Has a good assortment of organic products in one entire aisle. Before and after the pandemic, prices overall run higher than Hannaford. Do stop in for a few things that others don't carry. The carts are lightweight making them pleasant to maneuver. They are usually stocked on cart wipes at the entrance.

Great grocery store! Clean ! And of course the standard items, but the have so much exquisite culinary items!. Whether at the deli counter or salads, or the amazing bakery!

It was a clean store, almost the same set up as Stop n Shop. All name brands, it looked to me they don't have their own brand of products. Prices are decent.

Tops is a store of convenience for me but I find their produce department to be subpar. The organic options are pretty limited and they section them off into 2 aisles on their own rather than stocking with like items which can be annoying. The store is always clean though and I’ve never had issues with rude employees as other reviewers have mentioned.

What can I say Tops is the only store were customer are told to put back their own re-shops. Also the only store that has the rudest deli associates that complain if you call in your order so that you are not standing there for am hour while the deli cut slower then a sloth. If you want to shop in a friendly store I would shop at Hannaford.

It's a pretty big store... not the cheapest though, ide prefer shop rite or Walmart but if u live in Rhinebeck it's the closest grocery store. Sometimes they have good sales though... and big selection of food... so it's good but I go only when I'm not going to Kingston or Poughkeepsie

Store is large and is always clean and well-stocked with a nice variety. Nice sized floral department. The only drawback is that their prices are very high compared to other grocery stores. If you are on a budget, this is not the place for you.

There's an app to purchase old discounted food at Tops called Flash Foods, and that's wonderful. The issue is, the employees rarely, if ever, know the process for you getting what you ordered and tell you conflicting things about it. The employees here specifically can be kind of mean and standoffish too compared to other locations- mostly condescension and generally being rude to customers.

I just had a very rude cashier handle my groceries more carelessly than anyone has ever done! I usually place my groceries in categories in shopping bags in my cart as I shop. Then I simply put the bag on the belt instead of reaching into my cart for each individual item. I usually have one extra bag, which I take with me to the bagging end —it allows allows me to bag quickly while maintaining everything organized. If this has ever annoyed any cashier I have yet to be told. But today, this woman proceeded to just grab one end of each bag and dump the contents on the belt without regard for the contents. I don’t care about cans, but can you imagine how this affected the produce! When I asked if I had upset her by using this method I did not get an answer that made any sense. I go to Tops for convenience —-their produce is less than ideal— this might be the experience I needed to just go elsewhere from now on.

I love this store. Spotless clean, always well stocked, and the products always look inviting. The help is always available to help with questions. Check out is easy or you can check yourself out but there are always registers available. One of my favorite grocery stores.

Friendly and helpful staff, they carry what you'd expect any grocery store to carry. Pricing is decent, and they're never out of stock on any of their products. Their partnership with Instacart is unfortunate as the service frequently makes you come in and retrieve your order yourself.

I had never heard of Tops before. I’ve been able to find everything I need there. The have a large produce department. The russet potatoes I just bought there were perfect, skins and all. The have a large organically section too. The person who helped me at the deli was very pleasant and the Boar’s Head meat and cheese were sliced to perfection. Really no need to cross the River to another store, in my opinion, unless you are looking for something very specific.

May not be the cheapest store but what I need is always in stock. The coupons are good and the cash back gas gift cards are great. They employees are very hard working and very friendly. They know me by sight and are very helpful.

The website flyer which expires on Saturday does not refresh until MONDAY VERY ANNOYING. I live 20 min away. I finally gave up on saving paper and asked to have a flyer mailed to me

I just loved this store, it’s clean, fresh all over, the aisles are long so you know they’ve more items in the store :) they staff there are professional and nice, I’ve never had any complaint besides the phone dead zones for the cell phones but other than that I love it❤️

Staff is good. Prices are good. Clean.Produce department needs major attention.Apples look like something from the eastern bloc, before the wall fell.Specifically, check out the 4016 apples with the diseased, pock marked skins. I will try to add a photo. Almost scary. As an adult I would just cut those parts out, you should not have to, as you’re paying a premium price. But if you put an apple like that, in front of a kid, they wouldn’t touch it. It’s almost like something an old witch in a fairytale would put in front of a pretty young girl, and say, “this is for you my pretty”.I’m not trying to be negative, I’m trying to be realistic. The rest of the store is great.Maybe they need to hire like a mystery shopper agency, to come in and shop, and rate them.There’s nothing like quality control.

A decent selection of groceries that are reasonably priced. Quality-wise, they may be slightly bested by local big competitors (and certainly any specialty purveyors of fresh produce like farms or organic markets). We live close by, and thus tend to frequent the market. Our son loves the ride on shopping carts.

I am grateful to have a big supermarket like Tops so close to the village but often prefer to shop elsewhere when possible. The produce isn’t great (romaine and strawberries were both past their prime last time I wanted to buy there). On a recent trip, two bags of tortilla chips we purchased were both stale. The convenience is great and I trust them for non perishable basics.

Really convenient being open 24 hours, though the Starbucks inside it closes really early, around 7, so that's my only "issue" with it. Other than that the place is wonderful. Good deals, extensive beer section, great selection of all natural foods section, and helpful staff.

The staff is great and very helpful, they have a wide variety of items and have good deals if you have a tops card. The tops card also allows you to build up points to get free gas cards which is great with the price of gas going up

Just OKI find Hannaford a better and less expensive place to shop.When I have shopped at Tops. It's ususal because I have taken a friend to shop there, so I concede to shop as well. Every time I have gotten upset because I usually buy the same items and Tops comes to $40-$60 more. I don't find the quality to be that much more better than Hannaford as well.

I would have given a five star but the signs at the top of the isles were wrong, probably because they were going to change the layout. This is not my normal store. It was nice and clean, nice selection of products, and I would definately go back.

In general the store is a good store. I'm giving this rating based on my contact with the TOPS upper management in General. I purchased an item that they had a $5 rebate listed in their weekly add. I was directed by the store to text a number and type in "save" I would later receive an email with directions. I followed all directions and even though I wanted the rebate sent to me, I had to open a PAYPAL account with my general email address and provide important credit card information if I wanted to get the $5 rebate. When I contacted the TOPS organization they told me it was't their responsibility. I would never have purchased the item if I had known in advance that all my personal information would be exposed to a possible fraudulent operation. Tops provided the add in its weekly flyer and should be responsible to insure we its customers are not put into a precarious situation. I did not provide my credit card or banking information that was requested. I'm stuck paying for an item I would not have bought if it were not for the rebate. Thanks Tops

the deli counter is very very disrespectful and rude not only to the customers but to their own coworkers. i’ve seen them belittle people just because the color of their skin and get into their coworkers face about something so stupid. that is very unprofessional and not okay to do to people and around paying customers. not a good look.

Tops is a cool guy. The meat department and deli are both amazing. They have the best products and a friendly, helpful staff. The produce department has a nice selection and is usually well stocked. Overall, it is a very nice grocery store with an excellent selection of high end goods that may not be found elsewhere in ths area. However, they aren't cheap. This is Rhinebeck, so I never expect anything to be cheap, but a word of warning to out-of-towners. Bring lots of money.
