Found myself with a tire imploded 2 hours away from home, and 40 minutes from Utica. Had to find a tow company, and was in a rush to the nearest tire shop, as it was near closing time. I had expected to wait over an hour, but they arrived within 15 minutes and safely got my vehicle to the tire shop. Driver was very nice, they saved the day and my Easter!

The owner Steve is mentally unstable. He has the worst temper of anyone I've ever met. If your car is towed by them pay your bill and get it out of their as soon as you can. They are con artists that try to get anything out of you they can. The younger towtruck driver Brad is a great kid and I can only help but feel bad as he has to know how this place is ran. SCARRY!!!!

Outstanding service! Sean, the owner, used winching and physics to help us get our travel trailer out of a very tricky situation. It was not fast or easy, but he stuck with it for over 2 hours to extricate us without a scratch! We are so grateful:)))

We were traveling in our Durango pulling a travel trailer between Inlet and Old Forge on route 28 when the Durango overheated and was not driveable. Shufelts garage rescued us. Their driverBrad was so efficient and kind. He went out of his way to drop our trailer at our house in Syracuse and then took the Durango to Driver's Village in Cicero. Yay!

1/27/2022Today I locked my car keys nicely inside my car and went into Grandes in Holland Patent NY to eat! It was when I sat down that I realized I LOCKED MY KEYS INSIDE MY CAR!!!!I called AAA and they quickly set me up with Shufelts Service in Remsen NY!In about 15 minutes, a young man named Brad, from Shufelts arrived to help this stranded dope get back into her car!Brad had my car unlocked in seconds! Fast, friendly service!!MANY THANKS TO YOU BRAD!And thank you Mom ❤️ for giving me my first AAA card for Christmas back in 1985!!! (its been the gift that keeps giving for sure!)

Great place and very helpful. Transmission went dry in our truck after a line broke and they took it by flatbed to a neighboring garage for repairs. When we picked it up the next day it only went about 4 miles and was stopping again. To our surprise, it was at Shufelt Citgo - the same people who had taken it the day before. The men in the garage came right out and looked under the hood, checked the fluid level and suggested we leave it there. They were very helpful - offered to leave it there for a couple days until we could make arrangements to get the truck home 2 hours away. Couldn't be happier - too bad for the incident but they were very professional and very helpful. THANKS!!!!

If I could leave less than a star I would. I called for a tow and they refused to come out to get my car, claimed I had an outstanding balance(which was paid over a year ago I have receipts to prove it). I had cash in hand for the tow, won't be calling them again.
