have to wait until the next day to pick up my prescription. So I asked for whoever is running the building, she told me she was. When I again said I was on line, nobody came out to stop cars from getting on line and they just shut the window, she told me they could help me. CVS is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with and this just proved they don’t care about customer service.

My experience at the Pharmacy Drive thru today at CVS in Riverhead was lovely. The associate was professional , cheerful, and even gave my Granddaughter stickers ! Marisa was a big hit with us today in-every way! Thank you 🙏I am adding to this for a current review from July 21,2023I had to wait a bit longer than usual and it took a few extra minutes to locate my large order. None of this bothered me as I understand the ways things work in stores and service industries. The woman behind me was very disturbed by her wait and even got out of her car twice. It made me a somewhat uncomfortable as she also beeped a few times.Suggestions; maybe two people at the window during busier times to expedite the needs of the customers and lessen the stress of the cashier / pharmacist.Signs for approximate wait times might be helpful as well as do not leave your vehicle unless there is an emergency!It was not good for that to happen and I felt badly for the person waiting on me. She was excellent.CVS has always done their best for me . Thank you !

Very busy but helpful and efficient pharmacy. A pharmacist there got me on a program where my expensive medication is free for 12 mos. saving me a lot of money at a time when it is especially appreciated. I wish I knew her name— I’d like to thank her personally. She made a difference in my life!
