This is not a criticism of the people working this location. They're all wonderful, as well as spectacularly nice and patient. This is a criticism of CVS.Using the pharmacy here is a nightmare. They're consistently understaffed. Prescriptions take hours to get. They're randomly closed or don't have a drive thru because they lack staff.It's not because people don't want to work. It's because CVS wants to run a business without having to pay people. They are a roughly 90 billion dollar company that refuses to pay people a wage that's appropriate for the area. I guess they need that money for their shareholders.

Terrible pharmacist !Went to pick up medication with four-year-old daughter was greeted very rude unprofessionally I felt I was being bullied by the employers they were females also felt the reason why I was greeted harshly was a form of discrimination. Totally unacceptable when working in this type of field. I cannot believe they have people working amongst other people if they cannot please the customer.I’m very disappointed I felt more sorry for my four-year-old daughter who had to witness this otherwise, I would not have felt bad at all because people are mean and will discriminate whenever they feel like it karma is there a friend.

A great place for a laugh!One Tuesday morning a few weeks ago, I went to CVS around 8 AM while waiting for my laundry to be done down the street. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, just browsing. I was the only one in there. A few of the elderly ladies who stock were complaining about the overnight crew who apparently don't do anything right. All of a sudden one of them said, "They don't do f#%!#%! anything!"A young female manager with blonde hair walked by and scolded her, saying, "You know there's a customer in here, right?" The lady's response: "So?!"I almost had to laugh while staring down at the bland selection of overpriced toothbrushes! I smiled, walked out, and finished my laundry. Four stars for receiving a priceless memory. Those ladies certainly are a ball of fire!

The pharmacy staff at this CVS are some of the most rude people I’ve ever come across in my life. John specifically should be fired! They are rude, don’t answer their phone and have NO consideration for anyone else’s time aside from their own and their “lunch”. They would rather lie about their lunch policies than help the last customer that has been standing there for a half hour. Instead they lie and shut the window down on their face and make them wait another half hour while they “eat”. I cannot stand this pharmacy.

I love using CVS is my pharmacy however, I don't like being on hold for over 10 minutes waiting to talk to the pharmacist! I have stood in line and watched all the members of the pharmacy deliberately ignore phone calls and I find that to be very rude. I know they are very busy but ten minutes when people are calling long distance?!

I went into cvs to purchase a few items. When i went up to pay the cashier. The gentleman that was there told me the only way to pay was to use the machine where u scan ur own items. Well i told him i will not be shopping at that cvs anymore. I will not ring myself up since i dont work there unless you are going to cut me a paycheck. There are so many people looking for work and you are out here taking jobs away from them. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN TAKING AWAY JOBS!!!! until u put cashiers back on place you lost a customer and i will make sure there are more to fallow.

Pharmacy Constantly packed not enough staff I. Any Pharmacy. And now millerton was closed when my daughter needs a medication to relieve a bad rash. Because of a medical emergency but have no other staff to open???

If you live in this area, do yourself a favor and get your prescriptions from Hannaford's. I've been to this CVS a few times so far, and every time, the line at the pharmacy has been very long and taken forever to get through. They also simply do not answer the phone. But clearly the staff is overworked - someone needs to evaluate the staff power needed to meet their demand. At Hannaford's, they are super friendly, answer the phone, and move quickly.

I have never been to a CVS pharmacy with such excessive wait times as this one. The drive thru is always backed up. In store is always backed up. I am currently on line in store with 12 other customers waiting to pick up their prescriptions. I don’t understand why this pharmacy is so different in terms of wait time from all the others I’ve been to- hudson, Albany, etc.

Nice staff but management must be oblivious to how overworked the pharmacy crew is. Consistently long waits for prescriptions that were supposed to be ready the previous day. If there was another place to go, I’d be there but oh wait, there’s no more pharmacy competition! So, yeah this isn’t going to change. Welcome to the new, less charming, corporatization of retail health care. ‘Merica at its best — ironically more Soviet style in the lack of choice than ever before.

Bought a cassette converter that didn't work. Tried to return it 5 minutes after buying it and the woman wouldn't give me a refund because I threw the receipt away. Terrible customer service. On a separate occasion, filed a prescription, which the pharmacists messed up on several occasions. Didn't keep me informed, highly incompetent, didn't follow through on what they said they would do. I had a limited time before my insurance expired to get it filled (which they knew) and they took so long that it ended up expiring. Customer service clearly isn't a priority here.

I have used the red hook CVS for many years. It has deteriorated to the extreme! Wait half hour at the window or inside. unnecessary whether it's a staff shortage or not. Terrible 😔

This pharmacy is terrible. Every time I go to pick up a medication I am waiting forever just to be told they don’t have it. My son was diagnosed with an infection and needed his antibiotic TODAY and when I show up they have the nerve to ask if it’s needed tonight…you’re still open and this was sent over 2 hours ago…YES ITS NEEDED TONIGHT! Not to mention they never answer the phone. I only switched here because my old pharmacy stopped taking my insurance…I will be finding a new pharmacy.

I don’t mind this place too much. Happy to find it conveniently located across the street from where I was staying—especially when I needed an umbrella and ibuprofen. The entrance from the main drag is a long dirty tunnel. Very strange. Love the New York accents and east-coast frankness. This CVS accepted my out-of-state loyalty account number.

Rx was called in prior to their opening. I arrived 10 minutes after opening and was told it wasn't ready and to come back in 10 minutes. I can back 40 minutes later and it still wasn't ready. Was told to come back in 10 minutes. I insisted they fill it and was told the pharmacist was busy doing flu shots.

This CVS is horrible. You will sit on hold for an hour, and even the manager doesn't pick up the phone. You simply cannot get through. Also, they messed up a prescription big time. Horrible.

Drive through is the slowest I've ever seen and also the phone wait time is so long I could drive there and ask myself in a shorter amount of time. The rest of the store besides the pharmacy is fine.
