Due to a housefire last year, we needed a place to temporary live with the RV camper. It was during a holiday weekend and they managed to squeeze us into a spot. We end up buying another camper from the owner, Sam. We have now become seasonal campers at the park. Hopefully this year we can actually enjoy it and not put it together to live in. Sam has a lot of really good used RVs for sale, especially if you’re handy with tools as they do need a little tender, loving care looking forward for some relaxing moments at Paradise Park campground this summer .

There are still good people in this world. Sam is one of them, and lucky for you, he owns this campground. Not only did Sam stay late to get us a site at his campground after an exhausting day of travel and a miscommunication on the place we originally booked, but he helped us with our hitch on our way out of town. Thankful for the hospitality and the genuine kindness. Definitely recommend this campground as a landing spot to explore the Watkins Glen area!

00000 Stars. I can't even Rate this place, even take a picture of it. Don't WASTE your money. They do not have parking by the cabins for the people who are handicap. That can't walk far. They were unable to keep there car by the Cabin, and have to park far away, and somehow manage to walk to the restroom and back to the cabin. That is not even close, to the cabins like the campground said they were. And the other guests will call and complain that if you pull up to unload your vehicle, and expect you to carry your baggage to the cabin. It's not a good place for anyone who is Handicap and have to use oxygen.

I have been coming here for going on 2 years. Sam does alot for kids and something going on every weekend. The kids don't pay attention to cars, just go in front of you, but that's on the parents. There is. a 5 mph spend limit, if caught you will be told to leave. I just bought a camper from Sam, he will work with you on it, the park is well kept, but there is sites that don't but that's because of the one's on the site, not Sam's. There is a small store, game room and heated pool, kids must be supervised at all times when at the pool. I enjoy all my time we are at it. I give it a 5 stars

Not the best camp site. We had a storm roll in and destroy all 3 of our tents after we rented 2 camp sites for 2 days, so we were not able to stay the second night, and they refuse to give any kind of refund. So now I am out $88.00 for one night of camping that I did not get. On top of that they advertise they have all this stuff to do and their is nothing but a pool and fishing. Staff was not friendly at all. They have permanent sites there and if you don't have one of them your treated like your an alien. Absolutely rediculous.

People partying up past midnight. A man peed in the road in front of my children. Another woman used the grass behind our site as a bathroom. 2 People were fighting. This was a horrible place to bring children I'd never stay again. Children ride bikes and scooters faster than the car speed limit with no helmets darting constantly in front of vehicle. It's a law suit waiting to happen. Did I mention People crossing to the bathrooms using our campsite entire time. Try anywhere but there!

This was nit anything like I was told over the phone. Many season holders with a lot of trash around there campers some lots empty with trash piled there. The pictures must have been set up as this camp site does not appear this nice. Miniature golf broken when we took kids to swimming pool was closed early. Tractor rides do exist. Playground area looks run down. The whole area unfortunately looks like it needs a face lift.

Decent campground. Not very notable, but provides a place to sleep and bathroom/shower. The showers have weak water pressure and the shower heads spray the water in many different directions, making it difficult to properly rinse off. Overall, provides a decent place to stay and isn't horrible, though not particularly well-kept.

This place seems like it’s nice on the page but when you get here it’s a complete let down. The speed limit is 5 mph which is reasonable but you have people driving side by sides doing 20+ at all hours of the night. I am happy it’s a dog friendly place but a lot of people who stay here every summer don’t pay great attention to there dogs so you got that noise going on. If you don’t have a camper good luck going to the bathroom or even showering as almost all of the bathrooms and shower houses are down. The place looks very poorly taken care of. If you want a nice place to stay. Don’t come here. 40$ a night is not worth the experience!

We stayed here for the first time over the weekend. The staff in office was very friendly. The bathrooms need to be cleaned better and needs updating. The worst part was being in B11 across from the dumping station. It was disgusting and the smell was totally horrible. They should not rent those sites because it is really bad. They had plenty of other open sites and I was sad that they put us in that site with that disgusting smell. The pool was very nice. The campsite is very close to Watkins Glen. They have a lot of permanent people who stay and not many people who tent. Everyone seemed very friendly. We would have had a much better experience if they hadn't placed us where we would have to deal with the smell. We probably will not be back.

People in the office were nice. It has a little arcade which provided some fun. Little store was stocked well and even has rv supplies (like lights and maintenance parts), the pool was easily accessible and nice. The park itself... well that was the downfall. During the day it was okay. There are alot of seasonal or full timers here and looks a bit run down. The full timers were not nice. The problem was when the sun went down... this is not a quiet or friendly park. I personally wouldn't bring my kids to this place. The short term rv spots are lacking any privacy. Not my cup of tea but I'm sure if you were a regular you might recieve better.I will add we decided to check out next morning and the owner refunded the 2 night remaining. I appreciated that

Ok, this is not a "look at me in my fancy new RV that's so expensive" type place. It is privately owned, and for campers who want to relax and families that want to have fun. The bath houses are basic and dated, but clean and functional, that's all I need. Your campsite comes with water, electric, and cable. They have themed weekends the entire summer and into early fall, so families will be happy because there is always something to do. There's a playground, a pond for fishing, a heated pool that was rather nice to swim in even on the not-so-hottest day, movie nights, and on and on and on. The camp store was stocked enough it impressed me, plenty of last minute supplies AND parts if something is needed for your rig. My child had an amazing weekend playing, and we had an amazing weekend relaxing, so win-win. We will be back

At least a dozen or more children had their feet cut open from the pool, lady running it didn't care, just simply asked if they needed a bandaid! Campers there are friendly!! Just not the people inside!! No care at all about the kids hurting from their pool. Absolutely ridiculous!!

It's a bit of a redneck party, but awesome if that's your thing. Not really a peaceful to get away, but it's a great jumping off point for the area's attractions. The kids had a good time. The staff was friendly and the grounds were pretty well cleaned up considering how early in the season we stayed. Could have done without the seasonals dropping F-Bombs in front of the kids. That being said they were reasonably nice temporary neighbors. This place does not have full hook-ups. They do however have bathrooms with showers and a dump station.

We camp seasonally so this may be a bit biased but it really is a great campground. The weekends are mostly kid-oriented, with a hayride, train ride, candy hunt, Friday night movie, etc... Each weekend has a theme, with 2 weekends of Halloween in September being a fan favorite. There's a heated pool, playground, basketball hoops, mini golf, fishing ponds, etc... Sam & Ann go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time.

Second year 2016Had a good time with all of the activities just like in the first year of camping. kids at the play ground having a good time, swimming pool (HEATED) dish to pass dances and adults running around in the golf cart. I have good campers beside me couldn't ask for much more.Best of all this year Sam likes to wheel and deal / turned our lives around 180 degrees. If you look at something he might say would you like to trade or make a deal, I seen a slide out camper when looking around with a friend at campers that needed some clean up work, Sam said would you like to make a deal OK traded later it turned out real nice when done . Later in the season Sam said would like to trade cars OK I didn't dare to look at Ann car. Had a good time through out the season looking forward to the third year.Thank you Doug/Marilynn

What an enjoyable time I had there! The people are so friendly. The park is very clean. The heated pool is delightful! It was close to many things to do in the area. I will definitely go back!

We camped in tents for three days at this campground. Not only were the facilities absolutely disgusting, but they were barely functional. There was no potable water available, the restrooms were about to fall apart, the ceilings were caving in, the showers were covered in mold and had dirt and used band-aids all around. The whole experience was absolutely appalling.

Beautiful scenery. No sewer service. Power was insufficient as there were many campers. Our campsite was full of ruts and staff was not very accommodating other than to offer a broken shovel to fill in holes.

The park needs some updates, paint, indoor swimming pool, zip line, a lake to go boating on, lazer tag, walking / Hiking trails, fourwheeler trails. The property itself needs to be cleaned up. The owner or manager has so much junk around the property that it makes the place look bad. They have an area where they have campers for sale. And they have trucks and other things there also. It makes the place look table. If they got rid of all the junk, cleaned the place up and added the things i said it would be a great place.

Wow. Just drove through today, haven't been since I was a kid. Really expanded. While there is a lot of activities for the kids, most of these sites(seasonals) look like total trash dumps. I felt like I needed a tetanus shot just looking at them. To each there own, but I would never stay there! Shame, used to be well kept.

Before my wife and I picked this park we did a lot of looking. We looked at camps in New York and Pennsylvania. We can't complain. We have the best neighbors you could ever ask for. The owners are very friendly. There is so much more to say about this place. The best thing I can say is to come and experience it for your self.

As a seasonal camper I might be biased, but this is a great campsite. There is something to do every weekend of the season. Golf carts are allowed with proof of insurance. Heated pool, playground, fishing, etc... Something for everyone!
