My westie Bonnie has what's called westie lung disease which is basically doggie copd. She was having trouble breathing and coughing, gagging and things were not going in a good direction for my 8 yr old pup. After finding a website based on this disease it said the only thing that could help( there isn't a cure unfortunately) would be cold laser therapy. After a visit to my vetinerian who prescribed several different drugs including prednisone, he was unfamiliar with cold laser therapy. Most vets aren't familiar. I Googled it and found Dr. Gucciardo and the awesome vet techs at integrative vet therapies. Bonnie was very uncomfortable and like a zombie because of the prednisone. Dr. G examined her and recommended that we do the therapy. After the 3rd visit she began showing improvement. This went on for a few months and she was definitely doing better but not great. Then Dr. G recommended a new treatment that he'd had success with called Shockwave sound therapy. It was never used on a dog for this purpose and with no guarantee of success and understanding that it wouldn't hurt her I agreed to let them give it a try. After 3 sessions they waited a month to see if she showed improvement. She did so we proceeded with additional treatments. Well the results have been amazing! We were able to cut most of her medications down considerably and her inhaler down to once a day. I live 50 miles away in Massapequa and it's an hour ride each way and I will absolutely not go anywhere else! We got our dog back! She turns 10 in April and I would have to say that her condition has DRASTICALLY IMPROVED! Yes all caps. That's how much better she is. She loves going there and is treated and loved by some the best vet techs I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you Dr. G and everyone at integrative vetinerian therapies. You have given my family our dog back. We still continue the treatments and she still shows symptoms such as occasionally coughing or gagging but the change in her condition is definitely greatly improved.

Dr. G and the entire staff are amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My dog came here due to back issues and were recommended by a friend to come. Dr g is the best vet I’ve ever had and my dog LOVES him. He very knowledgeable and listens to all my concerns and takes the time to talk to you. My dog is also obsessed with all the staff and loves all the attention he gets from everyone. Thank you to everyone for always taking care of big Lou, you guys are the best and we love you all!!!

No vet is perfect, but as someone with six animals, I feel very comfortable bringing all of them to Dr. G. He sees my four cats and two dogs - one of my dogs bi-weekly for acupuncture - and has always done right by them. In moments of emergencies or distress, they have squeezed me in and seen my animals. When I have called or emailed with questions or concerns, they were prompt in answering. Sam at the front desk has been a lifesaver for me more times than I can count. I think the best thing about Dr. G is that he really listens to you, too. I recommended a friend there who was having issues with her dog who was being a littlr anxious and reactive, and her feedback after seeing him was that she felt heard. I tried another vet when I moved out here, but ended up back at Integrative Vet. Yes, sometimes there can be long wait times, but if you call before you leave, they'll let you know how many patients in front of you so you can adjust your timing accordingly. They are also very affordable, which is a relief when you have six animals like I do. Dr. G is honestly like a vet celeb around here - I have never heard anyone say anything but glowing things about him.

Dr G. & all of his staff are well-educated and very concerned about a dog's health. They are very sympathetic when a dog's needs to go to Rainbow Bridge. Both my maltese & morkie were gently released from their pain @ 15 years old. We were in the room to hold them, and they knew they were loved while they drifted off into peace. Dr. G. Exams the pet before discussing options. He is a totally dedicated vet and lover of pets. He is the best vet I have ever had.Thank you Dr. G for all you do for our little furbabies! We love ❤️ you and your staff!

Sparky, my best bud, has recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. But without Dr. G, Traci, Sam, and everyone at Integrative Vet, we would have lost him years ago. When I tell you that they worked wonders, that’s an understatement. Acupuncture, herbs, western medicine, laser therapy, and more all helped to give Sparky an amazing few years added onto his life. And they did all of this with love and compassion. Sparky used to have to be dragged out of this vet because he loved it some much, and he’d literally run in. We were there all of the time, and they were there for us all of the time. Simply put, they are a wonderful veterinary office who go above and beyond to help our furry loved ones.w

One of the staff members who they claimed was in charge (manager?) anyways, she was very unprofessional & outright rude. I wouldn’t bring my fur-babies here after knowing that they allowed that behavior. She also kept it up when anyone could clearly see my cat was stressed from that behavior which is the main reason I’d never recommend this place.

We have never had finer veterinary care. They are great. Sadly we had to leave today because they were so far behind. My animals are not happy in their carriers and it seemed inhumane to make them wait an hour after the appointment time with no info on when they were going in. They are usually behind but this was worse. Perhaps it was the “sales-type” guy that dropped in. Shouldn’t that guy make an appointment?

I will never bring my pets anywhere else!I love that IVT has homeopathic options available for pets and the staff is unbelievably loving and Dr. G is the BEST!Their costs are very very fair and reasonable!I’ve been seeing them with my pets (Cats and Dogs) through the years and when we had to put down our sweet Daisy Girl in August at the age of 16, before then IVT helped to ease her arthritis pain to give her some extra time with us, we were able to have an extra year with Daisy and I’m so thankful for that extra time.Even though I opted for in home euthanasia for Daisy by Laps of Love (also highly recommended) when it was time, We still received a card from IVT with their condolences on Daisy's passing. ♥️ Thank You to Everyone there for all you do!♥️

I would never my dog anywhere else. Dr. G is so kind and patient and I feel extremely comfortable when I go there. My senior chihuahua is an absolute terror when she gets her nails cut and the techs handle it like pros. It is well worth the drive out to Ridge.

He is knowledgeable and skilled in traditional and conventional medicines and approaches. Dr. G and his staff are EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Dr. G is knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely affordable, my 13 year old Maltese was just recovering from a perineal hernia surgery developed an eye an ear infection, Dr. G quickly diagnosed and gave medication and my Duncan is doing well. The staff were so kind they showed me how to administer the meds, which I really appreciated since in the past giving meds could be challenging. I will definitely be returning, I highly recommend them. Also special thanks to Samantha M. who was a vet tech for recommending Dr. G and his staff.

I was originally bringing my dog to a different vet and they wouldn’t check his lump for cancer because they said it was nothing at 3 different times. So I brought him here to Integrative Vet Therapies, and they are AMAZING. They treat him amazing and care for him like their own. Within the first visit they checked his lump, sent it out and when it came back cancerous they scheduled everything immediately. He’s cancer free and happier than ever! This place is the best around.

Love Dr G and the staff! So accommodating and you can feel the love for animals they have. They treated my baby girl for lymphoma and were so heartfelt. Up to the last minute when I has to put her down. They were so sensitive and gave us so much time with her. I have had to put dogs down before but this was an amazing experience with them it's has never been such a loving experience❤️

Dr G. and his incredible staff made my senior citizen furry baby feel like a puppy again!! A fractured tooth removal which required general anesthesia with intubation was so scary for me but Scampy came through with flying colors thanks to Dr. G’s skill and having an expert support team around him!! If these people are anything but compassionate to their animals as well as random humans which I'm absolutely positive they are. My good friend and partner was in a bad car accident infront of their business his truck rolled and tools were scattered all through the road the police and the tow truck diver said it wasent their responsibility and the lady's out of the vet came to the rescue they recovered to many tools to count damn near everything which we are more then thankful for they understood it was out livelihood and stored all the tools in the shop me and my partner were in tears when we saw all the stuff they saved for us these women are amazing and our Christmas miracle thank you everyone in the vet

The entire staff here is amazing. I brought in my cat, who was an outdoor stray that I took in and had never been handled. They were kind, gentle and compassionate. She got a check-up, nails clipped, shots and bloodwork for a price I could not believe. Expected to pay much more. I recommend them to anyone who has a pet they love. Thank you!!

We went for a regular vet visit, and ended up with so much more. The doctor and staff took great care of our puppy and also taught us some training techniques and how to deal with certain behaviors. The staff and the Vet are fantastic here.. my pups never even get upset when they are brought in for a visit. They are very professional, and always try to find a way to fit your pet in if you need it in a hurry!The prices are more than reasonable!

My mobile vet referred me to IVT. My cat had to get extensive dental surgery and I was so nervous. They were so kind and their prices were beyond reasonable. They were so caring. Highly recommend!
