I have adopted 4 pets over the years from UFHA, 3 cats, one dog, and all have been wonderful. Shelter is run by those who greatly care and work extensively for the animals.

The UFHA is a great group of people, both paid and volunteers that have saved many, many, many animals over the years. The cats and dogs are well cared for a very well loved with a great window room for the cats. Kate does a wonderful job and is very helpful in finding good homes for very deserving animals.

I found my tuxedo kitty they named Raspberry online ..I was in the process of adopting her when my son became seriously ill..I called the shelter and advised them and they graciously kept her until I could get there..she is aprox. 3 years old and has been a wonderful comfort and entertaining companion..just this morning she awakened me when my sugar level dropped dangerously low...I could not recommend them more highly

Great place. People there are amazing and easy to talk too. Would highly recommend going here if you are looking to adopt. If i adopt again in the future I will be coming back here for sure.

They are passionate about helping animals. We have gotten and fostered cats through them. Affordable adoption fees as well.
