Headed back to Cooperstown again this weekend, almost exactly one year from my horrifying experience at this scam of a “townhouse.” Disgusting. Dirty. Unsafe. Horrifying. Can’t understand how they haven’t been shut down yet. Owner was the most dude person I’ve ever dealt with. There’s a reason the fine print says no refunds - because they know you’re gonna ask for one when you see the place. Only reason the reviews on here seem decent is because the good ones are all fake. Avoid this place at all costs.Rooms: Horrific.Food & drinks: None. They provide nothing.Noteworthy details: It’s noteworthy that everything they advertise is a lie. Including the lake!! There’s no lake!

Completely false advertising. Keys left outdoors hanging on posts. Noone to greet u on checkout. Bed room clean but threadbare bedding. Wifi and tv not as advertised not working and zero help from staff I got a text but I told her not working need help I was ignored. Wobbly bedroom door. Felt nervous. Common room kitchen and tv was not clear and very run down. Entrance glass dirty. The only saving grace was proximity to Cooperstown. Only place that allowed one night stay avail. Save yourself book in advance and book in Cooperstown

DISGUSTING. HORRIBLE. OLD PHOTOS. SHARED LIVING AREAS. TERRIBLE OWNERS. Nothing about this place was okay. We showed up and left. No refunds. We lost all our money, but it was worth it. Front door didn’t lock. The living room and kitchen area was shared, which we weren’t told ahead of time. The bedroom was at the top of the stairs, next to another persons bedroom. Just completely insane. The photos weren’t at all accurate. The place is falling apart. Floors aren’t level. Fridges are disgusting. Just an absolutely terrible place that I would NEVER let my family stay at. Tried calling the owner to express how unacceptable it was, but he kept saying no refunds and hung up on me. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Whatever you do - DO NOT stay here. Oh, and the lake? It’s like a 3 min ride away. There’s no lake house. There’s no lake views. Just another lie. Oh, and all the reviews that are positive are clearly stock photos from fake accounts. Another scam. Whatever they charge, it’s too much. Horrendous

While there was a certain charm, be prepared for small rooms and cheap items like bed sheets and pillows and small shower. They clearly dont do deep cleaning. It was very expensive for Hall of Fame Induction weekend of course, because I cant imagine them getting that rate for what they offer any other time of the year. The staff is friendly and they really go the extra mile. That's why they got a 3 from me. The area is gorgeous!!

THE PLACE IS A SCAM..I CALLED THE POLICE THE GOVERNOR I AM NOT STOPPING UNTIL THESE SCAM ARTISTS ARE IN JAIL. WE BOOKED THIS ONLINE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COTTAGES ON A LAKE…INSTEAD IT 2 dirty run DOWN BUILDINGS 30 mins from COOPERSTOWN. ITS DISGUSTINGHOUSES WITH BEDROOMS!!!THERE IS NO LAKE..THERE IS NO STAFF DOORS R LEFT OPEN ANYONE CAN WALK IN. I DO NOT WANT ANY1 else to BOOK THIS SCAM ITS NOT A HOTEL ITS 2 rundown buildings with tiny bedrooms with a sink n stall shower it is Gross. THERE WAS NO HEAT NO HOT WATER I called the news .bbb the mayor if anyone else goes there please contact me I am suing these con artists
