Well Google reviews indicated fresh donuts were made, unfortunately that is no longer true, when I arrived I found cider in a cute little store that sold chocolate and other items, across the way was where the donut line was....I noticed I couldn't smell them, waited in line for a bit to find prepackaged donuts and not fresh. I asked why they are prepackaged was informed that there was or could be a lawsuit....I don't know...but either way I left very disappointed, purchased the donuts to be kind, most of them went to waste tho as I went to miles up the road to riverview orchard who does make fresh donuts. I was not impressed at all. Parking was relatively easy, the set up was nice, but don't go there if you want fresh donuts, you won't get them.

Took my kids there for apple picking, was enjoyable and the kids had a ball. Can't complain about lack of apple varieties due to going later in the season. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

The farm is lovely and have everything for family and friends. We were there on Early October and there are plenty of apple with so many varieties than I ever known. You should ask for recommendations if you have no ideas which type is the best. They also have cheat sheet that describe more in detail for each varieties. They have small pumpkins lots. Corn maze, Sun flowers lots and many more. The shop and bakeries where you can get hot apple ciders and ices cream. You can buy ticket online for $3 which is cheaper than at the farm ($5)To get to pick the apple, you will also need to buy a plastic bag. Small for $17, Large $35It was very nice and lovely experience. They also have huge parking lot that well organized.

Always the annual tradition with my daughter. The apples, cider, and ice cream never disappoint. Cider is the best in the area, hands down. The ice cream is beyond delicious.

Had so much fun with the family. We purchased the all inclusive pass online and it was so worth it. My 2 year old and 1 year old had a blast. Highly recommended!

Bowman Orchards has a Large selections of apples and pastries. They probably have the best cider donuts and fresh apple cider. There is a small section of old fashioned candy in the gift store. There is lots to do with the kids.from corn mazes, pony rides, apple cannon and tractor rides around the orchard. Currently building a new store on the premises. Big selection of locally grown produce. Mums are in season there as well.

This was my first time here. They had a large variety of apples available. We came early on a weekday so it wasn’t very busy. I can imagine how crowded it gets on the weekend (no thanks). It’s pricey but an overall good experience, especially for kids. My daughter loved it. She also loved the goats, they were very gentle with her. The cider donuts were good too. I will be returning in the future.

Went to the sunflower field at Bowman Orchards. It’s so beautiful. Try to go early in the morning before noon. Usually too crowded during afternoon. There’s also an ice cream shop that sell delicious ice cream. It’s a wonderful place to visit with family.

So many rows of fruit!!!! U-pick is $5 entry, $8.50 per quart (one quart minimum entry), and it is very much worth it because the berries are absolutely delicious. The shop is super fun with lots of fresh produce, baked goods, cider, and trinkets. The homemade ice cream is also delicious.

Pretty small place which was fine. But almost everything was closed down, yet open the day before. No hay ride, no pony rides, no pumpkin patch & the apple trees have maybe 2 rows that actually have apples on the trees along with the only place to get food other than ice-cream closed also

The apples at Bowman are a mixed bag. There were, at the time of my visit in late September, a lot of soft (as opposed to crunchy) and bland varieties. After trying a bunch, two varieties were excellent, the snow sweet and the snapdragon. They sell 25 lb capacity empty bags for $0.25 or you can bring your own. They charge by weight for picked apples on the way out, and they reserve the right to empty your car out in the search for any attempt to smuggle apples out without paying for them. The cider donuts are maybe 3/5, nice sweetness but kind of soggy and not served hot. After enjoying them, go check out their wide variety of animals - goats, sheep, pigs and chickens, and you can feed the first two out of hand. If you come with kids, the playground there is incredible, with a massive wooden pirate ship, train, and tractor!

Been going here for a few years now. Every year they've been becoming more popular and investing in making their property and products more professional. They have so much now that you'll be hard pressed not have fun!Food wise they have, of course, Apples. However they have just about every apple there is. When you go in they'll give you a pamphlet saying which are ripe and ready to pick and a map to find them.By the way, heads up, they started charging $5 entry fee however you can get it back of you spend $25 on apples.Depending on the time of year they also offer berries such as raspberries strawberries and blueberries. Fall time they have pumpkins and fall flowers. I've even purchased corn husks here. After picking Apple's you have to drive your car through a checkpoint where they'll have to inspect your car to make sure you're not hiding any. Then you can leave or park your car in another parking lot by the stores. In this area, you can do and buy many things. They have a bakery where you can get fresh apple cider among other things like fresh apple pie, zucchini bread, cookies and more. They even have an icecream booth! The General store has other farm goods and sells other fresh foods like pre picked apples, cheese, syrup, honey and other home goods. They have a lot of items here that can be used as gifts or toys for the kids. Most importantly they have fresh fudge! If you have kids they have a lot of other activities to keep them entertained. They have a full wooden playground, petting zoo, tractor rides, corn maze, and more! Depending on the time of day you can also get food at a food truckAll in all the property is clean, the staff nice, and the whole business very professional for a apple orchard. The downside is it is a little expensive and can be crowded.

Little pricy, but definitely a great way to spend a fall afternoon. 5$ to park, smallest bag to pick was 17$. Corn maze, a few animals, tons of apple varieties to pick. Concessions and a store available

This was a great experience, however expensive, I was surprised that we were charged per person to get in in addition to the bag to pick apples.

This was my first visit taking the boys apple picking at Bowmans. It seemed well organized, there is a $5.00 car parking fee but they give you one bag. with a map and available apples with section locations.and the staff were friendly and helpful. We picked mostly Macintosh and Gala but they had a variety to choose from well marked with colored ribbons. Depending on when you go depends on available apples for picking. We checked out their sight online. Have fun.

Best place for apple picking in the immediate area I live. Fastastic atmosphere. I don't mind the prices because it's their farm they can charge what they see fit

Very beautiful will come again. Picking ends Sunday 10/18 I believe so go while you can lots of variety apples to pick. Food, cows, ice cream, goats, pigs, hay rides, and pumpkin picking. The $5 fee might only be for apple picking.

Bowman orchards is the place to go for apple picking, pumpkin picking and many other options available to get farm fresh produce. You can even stop in to get some pies for thanksgiving (Apple raspberry is a solid 11/10) cider donuts home made ice cream and more. Reminds me of apple orchards when I was younger and keeps that farm feeling alive. Lots of parking and a whole lot of orchard to pick from. Only complaint I have is no hard cider (this is a request I’d like to see hard cider sold here) regardless I’ve stopped looking for any other orchards in or around the area bowman has my business and I intend to keep it that way

Fall isn't Fall without a trip to Bowman's Orchards. This is the best place to pick apples in this area. When you 1st enter, you are given a map of the orchard showing you were you can find each variety of apple. When you are done picking apples, there is a whole other section that's fun for the entire family. Here you can find hay rides, pony & horse rides, a wooden playground, apple fun, corn maze, farm animal's along with some other fun things. This is a yearly tradition. Don't forget to buy their homemade apple cider donuts on the way out!

June 17, strawberries are just coming in, so you need to look for the ripe plants, but I got $50 of berries in 20 minutes. No complaints here.

This place is nothing but an absolute money grabbing ripoff. 5 of us went apple picking so we were each going to get our own bag, they charged a $25 entry fee for the 5 of us and then wanted $175 for 5 bags for a total of $200, which is absolutely insane. So instead we shared 1 bag between the 5 of us and they charged us $77... to pick your own apples, and that's still absurd. The most insulting part was they were selling bags of already picked apples for $10 less than what it cost to pick your own, they're literally charging you for your own labor.. Lol

When you arrive, you may be expecting a day of warm family farm fun, but what awaits you my friend is a highly predatory, adversarial environment where you are forced to choose between the delicate sparkle of joy in your child’s eye, or filing for bankruptcy. Everything they can think of charging you for, they will charge triple what is reasonable. You can’t bring in your own bags so that they can make you pay for one.In fall 2024 they will charge $15 to park your car, and the year after that they will probably charge you to breathe their air. Most reviews mention how ridiculously overpriced they are, yet they don’t learn and don’t back off. Literally every other Apple orchard with in 100 miles is profoundly more affordable, while they claim their absurd price gouging is “tHe cOsT oF dOinG bUSinESs”Apple picking is $5 per person just to enter, no matter the age. They will literally charge $5 for an infant too weak to pick a single apple, and then they won’t even let you bring your diaper bag in. (Because you might steal their precious gold apples) After you pay $60 for your family to meander around a field, they have the outstanding nerve to charge $30 for a bag of apples THAT YOU PICKED vs the $5 per bag you would pay at the grocery store.I hope these greedy sponges go tail up for preying on families!!They probably pay to have their well deserved negative reviews removed, so I’ll be checking back in to make sure this is still up!!

Impressive apple orchard. If you are willing to deal with the crowd they have excellent fresh cider donuts, cider, ice cream, cider slushies, and cookies. They also have orchards for pick your own apples as well as a playground for the kids. Lots of parking and people directing traffic so that despite the crowds it's a smooth experience.

I’m not one to usually right reviews even when having a bad experience but this was just awful. Not only are you charged $5 a person to pick apples (even for a 3 yr old who’s not really picking anything) then your forced to buy the bigger bag for $34 because the small bag is a 2 person max. So after paying $50 some to pick apples my kids wanted to play which we couldn’t because it would have cost $20 per child to play on a few tires and a dirt pile. It really takes the joy out of a fun day with the family especially telling your children they can’t do something fun due to cost. A few years ago all the activities were free and they weighed your apples for cost. Never again will we be returning.

There was a lot going on here. Between the three types of rides, the apple cannon, the pony rides, the goat feeding, the giant dirt mountain (which for whatever reason was my youngest daughter's main takeaway) and other fun things for kids to do/play with, it was well worth the price of the online wristband ticket for the kids - perhaps not the best deal for the parents or single adults though. The apple orchard also had the most variety of apples available for picking that I've seen yet - most have like 4 to 6 but they had well over 10. I usually am a fan of the Ruby Frost variety but they were a bit too hard here. Fortunately the SnapDragons really hit the spot and the Fuji apples here were much sweeter/juicier than the ones at the other two orchards I've been to this season.

If I could give this place more stars, I would! Incredible, family friendly experience. Everyone always willing to help. Being in a wheelchair can make it a bit difficult to participate in such activities however, as soon as they saw me roll up to the admission shed, they called the handicap accessible hayride that had a bus wheelchair lift and offered a lending hand to my grandmother up the steps of the ride. Very clean and welcoming staff. This will now be an annual tradition. Thank you Bowman’s for starting off our Fall in an amazing way. See you again soon! ❤️
