I was at self checkout when I seen a prompt on the screen to get a military discount. Upon asking customer service how I would apply my military discount they said I had to do it online. Being that I was already on my way out I did not see this as a feasible opportunity to sign up for a military discount. I feel as though I probably should have been offered a military discount as I had asked about it but I guess they don't have enough respect for veterans to just swipe a card and give it to me at that time. Unbelievable.

Ive always had great customer service here. I need to have wood cut to certain dimensions sometimes and the employees have always done their job. So thank you - I don't feel intimidated when I ask for help, and that's a relief.

Asked for linoleum flooring to be cut at 210 inches. He cut if 60 inches short and charged me for the full thing. Got to the job, made all the cuts assuming he made it the length I paid for and came up short. Brought it back and the manager Scott treated me like an idiot and thief. Laughed when he told me I couldn’t return it. Terrible experience and I am telling everyone to steer clear of this Home Depot: I feel like I’ve been robbed and laughed at.

I'm tired of going to this store in need of a specific item and having a male (always) employee either tell me I need something else or try to sell me a different item. Today a guy tried to sell me miniblinds in the wrong size for my window because the size I needed wasn't in stock. Home Depot'd again. They need to treat women like consumers and not idiots. I'm so done with this store.

A warehouse with everything you need, but you don't have strapping tape for boxes/packages? Right.For anyone who needs Strapping Tape, go to Walmart. And don't buy their packaging materials here - $10 for a 12x40 bubble wrap. Yikes.

They contracted the gas stove hookup out to a company unfortunately they did not speak English and had to put their boss on the phone said I needed to call a plumber because I don't have a shut off it was bad and did not work fast forward purchased a gas stove from Earl b fidens they came and hooked it up with no problem said there was nothing wrong with itWith all of the awful accidental explosions due to gas that I have seen in the news I hope this helps someone who would potentially be making a very big mistake going with Home Depot they are playing with people's safety

Never in a million years did I ever expect to find a store to have SEEDLING 🌱 SUPPLIES OR SEEDS so late in the growing season. (Stocked up for next winter/spring. ) ESPECIALLY AFTER the 4th of July 🇺🇸. Wow! I had originally come to Home Depot to get the Giant Paintsticks to use as labels for veggies in the garden. And I kept finding things that I needed or really wanted. I THINK I HAVE FOUND MY REPLACEMENT FOR WAL*MART !!!

Prices are somewhat competitive, and decent selection available (more online, but ship to store is the best option because shipping has proven unreliable with getting the correct item or an intact item).Helpful staff that know their stock and locations, they have earned (and continue to maintain) my business many times over! Thank you, Bruce, you were very helpful when we were grill shopping on our last visit.

Been doing a bedroom renovation and have spent a couple thousand dollars at this home depot over the past couple of weeks. I purchased the wrong size insulation yesterday and when my contractor went to return it today he forgot the receipt. The store employee told him that he could get a store credit. But she left out the fact that the store credit is for the lowest dollar amount that the product has sold for in the past 6 months which ended up being $20 cheaper than what I had paid for it. Upon looking at the receipts I noticed the difference and took the receipts into home depot. At that point the store employee said that she should have mentioned the policy and that there was nothing they could do. I still have to buy flooring and sheetrock and will nevertheless be taking my business to Lowe's. Moral of the story: if an employee makes a mistake cover the difference and don't lose a loyal customer.

Great place to get all of your household or business essentials. Sometimes it's hard to find things but if you look it up on the app it's very straight forward to find anything by aisle and row number. The employees have been very helpful lately. I choose this home depot often over the many others bc of the great customer service

Purchased a GE dryer on Aug 5, 2021, delivered to my new residence on Aug 13. Moved in Aug 23. First load of light cottons took 2 hours to dry, on high heat setting, to a dampness that allowed me to hang dry them. Noticed lint on the floor around the dryer. Pulled dryer out to find the dryer duct disconnected from base of dryer. Part of HD's purchase policy is a mandatory sale of their "kit" to be installed by their contractors. I reinstalled it. Did a second load (yes, I cleaned the filter), same result this time, with even a lighter load. Called East Greenbush store and spoke with appliance associates. "Once it's delivered it's out of our hands". Called Corporate Customer Service. Pleasant, polite, but same result. Long story short, Home Depot will not stand behind their large product purchases. Buyer Beware. They've lost me as a customer forever, but as a ripped-off consumer I will pursue this through every means possible !!

My wife and I are building a home from scratch and now are in the plumbing stages. We needed to purchase a shower, a vanity, faucets, shower head, ect. An employee named Eric went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Helped us pick things out, helped us load to customer service and then even helped us load into our truck and ratchet straped it. I have never had a better experience. Him being there for 22 years truly shows he loves to help people. Thanks Eric!

Customer service here has been terrible both times I have been here. I walked by several employees (and smiled at one of them) 3 times while looking very lost. None of them offered to help me. When I finished self-checkout the guy standing in the area was on his cell phone and didn't greet me or anything. When I finally went and found an employee, he seemed irritated at first, but at least he ended up being nice and helping me find what I needed.

Usually I have a very good experience with this Home Depot. However I don't know what was wrong or what kind of day this employee was having however I was gob smacked at how unprofessional and rude they were. All of their replies were one word answer and they acted like they didn't want to be there. Imagine being a customer asking honest questions and you have Brett just saying "yeah" "Yep" "Nah" "Ok" when asking detailed question about my project. To Brett please work on your communication abilities. It pains me to write this from an otherwise great store....because of the great experience otherwise I could not leave one star.

The store is unorganized and the isles are so packed you can't get through. Forget pushing a cart through the store. Boxes and broken down pallets litter the place. Service is slow too they locked a bunch of stuff up and that's ok but hire staff to unlock it. As a paying customer I don't want to wait an hour for someone to unlock stuff.

Staff are very discriminating not at all helpful, very rude and no one are ready to listen what I was saying. I asked a associate before I buy a wood, he said I can return after after he cut. I went to return, they said sorry we know that it is our mistake but still we can’t help because I am fool and listened to there staff member who is not properly trained. Supervisor literally said I was not there when the associate guided you so I can’t help, how ignorant is that, problem is I am ok if your not refunding my hard working money, she never said that she will talk to associates so that next person will impact because of their lack experience and knowledge.

I would give negative stars if I could. I purchased a portable washing machine for $200 in April. It suddenly stopped working, so I called Home Depot. They told me I'd have to call the manufacturer because they couldn't do anything. They said the manufacturer could help me as the product had a 1 year warranty. The manufacturer said because I purchased it through Home Depot it only had a 3 month warranty. So basically I'm out a bunch of money and no one is taking responsibility for their poorly made product. Thank you all so much.

Usually i have no issues with home depot but today was different. I had asked an employee to help me load mulch onto a cart and he turned around and walked away. he initially responded to me when i asked if he could help me and he reaponded with "what do you need?" It was frustrating.

There are some people that work at this place that are rude. there is an assistant manager who is not polite and treated us in the worst way, his name is Stephen Barron. Home Depot should hire People with education.
