I have to use this store because of a specific type of bird food my birds eat, but the prices are too high, and the service at this particular location is too slow. People left one younger guy on register while the others played with people's dog while there were 6 people in line. For 2 bags of bird food it took almost 20 minutes to check out and I was number 4 in line...

My cats are on a Purina 1 diet as it's the only food that doesn't make them sick and throw up or cause skin irritations. I like that Petco keeps purina1 wet cans in stock because Walmart and Market 32 only sell a fraction of what petco does.

Staff was a little rude, it was early so maybe they woke up on wrong side of the bed but that’s no excuse… sorry. The girl who checked us out was the one being rude to us, I forgot her name but it was kinda like a gladiator name? It was very weird maybe started with a G or C, and her name popped up first on the list of names when she typed the number in. Oh also, I’m a chameleon/reptile expert and the heat lamps that they use for the animals is definitely not good and these animals will most likely become sick. Also to add onto that, I looked at the chameleon food and it’s dead crickets-? Um hello they only eat living things, dead things make them sick. Andddd they had 3 chameleons in the same enclosure but definitely not enough things to climb, it was maybe enough for at least one, BUT 3 heckkkkk noooo. No hate though, hope they have a good day and continue to improve the store AND the service! God bless 🏼

I took my dog for her first grooming appointment at 1:00. Despite arriving on time, they were running behind and placed her in a crate, triggering her severe crate anxiety due to her past as a bait dog in dog fights. Unaware of this, I left her there, resulting in crate destruction and injured gums. Upon picking her up, they hadn't used the requested buffer for her nails, opting for clipping instead. Despite emphasizing her peanut allergy, she exhibited signs of peanut exposure, leading to hours of vomiting foam. Overall, it was a distressing experience that didn't justify the cost.

Literally one of the worst places on earth. Along with the animals being so stressed out that they’re pulling apart their cages, the staff decides to just leave *dead* animals sitting on display. An honestly atrocious and heartbreaking place to be, I hope this terrible company gets shut down for good some day. The picture attached was one of SEVERAL dead beta babies they’ve just left sitting out, as if his life didn’t matter. This place is disgusting, maybe people don’t care since they’re “just fish”, but please rest assured that the fish aren’t the only souls suffering here.

Horrible I went to buy frozen food for my snake but when I went to feed he however they killed it to freeze it was in disgusting condition. My poor snake would not even eat it. I had to dispose of it. Complete waist of money not sure where they get there food from but really sickening. This is the second time this has happened to me from Petco once ordered online and now directly from the store.

I think this is the third time I went the checkout and there are no employees to be seen. The crickets chirped, time passed and about 8 to 10 minutes later someone finally appeared. At least the place is relatively clean.

U like this pet shop they have a very large assortment for all your pet needs. From reptiles to fish to cats and dogs. And there prices are reasonable too.

The store seemed fine. It was difficult to find the cat food I was looking for, and no one assisted me, nor did there seem to be anyone around. What was worse was that the food I always buy from Chewy or Amazon, and this time only bought at Petco, was a different color than what I have always had for the very same food, not a reddish brown as usual, but a grayish brown, although the sell-by date was OK. There also was almost no scent when I opened the bag, and there typically is, and the cats attack it immediately. They are not eating this food. I'm guessing that it's either stale or spoiled. I won't buy dry cat food here again.

The dog treats section has thinned out a bit and not for the better, still great varieties at good prices and very friendly staff. Between the dog, cats and tortoise in this store every couple of weeks.

Nice store setup, have a nice selection of items. There were some obstacles in a few of the aisles made it interesting to go to the checkout. Cashier seemed stressed out but was quick. All the future pets seemed healthy and cages were clean.

Went to get my dog groomed here as I’ve been doing and was told by an employee named Ashley she would not do it because she said it would take too long when I’m usually told 2-3 hours anyway and then said she would not put her brush in my dirty dog and also mentioning she doesn’t get paid enough to do the work on my dog! Horrible!

Deeply dissatisfied with the grooming. The groomer on duty shaved my double-coat dog down to her skin, not only causing skin irritation but also is cause for serious concern about future coat regrowth. What happened yesterday was highly upsetting, typically we’ve had great experiences here but the groomer that was on duty yesterday did not do a satisfactory job. However, the manager was very helpful and kind during our interaction.

I have shown up 3 times now to get a dog’s nail trim at the salon only for them to have a paper sign on the door saying closed. You can’t schedule an appointment for a nail trim so I don’t know what I’m supposed to do besides find somewhere else to do it. It’s a shame because they were really good with my dog the first time.

Went in for new dog food a lady I think her name was Kelly or something like that. She didn't hold me up forever talking which was a plus since I was running a little behind. Anyway she 100% did help me get exactly what I needed very quickly and super easily then sent me on my way. Very professional and informed she new what I needed to know!! Thank you 🐾🐶

I gave it one star for being clean. And a star for being well stocked and having what I needed. I unfortunately don't feel I can give a higher rating at this time. I was in the store about 20 mins. Not one employee acknowledged me in any way. Not even the cashier said anything but asked for my phone number and told me my total. That is ALL that she said. Not even a hello.For me, customer service is the most important part of a retail position.I will probably return at some point. If I have a better experience, I will update my ratingI have an update... I went back to this petco location. Again not one employee acknowledged my existence. Wondered around the store looking at animals and supplies. Overstock carts were dangerously high. I was hoping the pro plan dog food bags wouldn't fall on me as I passed by.Fish department was not visually pleasant in any way.Birds and reptile enclosures looked clean. I got what I needed. Waited long at the register even tho the line wasn't long. Cashier mumbled a phone number question and gave me my total. Honestly, I felt like I was intruding.Will I return... probably if I need to. Bensons pet store is just around the corner from this store. Just sayin.
