I just stayed here again and had a wonderful time. It’s so nice to get out of the city I live in and get back to nature. This place is absolutely beautiful. They have two ponds for fishing and boat rentals, tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court, pavilion, arcade, billiards room, in-ground outdoor pool, nice rolling stream, tons of wildlife, and the view from the top of the hill is magnificent. You could either stay in townhouses near the entrance or the cabins up above. There is not a lot of traffic here so it’s nice and quiet. It’s so nice to hear the birds. The stars on a clear night are incredible. They got a new boat this week with a shade. It’s a great option for people who want to hang out on the water all day without getting sunburn. I can’t wait to go back. The staff is very pleasant and very helpful.

It is a great getaway from the city. For those who enjoy the outdoors and quiet country living it's a wistful place to go and relax. The staff is warm and friendly. The cabins are cozy with fresh linens! I love this place! I go once a year.Noteworthy details: The view from the cabins is amazing! Watching the sunrise is a must!

What a great little gem hidden in the woods on top of a mountain. Our family was visiting the Baseball HOF on the way to our vacation. Lots of things to do for kids. Basketball court, Game Room, Tennis Court, Pool. The cabins up top are cool. Amazing views. If you want a rustic feel this place is for you. I told the owner I hope my kids take their kids here in 20 years if they come to Baseball HOF.

I am still in happy land after arriving home from a weekend with friends at Fieldstone Farms!! It was EXACTLY the kind of atmosphere I love- beautiful, unpretentious, beautiful, the best hosts of anyplace I’ve ever stayed in my well-traveled life, beautiful, fastidiously clean and cozy, did I mention beautiful views?? Great location away from the crowds at Cooperstown, easy drive there, and to a variety of wineries, breweries, cider presses, hiking, swimming , and great food. If you enjoy quiet, star-filled skies, and being made to feel right at home, this is your next destination! Thanks so much, John and Jean!

We stayed here for a long weekend in May, 2013. We visited Cooperstown mainly to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. This place is excellent. The cabins are clean and completely furnished with everything you will need. The owners are very pleasant and friendly people. The area is nice and quiet with a lovely pond for a row boat ride or fishing. It was a very short drive to Baseball Hall of Fame and surrounding attractions. My wife and I would rate this a 10 out of 10. Whenever we are near Cooperstown, this will always be our choice. The only negative, if there was to be any, is there isn't much choice on the TV for quiet evenings. But we don't go to vacation to watch TV, so it really wasn't an issue for us.

We stayed 2 nights in a cottage, wonderful get away! The views were sooo nice, the staff was so lovely and friendly. I would definitely book another get away. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had the basic kitchen necessities. Sitting out on the porch at night looking at the stars was picture perfect relaxing. The only thing I would say to make it better would be to update some of the recreational items. The boats, life vests, the air hockey table could all use an upgrade. Very nice place to stay, could have stayed longer. Love all the completed puzzle pictures! 💙

My family has been coming this resort since before I was born. The land is beautiful and serene, a perfect getaway from the city life. The caretakers are wonderful people, always smiling, friendly and helpful. I hope to continue the tradition for decades to come!

Fieldstone is a great place to get away with your family. With limited internet and phone service, it really forces the family to talk and do things together. The place is extremely clean and the owners are amazing people. Their little store on site was very affordable (unlike many places in NY). With a full kitchen, really helped us in saving money. We grilled and ate in as much as we could. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

The place itself and the folks who ran it we're great. The fact that it is slightly antiquated adds to it's charm. It did NOT have AC. Might have been nice to know when it was a hundred degrees out. The guy who ran it was so incredibly nice that I didn't have the heart to whine about it.
