I've been visiting this Deli for over 30 years! (Before it was bought out, & now there is brand new ownership!!) It has changed its name and ownership, but for over 30 years up until currently, now I still refer to it as Michael's Deli. But...the only 2 things that have changed completely, Are the fact it is run by new ownership, and is now called deli delight instead of Michael's Also the food is extremely delicious and more options of it inside! By saying that, I'm referring to the food being just as delicious, or should I say.. more delicious, then I remember going to it from 30 plus years back. They also have a little more options to choose from, and very nice employees! The only 2 complaints I can sincerely, say that it is extremely expensive and most of the prepared foods or packaged items are double and triple the price way before everything happening in our economy now. They raised by triple the prices when the economy was doing good! Also they will not accept my food stamp card, and it is very hard to walk to the closest deli in a town that has no public transportation which and the grocery store are 8 miles apart from each other, and I can walk 8 Miles, but I cannot walk the eight miles home because they removed the bus system from this whole section of Long Island! I and disabled and I don't drive don't drive and they do not accept food stamps and have a very very small option to buy aspirin or simple things when you're too tired to cook most delis have a special freezer part in it with just emergency meals if somebody's in a rush! Now everything they serve that I am still saying is just as delicious, quote just because they're the only place I can walk to because I don't drive! The only complaints that I can make are how extremely high the prices have changed, those prices were that high way before the economy had anything to do with it! And its location is not very easy to get to because I don't drive, but they also do not accept food stamps! I understand economy and people needing more money but this Deli has raised it ad prices almost by double before anything is happening with the government and money and the downfall of our government!

This is a great spot for a tasty sandwich. You can tell it is a popular place because is was busy as can be through lunch hour. Lots to choose from, and they offer premium lunch meats.

Got a hero and asked them to add mozzarella and roasted red pepper. I paid and it was extra to add those things, I open my sandwich and it’s not on it. Way too expensive to not give the customer what they ordered.

We found this place on a whim. We were leaning a home on a nearby road and decided to stop in for a coffee. Once inside we found a great selection of hot foods as well as many other things to grab for a snack. My wife got a plate of rice and black beans with vegetables. Everything was tasty, hot and fresh! I got a sandwich, and it was really good. Fresh roll and great tasting. If you are near by I highly recommend this place!

Horrible deli. Ordered cheese popusa and got beans...my bacon egg and cheese was burned and taste worse than it looks. Over priced and just terrible quality

I had a very positive experience. I called on a Sunday morning and requested a meal for 10. The employee promised to have someone from ownership call and they did within 3 hours. I got help with the menu, did the entire transaction over the phone, and it was easy. The attitude was great and I am certain the family receiving the food will enjoy. Thank you for making it easy.

My friend and I went once and we now have a morning tradition of going. We absolutely love the coffee and hot chocolate they have there. We pick up bagels too. Overall a nice experience. Very friendly staff that always smiles and genuinely seem happy to help. Best Deli around. Just make sure to get there earlier in the morning on weekends if you want the bagel of your choice.

I've been going here for several years and my order is always as I ask. On top of that it is delicious. Great place, great people, great food. Their chicken salad is second to non. Also their hot meals are definitely worth the trip for lunch. (fried chicken,ribs, chicken cordon bleu, macaroni and cheese. chili, black beans, white rice, and the like) Thanks again for your great food.

Serious scammers. Price as listed was $13.99/lb. Was rung up on a scale that instead used $18.99/lb. Then, at the register, the price changed to $19.75/lb.Avoid this place.

I got pancakes and empanadas they were so good and my friend got soft tacos and chicken soup everything was super good and delicious and staff are super nice and friendly.

Love the place ❤️. Really good sandwich. Variety of food and drinks (hot and cold). Lots of last minute snacks. Everything at really good prices too! Definitely Recommend ,gets busy which means really good quality,food,service, AND presentation!

I like going to this Deli for coffee and a bagel , but The lunch sandwiches 🥪 are a must ! They are very busy which indicates they have very good food. They don’t show vegetarian options on the menu but you can create your own sandwich which is great .

Very rude and bad customer service. I’m a first time customer so I’m looking at the menu two employees approached me at different times and they were very rude and impatient. They asked me if I needed help then cut me off every time I tried to answer with some response like “well let me know when you’re ready.” It didn’t make sense how impatient they were because I was the only customer in there. I left there feeling minorly disrespsected and to top it all my sandwich was soggy and inedible. I got the bonjoure madam...I’m never going there again and I’m sorry I wasted my money. No customer should feel how they made me feel or recieve the sandwich I received. If I knew how to upload pictures in this I would show how disgusting the sandwich they gave me is.

I must say I stop at this deli delight twice a day 7 days a week they are the best they treat me like I am a queen and I am very please by the way they treat their customers. I would never go anywhere else. They get 10 stars from me

I would have given this place 4 stars, except for that fact that it is during COVID and many of the employees were wearing chin guards. The masks need to cover your face, including your nose. Some of the customers were coming in with masks down or off. It was getting crowded, making it hard to socially distance, they had no limit posted as to the number of people that could be in the store at one time. You are handling food people, wake up.

This is one of the best deli's on the east end. The food is incredible and they don't overcharge like every other deli out east. Definitely worth stopping in.
