They have a lot you wouldn't find at, say, Walmart. Their prices are also much higher than Walmart for most things. It's the closest and most convenient place for me to shop, however, so I end up shopping here more than anywhere else.I also love that they have a couple of bookshelves where you can leave or take books. I've gotten a couple books there and have left 20 or more. I like the idea of sharing books with the community. It makes the store so much more homey.

Not good!. Took out $200 and only received $180, I had not been gone for more than 5 minutes and called as soon as I seen I was short $20. The lady working said she see's it but cant do anything until the morning. They took my name and number to call me back. Here we are almost 24 Hr later and No one called me back so I call. They said the deposit was not off so now we have to look at the footage. Someone came out lucky with an extra $20.

Yikes! I wouldn't buy meat here if you said it was the last place on earth! The cases were disgusting and the packages meat was very... Scary looking. Not to mention when I picked one package up, the bottom was slimy with leaking chicken juice!

I love Hannaford and shop there regularly. The self checkout works smoothly and there are always plenty of registers open as well.

Some of the employees follow you around the entire time. It was uncomfortable. Not my first pick of grocery stores.

Unjust treatment by store manager. My husband attempted to buy non alcoholic beer with a UK license (as he's British). This was refused as they don't accept a non US form of ID. The manager also refused his ID and stated we needed a US issued ID. I then went to the car to retrieve my US passport. Upon return, the manager refused this ID and stated we both needed NY state IDs to buy the NA beer - clearly an effort to make things difficult. It's worth noting we are both in our 40s. After 15 minutes of us questioning the rationale and providing multiple IDs, we left our $150 worth of groceries at the check out and took our business elsewhere. Apologies to the person stuck behind us in line. Definitely will never shop here again.

Staff is always helpful and friendly. I really like the loyalty program because the store brands are as good or better than name brands. The only fault I can find is that the ice cream isn't cold enough.

They used to have a very helpful and friendly service which is why we have been shopping at this hannaford for years. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. Very rude employee, double charged on multiple items, as if groceries weren't expensive enough, now we are paying for ones we are not buying. Ive never been a fan of the self service but you might as well save yourself the aggravation and money and check out your own groceries. Or just go to the other Hannaford.

Usually, it has a great selection of produce, meats & cheeses as well as your other grocery items. This is probably the largest Hannaford in the Greater Glens Falls area, and so have more selection than some of their other stores.

I find it very convenient. Great hours, I love to shop late when it's not as busy and not as hot outside. Clean, pretty well organized. Friendly staff.

food was easy to find and it looked edible and good to eat but when it comes to baggers that’s when my experience shopping here went downhill, Jared clearly has no care in the world for his job as he disappeared around 3 times in the middle of my order to do something other then bag for me. A manager noticed quickly though and told him that he needs to bag and after mumbling a cus word under his breath he again bagged for me and finished my order.

Literally an extraordinary fish market. Cooked some pricey, but rightly so, swordfish that was recommended and it was as good as any fish I have ever cooked. And they have Cooper Cheese which makes the best grilled cheese for the kids.

We live in mass and do not have Hannafords close by. We found them in Maine and New York and go out of our way to shop there. Excellent in every way. If you get a chance...go!

Good location, helpful and friendly staff.Pleasant,standardized, and consolidated layout in an excellent location only a few miles away from the interstate.An excellent small town store whilst also being near banks, gas stations, general and hardware stores without the excess noise of neighboring exit 19.Calm, concise, and pleasant with the aforementioned make a better quality of life for it's township.

I proceeded to be harassed the moment I walked into the store a lady came running up to me telling me I am not allowed to shop barefoot I told them that it's not a law and it's in my religion to be barefoot she then ran to the manger to complain and they both watched me very closely as I shopped I headed to check out with my bf as he was checking out they came right up to me and asked me if I was gonna pay for myself like I was going to steal very rude and judgemental
