Absolutely charming. We were looking for some fresh vegetables and stopped here. There is so much more. If I wasn’t on a time limit, I would have stayed and explored much longer. Here are some pictures for a peek.

I loved visiting 1760 Homestead farm. It’s such a warm and cozy atmosphere compared to the other crazy, overcrowded, and overpriced places in the area. They have such a great Halloween setup, beautiful pumpkins, fresh sessional produce, and other cute seasonal decor. The staff is super sweet and friendly and they even have chickens, goats, and a horse. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out. You won’t regret it.

We had such high expectations forf this place. Farm to table. Limited menu and serving days. Excellent, enthusiastic reviews. It seemed like a sure-fire, unique, boutique and tasty experience. It wasn’t.Four adults order a cold cucumber soup, a white bean salad topped with tuna (from a can), a ribs/chicken combo and two bhan mi sandwiches. With four Snapple ice tea (no ice; “ice machine is broken”) it came to $116. A very pricey lunch for four. And no table service. You order and pick up at the counter. The soup was fine. The salad was quite skimpy considering it was $18. The vegetables, which should have been picked just hours earlier, were crisp and fresh but nothing special. The ribs and chicken were pedestrian. It’s had to believe either came from the farm. Nothing wrong with them but no special taste or BBQ crispness and juiciness you’d expect hot off the grill. The corn on the cob was inedible. Dried out, lukewarm , tasteless. The worst ear of corn I’ve tasted in years. . AND THIS IS PRIME LI SWEET CORN SEASON!!The bahn mi were good but not authentic. Served on American style roll.Lunch is eaten on well-worn picnic tables with umbrellas. When I sat down, one of the wood slats creaked and partially broke; the wood was rotten. So, a very disappointing experience considering the high expectations we had going in. I will never go back. I suggest you don’t go for the first time if you haven’t been.

My first visit to Long Island. The northside is very quaint with farms. These mini grape pies made it home with me.

My son wanted to stop here to get a few things. As he was looking around I was talking to the owner. It seems we both are from the same hometown. We talked about all the things from around the area. Small world! Frank was so happy he got a strawberry pie and their homemade horse radish. Nice place to visit.

The owner of this farmstand is extremely nice. I stopped there on my way home from a day trip because I needed some vegetables. I also noticed that they had very beautiful plants. I wound up being short a few dollars but was in love with a certain plant and the owner insisted I take it anyway. I don't live very close, but the next time I am out that way I will definitely be stopping to offer to pay the balance and to make an additional large purchase to support the business. I recommend stopping here, as they have vegetables, gorgeous flowers, and kind management.

We were met by the owner who explained how he makes the grape pies. The stand is charming and has a great deal of really nice home decor, homemade soaps, honey and giftware. The pies are DELICIOUS. I absolutely recommend this spot as a destination for your North Fork jaunts.

Great little place. Got our Christmas tree here after going to the other Christmas farms in the area. The others farms were overly price for the sizes they had left. At the homestead there was a good range if sizes and good prices. The staff were super friendly and tied our trees perfectly. My kids were in love of there range of pies and other sweets. Can't wait to come back next yr.

This historic farm offers many healthy choices like pure honey, free range eggs, delicious grape pies and toxin free vegetables. I stopped by when the Northforker ran a story about fresh soups. The1760 farm has quite a history in the community. On my visit, I was met by a young lady who was both friendly and helpful. She gave me the tour and assisted customers purchacing their Christmas tree. .

We bought the horseradish (I’ve been on the search for the best) and I have to say this was the BEST! Delicious and I’ll be back soon to buy a lot more. My kids share my love of horseradish and yours was on point! Thank you also for being so friendly and polite, your shop was very cute!

Great little farm stand. Super friendly folks run the place. You just shouldn't go the day without having their pumpkin muffins. Unreal. And if you're feeling adventurous, give the "grape" pie a whirl. You've not had another pie like it.

Very nice place the renovation process inside the house is incredible and true to form. They are meticulously and painstakingly bringing the house back to its original state. The farm is impeccable. The animals are well cared for. And the eggs are out of this world.
