I ordered topsoil to be delivered, and that soil that I got was not topsoil. It was gray like clay, and it did get rained on which made it worse. It was gray clay. It was not black like topsoil! the topsoil I already had down was black after it rained. I went down to show the manager and he insisted it was because it was wet. If you choose them to buy soil go in person to see what you’re getting!! Gray clay is not topsoil wet or dry!!

Kulak’s is amazing in so many ways. First and foremost, their staff are all friendly and so helpful. If you’re looking to landscape your yard, they will help you pick out all the plants and bushes/trees and even lay them all out for you to see how it would look. They’re super honest about what will work well in your space and not just trying to sell you the most expensive thing. Yes the prices are more than a big box store, but you’d never get that kind of customer service there and the plants are better quality here.Their mulch, soil, and rock pricing is very reasonable. The only downside is if you need various combinations of these in bulk, you have to get each delivered at a different time and with a separate delivery charge since they don’t have dividers in the truck. It is still worth it since the price is great for the bulk landscape materials. The delivery guys are very fast, efficient, and friendly. Really this place is amazing all around.

I bought several yards of topsoil one yard at a time due to the small trailer I have and the fact that I have a new driveway and didn’t want to risk damage with a delivery of all the topsoil at once. The owner and his staff were all very friendly and patient with me as I kept coming back for small purchases all day long. We’ll definitely be back to this place. Thank you!

I was gifted a gift card for my birthday. I was specifically looking for a orange rose bush and found a beautiful plant that was reasonably priced. Their set up of plants make it easy to look around. There was staff around to ask questions, however I was easily able to find what I was looking for. They have a cute store inside with gardening supplies and cute gifts. The cashier was pleasant and able to answer my question about planting. I highly recommend checking this place out for your landscaping and gardening needs.

Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Were not many black eyed Susan's but it's that time of year in Upstate NY! But we were able to purchase a couple pots of them here. Very nice place to shop. Went back a couple days later and purchased a hydrogea plant. TBH, the nice lady with the blonde hair that helped is more beautiful than any of the flowers 💐 there...just keeping it real!

We ordered mums from Kulak's for our wedding last October. The year prior we had seen their mums and loved them. They were the best looking mums we had seen in the area and the prices were great. When we placed our order the staff showed us a catalog of different colored mums that we could choose from. We chose purple/pink mums and white mums in apple barrels. We also purchased some smaller mums and asked if they had bushel baskets to go with the mums in apple barrels. They didn't have any bushel baskets but the staff called their supplier and ordered us some. When we went to pick up the mums they didn't all fit into the car so we had to bring a second car the next day. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to leave the mums there an extra day and they even came in prior to the store opening so we could get on the road. We were on a time crunch and had to drive to VT that morning so we were very appreciate of them coming in early so we could pick up the mums. The mums were beautiful and went very well with our rustic wedding. We had a number of guests comment on how great the mums looked. If you are looking to buy mums for your wedding or even just for your front porch I would highly recommend buying them from Kulak's. The staff is wonderful and their mums are the best looking mums around.

Premium Christmas Trees and Premium Customer Service!We have been buying a Concolor White Fir for 15+ years from Kulaks, as it's hard to find them anywhere else. These trees are beautiful, and when you break the needles in half they give of citrus scent! Ask the staff to show you!

First time buying our Christmas tree at this location, will go back for sure. Excellent arrangement of trees that lets you see them with the branches down, and a great staff that did all the lifting, trimming, bundled the tree, hefted it onto the roof of our Subaru, tied it down, super happy. There was free hot chocolate and a nice fire ring going to warm up while picking out the perfect tree.

This place truly has All you need. Quality plants. Stone, top soil, mulch, gift shop is packed. Love it. Great people work here and the owners are top notch. Oh and also an amazing inventory of statuary.

Wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable people here. Highly recommend Kulaks for all your gardening and landscaping needs. We are amateurs when it comes to planting and maintaining our landscaping and every time we come here we meet an employee that goes above and beyond to help, give advice and recommend what we need and they are always spot on. They have been fantastic and a pleasure to deal with and we will never go anyplace else for our landscaping needs.

Even though I live in upstate NY and I cant drive more than 20 minutes in any direction without driving past a real farm with real animals I decided I wanted cute pictures of my children with animals but didn't want to go to a farm because they smell. We got here and the staff directed us where to park. We waited in each line and got to see the Easter bunny and the little bunnies and the cows and the sheep and everyone was so nice that worked here.Now the bad part. I constantly kept hearing these whining moms complain that it was too cold or that the lines were too long or that the animals wouldn't look at them for their Instagram pictures. I think these women don't understand that animals aren't models and they live outside where sometimes it is cold and you should dress according to the weather and not to one up your other soccer mom's online. Domesticated animals tolerate humans but don't like getting their ears pulled or eyes poked by your screaming 1 year old. I can't believe how good of a job the staff did at getting probably over 1000 people in and out of their little nursery without any more than a 15-20 minute wait.I saw one woman get out of her $90k Cadillac escalade and soak entire family (with matching Louis Vuitton face masks) down with hand sanitizer and then complain that there wasn't hand washing stations and that she was going to call the department of health. What!?!The ones I really felt bad for was the workers who had to deal with the angry pushy double masked Instagram moms upset at the world because their baby refused to look into their camera because they were seeing an animal for the first time.If I lived in Clifton park and had to be around these entitled spoiled soccer mom's I would probably end up in jail.Be nice to workers because if you are mean and make them all quit everyone else suffers.

If they don't have what you are looking for, you should ask the staff. They may be receiving what you're looking for or what you don't realize you should get in their next shipment. Their plants usually hold up better than other nuseries in the area.

When ever I need mulch, I end up waiting for 15+ minutes because no one gets the message on the radio. Their mulch prices are higher then most places and the cashier is extremely un-personable. I will never come back here!!

NEVER BUY THEIR BIG 12' OR BIGGER Christmas trees!!!! 2nd year in a row we shelled out big $$$ for them to watch them drop/break priceless ornaments. When I called to alert them of their bad trees I was given compassion by girl on phone but when Jon got on there was no compassion to my now practically naked SUPER DEAD xmas tree 5 days before Christmas.. But only to be told it's a dead tree... Really I hadn't noticed Jon! Very disappointed! 🙁
