I'm always pleased with the service at Randolph Veteranary. The staff are great & always helpful. Most importantly- I've had to call on two separate occasions when they were closed with emergency questions & within a hour after leaving a message I get a call back. My puppy is happy & healthy! I'm very grateful. Thank you very much!!

If this vet weren't so reasonably priced, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. We had the unfortunate experience of putting our dog to sleep yesterday.We had taken her earlier in the day, and the vet requested to keep her for observation. As it turned out, she was very ill and had been in liver failure for longer than we were aware of. The vet had suggested that we put her to sleep because she was in a considerable amount of pain. I was an hour away from the vet and went STRAIGHT there when they called me. My husband is a truck driver and was in Batavia when they called me, and then I called him to tell him what was going on.When I get to the vet office, it was after closing hours. I asked the receptionist if they would please wait until my husband arrived before putting her to sleep, so he could say goodbye to our furry family member. To which I received a very unfriendly, "ugh... probably not" from another woman sitting near the front desk. The vet techs basically rushed me into the exam room asking me the charges that had accumulated while she was there, and if I wanted to cremate her... It was incredibly overwhelming.The tech stalled a little bit longer telling me that if I didn't make a decision then and there, that we would have to come back the next day (and she scoffed off looking to see if there was any open appointments). She returned to tell me that we could bring her back at 3 pm, but the vet was leaving and we had to make a decision. My husband WAS 20 MINUTES away this point, and probably breaking the sound barrier to get there.With a heavy heart and tears running down our faces we relented and told the vet to put her to sleep with my husband on the phone because they just wouldn't wait for him... I eventually lost my temper with the tech when she asked again when he was going to get there; and they let me sit with our pup that was no longer with us.It was most insincere and unsympathetic treatment that I have ever received when putting down a beloved animal. I understand that it was the end of the day and well passed the time the staff was supposed to go home... but did that extra 2 hours really make or break their day? I do think this whole situation could have been handled much differently and with a lot more compassion considering it is a VETERINARIAN clinic.I truly hope that we are alone in this unfortunate situation because NO pet owner should ever have to go through what we did with the treatment of putting our pet to sleep. The Randolph Veterinarian staff that night should be ashamed of themselves, and I hope that they never experience what we did with their own animals.

Update 2024: I just brought a litter of 8 pups to get their first shots.The vet tech helped me bring the puppies and the vet checked and administered shots to all 8 of them in about an hour! Everyone was efficient and kind.Thanks to all the wonderful staff.So wonderful. We recently moved to the area and one of our pups got hit real bad with a porcupine. I called around to area vets. Either no one answered not even orchard Park veterinary hospital that's supposed to be open 24 hours.the ones that did answer said they weren't taking new patients because of covid-19. When I called Randolph veterinary clinic they told me they loved taking out porcupine quills from dogs. I drove the 40 minutes to drop off the dog. I arrived at 10 AM. The vet tech greeted me at my car, saw the severity of the quill work, he had one in his eye, and took him right in. They said they would call at 2 p.m. which they did, right on time. We picked him up, with his meds and we're given instructions to care. Everyone we encountered was caring and professional. People were coming from all over to get care for their fur-babies and they were prompt and efficient. So happy they helped us. There's a 50/50 chance his eye will be saved. They told us straight but were kind in the way they did. We have another appointment in a week, will update then....Bear's eye was saved. It was cloudy for awhile, but a year later he's good to go. This visit we brought our great pyrenees for a checkup and shots. Done in an hour. They clipped her nails and offered affordable heartworm pills. Super friendly staff, professional, and located in a beautiful setting.

Had an emergency with our puppy on a Friday night, so we called Saturday morning and left a message. We received a call back to bring our girl in that evening at 18:00. So we showed up, and sadly, she had to have immediate surgery. He kept her and did the surgery that evening, and we picked her up Sunday morning at 9 am. She has antibiotics and pain medication. I highly recommend them. Thank you!!!

Competent care and reasonable service rates. Well worth the drive from Buffalo. There was a $400 savings on the procedure as compared to the local vet.

I have had GREAT experiences with John inkley but his brother I find to be not as knowledgeable, compassionate or as driven about his work. I didn't know until yesterday that there are 2 inkleys. I dont want to slam the other one. Im hoping maybe yesterday was an off day. I really hope it was. Thank you John Inkley for calling us and making sure you took care of us. I appreciate you and everything you do. You have taken care of our familys needs since you opened.

We recently had to lay our beloved Bandit to rest, not only was the staff very sympathetic to our situation, but they handled our needs very professionally. Called today to ask about a vaccination for rabbits (RHDV2) and the girl states we dont see rabbits... i tell her I've taken my rabbits there multiple times. It would be lovely if all office staff knew the animals treated thrre.

Dunno if it’s just me but I don’t have a nice experience with the workers over the phone and in person. They seem irritated and rushed the majority of the time. It seems as if it’s a burden for them to see my animals. Fine place if you don’t have an emergency or more than one pet.

By far the best vet I have ever been to! Martyn was absolutely amazing. He was kind, pleasant and hysterical… I laughed the entire time we spoke. He was great with my dog and I really appreciated his thoroughness with explaining everything to me and just his general disposition.They definitely have earned a loyal new patient :)

We have been taking our dogs & cats to Randolph Veterinary Clinic since Dr. John Inkley opened the doors. it's been close to, if not more than 20 years. We drive an hour to get there and it's worth it. EVERYONE that works here are very kind, courteous, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. Our St. Bernard Lucy needed a full knee replacement when she was 1 &1/2 yrs. old. Dr. John Inkley & Dr. Martyn Inkley did the surgery and Lucy runs and plays like she never had a knee problem. The prices are wonderful. The Veterinarians are the BEST...

Brought my dog in for a tumor on his foot. Female Veterinarian who examined him had no clue it was there and told me “he doesn’t have a tumor.” It was golf ball size on the back leg foot. My 5 year old niece could have spotted it. Now they won’t refund my money for the visit and I’m in the process of filing a State Board of Veterinary Medicine Complaint myself.

3 years ago I gave this office a 5 star review but I definitely need to change this to 1 star. I have been coming here for 4 years. Things you need to know:1. The care has declined drastically as they have taken on more animals than they can help.2. The staff have lost their compassion and could care less if you are concerned or in need.3. It took over a year to diagnose my dog's fracture which would be understandable as I know the medical field, but the journey along the way was filled with doubt, unresponsiveness and absolute rude and disrespectful behavior.4. Because everyone is paying out of pocket for care, you would think they might go above and beyond to keep their patients happy.5. I will add that they have exceptional surgical care and trustworthy when under the knife with your animal.I hate to leave long negative google reviews but very sad to see the decline in this office and after 2 years of rude experiences, I have decided to leave. Disheartening to find in my dog's paperwork that they called her a fractious piece of work.I do not recommend for routine care however I do have trust in their surgical expertise.

When we lost our dog, they cared for almost 12 years. We got no "I'm sorry." Just a piece of paper in the mail with a D for deceased after his name. Orchard Park was amazing. They said we could sit with him as long as we needed it, and there was no rush. The very next day we received a card with flower seeds to plant in his memory and they never had him as a patient. We also had to put our cat down at Inkley. After the veterinarian injected the medicine. He said, "Are you done?" 😳 While we mourned.

Disgusted with this vet. I have taken my dogs here for over 8 years and commuted an hour to get here all 8 of these years. I haven’t had an issue in the past but when I needed them the most they were of no help. I called today with an emergent issue and was told I had to wait over two weeks to be seen. When asked what I should do I was told “I don’t know there’s nothing we can do to see you sooner.” I called a different vet, 5 minutes from home with excellent reviews and was able to be seen hours later as a NEW patient. Where is the loyalty here? My vet I have had for over 8 years and has done multiple operations on both my dogs couldn’t be bothered to adjust their schedule to see my sick dog. Had my dogs records faxed over and turns out they either ignored or missed my dog has had diabetes for months. The new vet noticed it was present on blood work from July after I was told his blood work was all normal from that visit. At this point it is very advanced and my dog is quite Ill. Don’t take your animals here if you love them. They may be cheaper than others but the quality is simply not there. Shame on you RVC.

The best!! I recommend them to everyone. We have many dogs and breed professionally as well with our dogs requiring c-sections. We live an hour away and drive just because they are so awesome. They have been life savers-literally. We have been to many vets over the years and they are great, especially compared to the over priced vets in the city.
