The whole staff from the pharmacist, check out staff, and delivery driver are the most superb people to do business with. Not only are they the best pharmacy I've ever dealt with in my life, they are probably the best business of any kind too. If I could I'd double my rating.

As someone in recovery and a pharmacy technician at another retail pharmacy, I will never go to another pharmacy. I live about an hour from this pharmacy and work is about 20 min away. I dont mind one bit because the pharmacists at this Kinney Drugs are WONDERFUL. There's a bad stigma around buprenorphine and what it is used for, and it is pretty typical for pharmacies to treat people on it as less than because of their past. I've seen it and I've experienced it myself. The staff at this pharmacy has NEVER done that in the 4 or more years I've filled here, if anything they have done the entire opposite! They are incredibly accommodating and understanding, as long as they see consistency and you're not asking to fill days early every month, they do want to help and make life easier. I seriously appreciate this place and the staff so much, they've taken a substantial stresser in my life (my hours match their hours most times, so figuring out when to go get my meds or who to get my meds while not missing work can be seriously challenging sometimes) and again, they are plenty willing to help me figure it out. I can't thank everyone at this Kinney's enough! 😊

New to area and store is 2 mins away. Dropped off script and they had to call Dr. They never called me back about it. 4 days later I called and the woman wanted to argue. She was confrontational. Never will I step foot in there store. This is the Queensbury NY store.

Initially I gave this facility 1 star due to the following previous inserpt of mine. The individual mentioned below is no longer there and I'm happy to change my scoring as the following post was only to warn others. Previous to the individual mentioned I had never experienced a bad day there. Great people for sure!!!!Previous post 4/16/23 "I'm only giving this place 1 star because there is a blond who works there who is completely rude. She cuts you off when you're speaking and doesn't even acknowledge the fact that the transaction is over. It's surreal...."No longer an issue!!

Best pharmacy I've ever been to! Staff is polite, patient, and competent. Pill packs are made correctly, only need one month lead time, and are hand delivered for free. They call me if an Rx is missing and to confirm delivery date. Some issues with poor communication and running out of stock, but every pharmacy I've been to has had the same problem on a similar level. I really have to emphasize how much better than the rest Kinney's is overall. A real breath of fresh air after McCann's, who were aggressively rude, constantly told me conflicting things, needed 3 months lead time to start pill packs, and told me it was too much trouble to change my pill packs when I had a prescription change. It's like finding true love after breaking up with an abusive boyfriend.

The pharmacy I regularly use refused to give my 6 year old son the covid shot last night. She said "I'm not equipped to deal with this. Children like him need to go to somewhere else. I'm just a pharmacist."This is after she spent 10 minutes trying to convince him that it's better than the flu shot, telling him how big the needle is, how it's going to hurt but just a little. She used her finger to jab him in the arm a few times. I guess to try to get him used to it???? He didn't like that (who would?).He has autism and doesn't yet grasp what vaccines are, he only understands that they hurt. After the 10 minute conversation with him, she came back in the room, showed him the needle and he started to scream. I had him in a bear hug, ready to hold him still. Her, needle in hand, says she's not vaccinating him, that other children are waiting and we needed to leave.She wouldn't vaccinate him because "children like him" need to go somewhere else. I'm not autistic but I still freaked out about shots when I was a kid. I can't imagine that most kids are calm when they get a shot.Friday was one of those moments where I am shown my son is different. People treat him differently and it makes life harder than it should be. Less than 5 seconds was all I needed from her. She had the syringe in her hand when she told us to leave. We waited a month for this appointment.ETA:I called the pharmacy three days later and I was speaking to someone about transferring our prescriptions to another pharmacy. The pharmacist got on the phone just to argue with me about what happened as if I would forget something like that. So not only does she discriminate against the disabled but she goes the extra step to gaslight her victims.DON'T GO HERE!!!

Excellent service! We needed an emergency refill while passing through town. Not only did they transfer and fill within an hour, but also stayed past closing so we could pick up! Than you Kiera and Kinney staff!
