Awesome fall place. Great apple picking and very cute store. Baked goods, honey, cider, pies, local foods and more! Must stop!!! They also have plants and pumpkins. Love it here it’s so fun and cute

If you are promoter of local business this is one of the best in the area. I loved their vegetarian soup. They have great collection of preserves and maple syrups. Had a lot of activities going on the local winter festival day.

Only place around to get cider donuts made the old fashioned way. Ask for them "hot" and you'll never go anywhere else for cider donuts. Great fun all around for the family if you like apple picking. Treat yourself!

This is SUCH a great place! Isabel and her staff do a superior job of providing a wonderful experience when you're looking for apples of all kinds, THE best pies (try the apple raspberry!), relishes, jams and jellies NOT to mention a plexiglass bees nest where you can watch their comings and goings. NEVER an admission charge..you pay for the apples you pick!

They’ve got a glass display that shows the donuts being made, conveyor belt style. They’ve also got a live honeycomb with bees in it. The pies are delicious but pricy. For farm fest they usually have a hot dog/hamburger grill going and animals

I chaperoned my sons third grade field trip today. The kids had so much fun. They learned how important farms are and how special bees are in helping to grow the food we eat. The goats were adorable and the hey ride to the corn maze was so fun too. The apple cider donuts were the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend 10/10.

Much better than greedy Bowman’s Inc! You can actually have family fun here without being price gouged. 😮‍💨Interesting country store with an active bee hive! Goats to pet, apples to pick, a corn maze to solve?? What more could you ask for? Highly recommend 🍁

The apples are always good but this place's finest attraction is truly hot and fresh cider donuts. Absolutely fantastic. They make them constantly during the weekends and they are glorious. Also they have local huney which is always nice.

Apple cider donuts are good but a little small. They have good selection of other goods.

Donuts would have been worth the price if they were hot and fresh like they used to be. Such good childhood memories but sadly this place went downhill. And sells Bowmans cider which is severely disappointing.

Enjoyed the store. Sweet staff. Nice fall desserts include GF pies and plants. No apples this year for picking. Too late or weather. We will b back

Got here Oct. 8th, as we were told on the phone, the trees were already picked over but you can still find some decent apples on the trees but it takes patience. You can buy various apples inside the store as well. Store staff are friendly and helpful.Apple cider doughnuts here are the best I've had this year; still warm, light, crispy exterior with just the correct amount of sugar/cinnamon and soft slightly chewy interior. Yum. Get u some. They were more expensive than a farm near Albany we visited but worth it. $14.95/dozen.They don't make their own cider here, it says Bowman's on the container. Personally I like the cider at Indian Ladder farm the best, fresh, juicy, lightly sweet. Bowmans tends to be too sweet for my taste anyway. Prefer Riverview over nearby orchards which are very crowded and comnercialized.Grandkids had a lot of fun feeding goats sumac leaves still on their branches in the pen behind the store. The free corn maze (free the day we went anyway, I understand they normally charge a small fee) kept them busy for quite a while too. Had a very nice outing here, not overly crowded.Four stars instead of 5 as they don't have their own cider and prices are more here (for items we purchased) than Indian Ladder.

If you want what I consider the best apple cider donuts I have had in a long time, go here. It was perfect timing, doughnuts were still warm, little crispy on the outside, perfect size ( makes for the correct surface to volume ratio)...so I had four in like three minutes. Now as I sit here hours later...I wish I had bought more. BTW they have all the usual orchard store stuff, apples and cider etc.

Last January, I had the luxury of returning to my home state for the first time in 7 years. I had dearly missed my apple picking days that ended with cider and fresh donuts. Apple Cider off season was scarce, even in many harvest shops it's reserved for donut making. The two kind ladies who ran the store were gracious and generous enough to grant me not one but two cups of that warm apple ambrosia! That with their crockpot Mac and cheese during the winter cold was to die for! My mouth is watering just remembering. God bless their business, may many come to know the joy I found there.

Best apple picking place in Saratoga County. You don't feel like you were just mugged like other places. Family owned.

My favorite place to go apple picking. Very low key. We went on a Sunday at 10:30, parked immediately (no line of cars) and it was an easy walk to the delicious Macouns with the kids. We took a hayride because the kids were excited to, not because it was necessary. There's also a cute little store with tasty cider donuts.

We have been going here for the past 25 years. We think their pies are some of the best in the capital district. They have an active bees hive, goats, apple trees, corn maze, excellent store, apple cider donuts, and apple cider. highly recommend.

The orchard and store were solid for the area. Not having to pay an admission fee to pick apples is somehow hard to find now, but this place you only pay for the size bag you would like, so that was much appreciated! The grass was quite high in the orchard and could have used a mowing. The apple crop took a beating this year unfortunately. There were a ton of apples on the trees, but I would say 95% were riddled with brown/black spots. I've lived here since the mid 90s and can't recall seeing an apple crop this damaged. I would recommend scouting out the orchard before buying larger sized bags. Despite the crop situation I would still recommend this farm to others.

Not a great variety on the say we visited but overall good experience. Hayride and the county stores are the selling point as well

Nice place Good apples a nice store on the inside. A lot of great jellies, jams, cider, cookies well you get it. Just make sure you get there when that place is just opening. Unfortunately I was only able to make it later in the season. There really wasn't any apples left in the orchard. So get there early in the season. I love this place.

I'm a full time wheelchair user and the accessibility of the terrain is obviously not the greatest. But as far as in the shop other than how cramped it can get I love it all. I wish I could just rate the workers. I'd give them 5*. In a perfect world I'd give everything 5*. My bad that I gave 3*

Love this place for apple picking. We've gone here the past 3 years and it's always great, super cute shop with reasonably priced local foods, apple cider and doughnuts of course! And there are goats and cows behind the store too, so very cute!

Great little shop with tons of unique food options from cider donuts to hot sauce. Their apple picking is okay. A lot of trees with bad apples and limited selection but the price does match the quality and is a lot cheaper then other local orchards.

Some awesome food in store. I am in there daily while waiting for my granddaughter who does crew. Always fund something new and different. Everyone is so nice.

Really really great trip- as usual! Great selection, plenty of apples, and so tasty! Everyone was super respectful of social distancing and mask wearing, so it felt safe too. Store was open, but with a short wait to go in to ensure social distancing. Apple cider donuts are a family favorite!

Only a few selections of apples. They did not have none of my favorite apples. The few apples they had were ALL my least favorite apples. We still had a great time. The store had great selections of stuff. Their apple cider donuts are the smallest donuts I've seen in my life. Like really really small but have to admit it was the BEST apple cider donut I've had in my life. My sister felt the se way to. We had ours without the sugar added.

This is a nice smaller orchard that isn't overcrowded and not overpriced!!!! We enjoyed the morning and DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY OUT THE BACKSIDE TO DO IT!!!!! The only thing we were hoping for were gluten free apple cider donuts. But not many places offer it. All in all, a good time was had by everyone, that's including a teenager and a very moody preteen! I love to support local small businesses. The store has plenty of honey, jam and other goodies to do just that, all from local small businesses.Another orchard just around the corner is charging per person to get in, purchase your pick your own bags and still makes you pay for every little activity.... It's ridiculous.Thank you Riverview Orchards for not forcing families to pay amusement park prices for a couple hours of wholesome family fun like your neighbors!!!!

Lower key, smaller, and much less crowded than some nearby orchards. No admission. Extremely friendly staff. Good cider and cider donuts. Walk or take wagon to the trees. A few calves and goats to pet, a corn maze, and a bee hive (behind glass) makes it a nice spot for taking children.

Some of my fondest childhood memories of autumn took place here. Great for kids with apple picking and hay rides, but also loads of specialty foods, interesting knick-knacks, etc in the shop. I always enjoyed the hot cider donuts (I love that you can see them making them) and watching the bees from behind the glass. Truly a gem.
