I wanted to do something special for my Grandmother on Independence day so decided to stop in and treat her at Below Zero to try their food & ice cream. We were not disappointed. Their ice cream was amazing and way bigger than we expected and the food was so delicious!!! The staff was very friendly also and put cute little flags decorating our food since it was theJuly 4th holiday. We both will definitely stop there again.

I went to below zero on a nice summer day wanting ice cream and it hit the spot! I requested the owner for a strawberry oreo flurry (I tried it as a milkshake once at five guys, loved it, and was craving it again). He did it right away, and even gave us a free scoop card. Great service and cute place.

My favorite ice cream spot! The best chocolate malts ever! I used to get brownie sundaes with pb added, but they kept getting messed up a bit (maybe miscommunication but thats okay!) accidents and mistakes happen!! This will still always be a 5 star place for me. Friendly staff, great ice cream and food! :)

A small family owned ice cream shoppe. Owner is very friendly, prices are more than reasonable. Despite ongoing construction, we were invited to sit inside during a cool day. Excellent all around.

My kids and I stopped by on our way through town and really enjoyed our time here. The staff was very nice and helpful, and we loved the community vibe of the place. Really great portions of yummy ice cream at reasonable prices. Will come again if in the area!

My husband and I went to Below Zero for the first time. The ice cream was really good. I ordered a small chocolate in a dish and was surprised by how much I received. We also sat at their picnic table area and they had music coming from the speakers. It was a pleasant experience and can't wait to go again.

There was something a little off about the vanilla soft-serve, but since the chocolate was SO creamie and both had good flavor, we're willing to assume that was a fluke and come back! Generous portions and wide selection. Nice little spot.

Sundae’s are good size for the price not cheap on the fillings or toppings. Folks are always polite. They serve you with a smile. It takes a few minutes to get your food but it’s always cooked fresh. I keep coming back.

Excellent new ice cream shop that is going to be a hit for years to come I hope. Super friendly service with top notch owners and absolutely fantastic ice cream. Love that they serve local ingredients! The place is super clean, all updated and the prices are good. Order a small. Trust me. You can not eat anything bigger unless you're sharing and even then you're likely headed straight for a food coma if you even try. Love the location. The picnic table area has lawn games and views of sunset through the trees. Perfect atmosphere with positive vibes. Bring the kids or some friends. Sit down and relax for a bit, plan to stay and hang, there's plenty of space and you won't have to worry about direct sun or any flies. Grab a loyalty punch card while you're there because Below Zero is going to be a frequent stop.

The servings are always big. The staff is always pleasant. My daughter asks for an umbrella every time we go and they are very accommodating with this. I like all the programs they have there and the covered seating with games is a nice addition.

the lady that checked me out was just rude, overall attitude was just uncalled for. and to top it off her hair was found in my flurry, legit mixed in as well. their ice cream in general just sucks, gritty, and gross and flavorless. the food was awful as well, if i could give 0 stars i would.. i tried writing a facebook review a while back but they took down the option to do any sort of reviews on there.

Though I have had a friend pick up ice cream for me before, this was my first time experiencing Below Zero in person and it was lovely. The owners have kept the spirit of the old shop and made it their own. Some nice upgrades made the experience much nicer (the use of the pickup window, nicer menu boards, etc.) I was greeted with a smile and friendly conversation- and the ice cream was very nicely done - plus great to support a local cause, as I stopped by during one of their fundraisers. Keep up the good work, guys!

Soft vanilla is gritty, it was last year when we tried it and it was this year as well. They only shake on a few sprinkles on cones. Got arctic swirl on two different occasions, it comes out way to soft, melty, candy pieces are so small that it looks like they are put through a food processor. Any place else you get chunks of candy. So not satisfied.

Honestly not just leaving the review for the 5% off, the staff are all super nice and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Great tasting ice cream, great people, super clean, and awesome energy. They have rewards cards as well which is awesome!! Definitely our new go to spot.

My mother and I were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch to eat outside or take home. I was delighted to find Below Zero had many picnic tables set up for customers, and they had the Montgomery County SPCA there for a Doggie Day Adoption Clinic (Below Zero was donating to the SPCA from their ice cream sales). I spotted other flyers at the counter and noted there will be other fun events over the Summer. So nice to see a business giving back to the Community!We enjoyed our lunch, chatted with the owner and staff, and enjoyed the doggies. It was a pleasure to be greeted by warm smiles, and we will be looking forward to our next visit.

When I come up from Florida, I take my relatives to this ice cream place. Just get a small because it's huge and I do mean huge. And some of the best soft cones I've ever had in my life.

Hands-down the best burger I’ve had in a long time! The milkshake was the best as well, real ice cream and real milk. Real food is such a rare find these days and that’s exactly what they serve here and it is absolutely phenomenal!

Have been going here all summer and loved it. Until late late August I got a soft serve vanilla that had a very powdery texture to it. And I took it back to the window and they both tried it and claimed they don’t taste it. But they did give me a chocolate and it was way better. A week later we go back and get ice cream. And I get soft serve vanilla. It comes out and does not even look creamy. And yes it was terrible so threw it out and went to the ice cream stand in St Johnsville and got real soft serve. So imo they don’t even know the difference between good ice cream and bad ice cream and should not be selling it.

Stopped by on our way back from the Herkimer mine, and what a nice surprise. Good ice cream. Nice people (especially the older lady and the gentleman). Food was surprisingly really good. We inhaled all the food and ice cream and, unfortunately, did not get any picture.

Wasn't that impressed. Prices were high, servings were small. Couldn't tell the difference in size between a LG and Med soft serve ice cream. BUT it's a newer business so time will tell.
