I can't say enough about Caroline and Bryan. I know the last couple years they've always been there for me. Almost part of the family. They know their product. They're friendly when you come in. There's always people talking. They just create an aura of friendship and commodity in their store. They are absolutely incredible.

Best customer service. Best selection. If they don’t have something you wanted, they’ll be sure to get it for you. Carol and her husband are the finest in the business. They make you feel like you’re at home whenever you stop by. The gold standard of a Mom and Pop shop. I can not recommend enough.

Went in there on a whim. Didn't expect much, but wanted to support a small business. Looking for something special. First off noticed everything was overpriced. As I'm about to walk out the owner shows me the high end whiskey. She showed me a bottle I bought for about 60 percent less elsewhere. She asked me how much I'd be willing to pay for. The bottle was $400. I told her I bought it for 200 including tax. She didn't believe me.I then asked her for another bottle. The tag was still expensive, but not as bad 299. I was ready to offer her a fair 250 for it, then saw something else. She put the other one back and when I asked her for it again I noticed the price tag was off of it. She then said she'll make me a deal for 350. In my head I'm thinking but it was 299. So I make her the offer of 250 anyway and she says 275 out the door with tax included. Figured its the same thing so I agreed.She rings me up, no receipt. Charged my card and I head towards my car. I have instant alerts on my credit card and it shows a charge of 298 and change. So I walk back in and asked how much she charged me she then prints up 3 receipts and asks me to sign right away. I tell her I'm not signing anything right now. I then see it was 275 plus tax. I told her that's not what we agreed on. She then goes in the register and throws me a 20. Then she asks me to sign it an take a picture from her phone with me holding up the the receipt. I told her she doesn't have to worry about me fighting the charge and said if I wanted to be an a hole I'd ask for the 3 dollars and change. She goes back in the register and gives me another $4. She takes a picture of me anyway. I tell her that's not cool. She says she gets charge backs all the time, like that's my fault. I tell that's not something I would do and walk out.It sucks cause they have some good stuff I would've come back for. Even though it's secondary pricing or more. I even told her I'd be back to bring her samples next time, but doubt I'll be back now.😔

I am not a big review person but had to go out of my way for this gentleman and his businesss... I Went to this store for the 1st time tonight. I have to tell you: The owner went out of his way while dealing with a customer to greet me. As soon as he was done helping the other customer he immediately acknowledged me. I told him what I was looking for and not only he immediately got it for me, he gave me multiple options. Place is very clean and I can tell that this family is very passionate about there business which is a true rarity nowadays. I know from personal experience, because I am a business owner myself who takes pride in my name, my company and customer satisfaction. To make things even better, he gave me a free bottle of wine to take home for my wife after telling him that we just welcomed home a new born baby. He did not have to do that. I will not be going anywhere else moving forward. This Guy is a complete gentleman and deserves all the success in the world because he earns it and is passionate about his business. An unintentional stop. But glad I did. Great service, was greeted as I came in the door. The mood was nice and everything was bright and labeled clearly. Will definitely visit again.

This location has extremely poor business mannerisms.The owner carol is a degrading and rude person. As an individual in the community who supports small businesses and is close to their 30s this business is quite disappointing. While it's flattering to be told you look young it's offensive to point specific details and characteristics about ones appearance - the owner asked her regular customers to criticize my appearance to justify her behavior suggesting I don't look of age due to my hairstyle and having braces. It was embarrassing and insulting. Understandably being questioned if I have an ID Carol did agree that I can show her my ID on my phone since I forgot my ID at home however she proceeded to make more derogatory remarks and asking me to call my parents. After leaving the store she then rushed outside to yell and say "I'm not the one" this is about her"reputation" but made herself and her small business an uncomfortable hostile environment.

This has to be by far the best liquor store on long island!!! You can't be the friendly customer service anywhere else. The owner is so kind. Unique Tastes is clean and neat and very well organized. Everything you need to get the party popin' is there!!! I can't recommend this place enough!!! I will never go to another local liquor store again.

The owner was amazing and she took her time to introduce us to delicious and affordable local wines and explaining the tastes and differences in each. The store itself was very well put together and had everything (and more) that we were looking for. Highly recommend this store, especially for those from out of town.

went in a couple weeks ago for a bottle of bourbon and gin for the holidays. owner was absolutely a dream (I forget her name, I'm sorry). super friendly, taking requests, providing feedback and opinions. store is new so it is a growing selection that had great options and it's only to get better. overall great experience and highly recommend of you're in the area.

This place is run by nasty people that yell and curse at you and make fun of you because you forgot an id.. it’s one thing to turn someone away but to be disrespectful and nasty is wild and that is someone that shouldn’t run a business because they clearly don’t care about people!

I've been looking for a wine and liquor store with great service. Other stores in the area don't even acknowledge you and don't know the products. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received when I entered, and they always have something available for tasting. You can buy wine or liquor anywhere, but the staff here will keep you coming back. I will be a regular customer. ❤

Great selection of local wines plus some liquor otherwise hard to find. Prices are very reasonable and staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! An overall better and much more pleasant experience than any liquor store. Definitely recommend to others to give it a try!
